Herborizer corner

Is anyone able to tell me what connection the Herborizer Ti heater takes? I want to buy an extension lead to give myself more slack between the temperature controller and the vape assuming that can be done without issues?

Must say I really like Herborizer's customer service even if it does take a while to get a response, they offered to replace the screw I needed for free and would put it in my next order, always had extra stuff included in my previous orders as well, really love their mini grinders and use my 2 all the time and I got them both free :D
I know nothing really about this modern world technical stuff im afraid but there mustbbeva way surely? Maybe Sebastien would have some idea but I would personally wait a few weeks before emailing him as he must be full on atm getting the Digi ready to launch, plus the new range of bodies and I know hebis also very busy helping a friend set up a new business.

But yeah he is great it would seem at getting back to people in the most sincere and friendly manner, and for certain is very fair and generous at resolving issues to get you happy and sorted at no or minimal personal expense. Cant say it enough- great guy in the vape world!

Fix release dates are a special thing of nearly all vape manufacturers. I've stopped to count on them - better for my blood pressure.
Yes of course, dont get me wrong Im not waiting desperately. Just nice to have a focus and an idea what to expect. The Elev8r will serve me well for the meantime, plus a couple other options in the Omni and a log.

The Evo will have to be sold right away though.:)

Well as it turns out, my friend Dave is coming around tomorrow ro buy my brand new Evo off me. He also bought my Ti last year. He still has the XL Sphere since 2011, going strong still.

But interestingly, he said he prefers the XL to the Ti. He said the Ti has a slight metallic taste to his pallet. Still, I managed to subtly plant the seeds of desire in his mind and convince him he needs to now buy the Vapexhale Cloud Evo!

I dont think it will be a bad acquisition though to be fair, variety is the spice. I was enlightening him on the bonuses of having a wider selection of decent vaporizers, and how it can seriously enhance the way you enjoy the herb and make it work much better for you.

Dave is an estate agent by trade, and he likes his automobiles. So he inderstood the analogy of his 3 fancy cars which he mix and matches with on his travels with great pleasure.

So I have mu Digi-Ti savings back after my impulsive, unscheduled Evo purchase. Im glad I g9t to test it out, albeit very briefly. Just need Seb to pull his finger out now.

I wouldn't say a metallic taste, as it is pure flavor imo too (better than my FlowerPot), but I must say that I find also the XL more tasty !
Is it the big bowl we overload? Is it the smoother extraction compared to Ti's one ? ..

Yeah Im with you guys, I never said I noticed it myself. I cant see how it could really happen anyway to actually taste the Ti. Im sure it is just the distinctive flavour the Ti extraction creates that has Dave's pallet confused.

I noticed immiately when I first tried the Ti that the ABV had a very distinctive odor which was unlike any herb or ABV smell I encountered before. Not bad, just very different.

The Showerhead was exactly the same, but even more distinctive and stronger smelling ABV, nothing like any other vape ABV odor. I am certain I could easily tell which ABV is Ti and which is FP from a blind sniff test.
I tend to notice these small things with precise obsetvations but Im sure most will pay no attention.

But bottom line- specific devices extract and heat the herb in their own unique way so as to produce particular, distinctive scents and even flavours which are unique to that device.
And IMO Dave is just picking up some taste in his herb with the Ti, surely due it's more aggressive, "stripping" and faster extraction.

I would even question whether it is just the chemicals in the weed he vapes. Never organic. It could well be that the chemicals in the weed create more adfitional (metallic?) taste with tge Ti than the XL?

And yes @Joaon the XL is such a gentle extractor vs the Ti and virtually all of the modern "Super Vaporizers". For many the XL is now outdated, myself included. I want a faster extractor, a heavy hitter with more versatlity (small loads, big loads etc).

But for sure the XL still has some appeal and could keep many a vaper very happy. But then I should say that, I have a full XL kit to sell as soon as I can get the last tiny bit of limescale marks out of my Sphere downstem. I am expecting to get an ultrasonic cleaner to see if it xan do the job of getting bubblers 100% clean from stubborn water marks after ISO, vinegar and baking soda have been used.

Bottom line- the XL is still a great vape- some even prefer it to the Ti. If you see one pop up in the classifieds- BUY IT RIGHT AWAY WITH NO HESITATION! ;)

That’s amazing...the distinction never occurred to me. I’m gonna start paying attention to see if I can notice anything, but I doubt it. I tend to be on a duller point on the smell spectrum.
Have a sniff Sticks I promise you there is a difference. It may be that due to the way you are so accustomed to the full spectrum of ABV and vapd odors from having so much experience with different models that you are somewhat desensitsed to the individual aromas.

I dont even have the slightest ftaction of your vape and weed experience and pehaps thst is why I pay attention to these minor, seemingly insignificant points.

Sorry for late reply but there actually was no need in time.

VDNM has no discount this year after the MJ Expo in Berlin as the years before. They only discounted vapes during the MJ (10%) for purchases at the booth aside some really interesting special occasions.
They also didn't hear anything from Seb about a soon release date of the HerboTi digital.

Hopefully they will get a nice postcard this week. I wonder where Seb has gone? Or if it's even a holiday, Im just guessing really. Maybe he's gone on a course to learn to increase productivity and meet proposed targets! I hope it is a holiday though, somewhere nice, coming back all refreshed for some serious business. Everybody needs a break and I know it's been a very busy year.

Always hoping to see a picture of your DigiTi Herbo!!
I noticed on their website they said they are closed for a while, hopefully good news when they get back!
Ready for a BIG release!!

Who knows, could be. There will be some work to do on the website I imagine, and I got the impression he was planning on releasing the new range of bodies at the same time.

Im cool to watch and wait for however long anyway, patient as can be. Try not to get too excited to check my posts here Im sure there wilp be a lot more sudden activity in Herborizer Ghost Corner lol! Or is it simply Herborizer Happy Corner?

This is surely another one of my stupid and naive ideas, but I wonder how Sebastien would feel about doing a clone of the Roor bubbler? If he thought it would be very popular with the masses and rated by the real vapor pros as much better than the shorter Herbo models.

Just a thought anyway. I may put it to him one day when he isn't so rushed.

like the glass aspect over ti
More like SS as a pose to Ti, both are already equally glass just different metal.
Will be interested to see how you like it Zow. No harm in trying especially with such a great deal I saw that one. I will soon be ready to sell my whole XL Sphere kit but Im not gonna offer it THAT cheap good catch bro let us know how it goes.

...too quite in here...must...not...place an order yet...must show patience...wait for ti digi :ninja:

Edit: really guys, i can't stand it any longer
I feel you man. A strange, eerie time. Its like a military standoff where noone knows when battle will resume, it could be any moment or it could be weeks (or in this case, it could still be months for all we know :ugh:).
Let's just hope the Digi-Ti sees 2018. It had better or else Seb will be loaning me an analog, AND pay shipping both ways.

What can we do eh. It will be nice hopefully when there is some action, if we can liven up this corner a bit.
