"No offense, but 40 ain't sh**, wait until 50 sneaks up on you....."

For some of us, turning 60 was the "good old days", when we had all our faculties, organs, and joints. Still, its worth it, what with all the fantastic microbrew beer and all the great new strains and now--next month to be specific--legalization! So glad that after all these years of smoking js and pipes--and cigs until 5 years ago--that I still have the lungs for a good mouth-pull draw!

Interesting that they're out of the caps already. May perhaps have something to do with us greedy FCers getting our 3-for-1s. Though one is hard to get the lid on and another is unraveling at the bottom, I'm lovin' my caps and using them every day I'm outdoor recreating or tooling back and forth to see family in the next state. Just lovin' these dosing caps. From assembling everything to clean-up, I'm now manually filling five caps in under two minutes. And that's with 70+ year-old somewhat arthritic and a bit shaky hands.

What is it Pogo said? "We have met the enemy, and he is us!"? I think you make a good point. We are a victim of it's success?

Mine are still intact, but I credit that to being careful, and lately having tools to help the handling. I have some more plans there. I think a 'hands free capping' is possible if we can hold the caps open end up (on a towel it works well). I'm also planning to try modifying the holder part to put a pair of small 'flats' at the end of the plastic tube so you can punch the base lightly to retain the cup while you pull the cap off. You can then empty the base, scoop it full again and cap it without ever taking it out of the tool. Or put it over a peg and push the plunger to eject it at the right place to be picked up again and loaded. The plunger will still eject the loaded one.

Still, at the very cheap price I don't fear scrapping a few from time to time........as long as HR can keep them in stock.....

You're fight about the growing old bit, you all to soon reach the point where 'when you wake up in the morning, that which doesn't hurt is probably broken....'. If your lucky.

No official word yet, least ways I've 'heard'. I suspect that this maker isn't going to guess but it waiting until he's sure it will be available. I like that, personally. Too many make optimistic predictions, even take your money, and fail to deliver as advertised as I see it.

HR, as 'an outfit', is top drawer I think.

That said, it's a repeat order so I'd guess it takes a week or so longer for production but will take the usual 2 to 3 weeks for shipment and Customs? I'd expect them around the end of the month? That's when I hope to order some more anyway.

Congrats on the BD. No offense, but 40 ain't sh**, wait until 50 sneaks up on you..... I hope your 'protected Fury' serves you well. IMO you've every reason to expect it to

Regards to all.

Hi, We do have more dosing capsules being manufactured now - it will be towards the end of this month before they are finished. Our apologies for running out of them - but that 3 for 1 deal really wiped us out fast. We also underestimated how wildly popular they would be. We are having dosing capsules manufactured for the upcoming FIERCE as well - so they will be ready at the same time as the FIERCE launch.

A quick update on the FIERCE: We will have the final 'engineered unit' ready for testing within the week. Once we have thoroughly tested the engineered unit - we will make any tweaks (if necessary). Then comes our first production run for public sale - which should be mid-July. We will be taking pre-orders for the FIERCE once we have an exact date of the public release. Thank you for your patience and understanding - it will be well worth the wait .

Have an awesome day everyone!

Now that I've spent some time using/testing this vape I can see why so many like it. It works equally well as is or with it's own mini bubbler and various water filtrates . I'm not sure I would actually use the WPA or bubbler since I have home options that I like better, but good to know its possible. It was always my intention to use it as is for a quick, portable , pocketable, convection travel vape. It's exactly what I wanted ! My friends haven't seen or tried it yet but I think they will love it and want one once they do.

A gorgeous day up here and I just loaded five caps for a day hiking above tree-line. I've been using them almost every day for three weeks now and haven't needed to clean the oven or the mouthpiece once. The screens are finer than the S-B dosing cap holes, which caps were already so much cleaner than loose flower, so there's much less debris/trichomes gets through.

Yesterday I tried the hack of putting the cap into the gasket holding the screen. Didn't realize that if you take the gasket with the screen off, you don't even need to take the screen out, as it fits perfectly above the screen. I didn't think the draws were as strong as when the cap is in the oven, but I need to try a few more experiments.

And where did everyone go? Or no more questions or comments because this device is so easy and has so few problems? The thread had fallen to the lowest level(page 2 of the portable thread list OMG!) since I started visiting back in December! Or is everyone just out enjoying the weather and their vape?

I have found that if you take the dosing capsule before a session and wedge it into the rubber screen gasket on the mouthpiece it will fit perfectly and will hold it in place (if you are careful) and you will have considerably better vapor production as there is no bypassed air, and all airflow is forced through the capsule. Just an observation. I find the capsules amazing for microdosing, they have been satisfying my cravings and at the same time keeping my tolerance lower than usual, a significant feat.
Are you referring to the concentrate capsule with the red cap?
Cheers .

Just a comment on this amazing vape . I have every S&B vape, many portables and a few desktops.
The Grasshopper became quickly my go to vape, since it was my first on demand vape.
Then it came the Fury 2 that replaced the Gh since is more practical to me having around a power bank for both my phone and vape, than carryingthe GH + batteries. The drawback is that F2 has driven my tolerance up since I never stop after a hit like on the GH but I vape the entire bowl every time.
If this trick restricts the bowl size and limits free airflow it would be very nice.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.

Like you, I've been enjoying the outside with the better weather around here. But when I'm outside I have the F2 nearby.

Last night I couldn't sleep and needed a few indica hits. I had the nano unplugged and didn't want to wait for it to warm up, so out came the F2. I wanted some strong hits fast so I smeared a little hash oil on the conc pad and dropped that in the F2. A short time later I was all set for bed again.

Has anyone tried vaping just hash using the conc pads? Does it work or is there another way to vape just hash with the F2?

For the last week or so my units airflow has gotten worse and worse, now even with nothing in the chamber it still feels like I'm trying to suck a frozen milkshake. I've tried cleaning multiple times still same. Any ideas? @HealthyRips.com

It can really only jam up in two places, the MP or the oven. An easy test will tell you which: Does the MP draw well when not on the unit?

Try shooting some compressed air (use a can with a straw attachment) into the intake holes at the bottom of the unit and see if that helps clear it up.

Ive been concerned about this from the start so I run a fine mesh steel screen at the bottom of my chamber to help protect the inaccessible area underneath from particles and clogging. Dosing capsules achieve the same thing (I only use the glass, so I have to use a flat screen in the chamber instead of capsules). Been doing this since day 1 and all is still well. This is probably one of the reasons they advise against using fine grind.

Yep no problem at all with just the mouthpiece
As OF noted and from your additional info, you likely have an obstruction in the air path below the chamber. Not sure if it would work but could one try blowing into the mouthpiece when attached and there is an empty chamber? If you have no success perhaps a burnoff like series of runs with you forcing the heat into the lower air path. If it works see if you can get some capsules to use in the future. I think that would help you from running into the problem again. Just my two cents and many would concur it usually falls way short of that in value...

I took my Fury2 and a few dosing capsules on my hike today. No problems at all except the display screen is tough to see in broad sunlight. It is a quality unit. I think the issue is not one to be concerned with, especially if dosing capsules are utilized.

@ataxian my friend, get one and some capsules you gonna love it. Really convenient and easy to use vape for sure. I still can't believe how well this little guy works and you can see in my signature I owned a few vapes (not to talk about the ones I tried but never own)

Maybe debris fucking up the tiny airpath?

Yup, that would be my guess as well. Perhaps from a very fine grind and packing it in enough to force some down the holes?

I like the 'compressed air' idea (good place to test that airpath isolation claim.....).

One thing sure, if it's been slowly degrading it's likely jammed in 'good and proper'. Perhaps a couple cycles, empty, at maximum temperature, with no drawing at all might help? Otherwise it may be time to send it back for repair/replacement.

Since nobody else reports this, and it's progressive, I suspect it's technique related.

And I agree, @ataxian should put down his beloved Solo and take the dare. I'd be borderline astounded if he didn't jump on board, and big time. You know how that boy can be.......

Once he puts one in his pants pocket, I bet he keeps one there a lot of the future.

Anyone know where to get the dosing caps? I'd love to use them but HR is sold out :(

Since they sold all the first batch to existing customers, they have none to send to dealers? As yet nobody but them has ever had them, and they are out.

Another (hopefully bigger) batch is due later this month. No need to check there daily, the news is sure to make it to this forum 'at the speed of light'.
