I managed to get a little extra cooling with crafty at high temps
By using usb fan and only picking it up to puff

- positioned with button at front ..one inch away from fan
(Trying to maximise airflow over fins
..Noticed cooling fins are only around heater not battery)
I felt I got cooler vapor

On the mighty the breeze would want to hit fins at an angle maybe

Thought I might as well recycle that suggestion ..at least it’s fairly easy to try lol

I run my Mighty consistently at 385F and at the very end boost to 410 F. Works for me and the flower is extremely well extracted. I tend to top my loads with a liquid pad to add a bit more conduction at the end of the session. Wonderfully even brown AVB.

I have tried it through water and didn't like it and I do use water tools and generally do like them.

I have never for one moment regretted my purchase of a Mighty....and I have buyer's remorse about almost everything! haha

Good to hear from @Baron23. There's a few mixed opinions here which is interesting. Just solidifies the fact that there's no right or wrong way to vape. It is a lot about personal preference. We can take advice and tips from each other but no one can tell you what works for you. My enjoyment with vaping is the control you have compared to just putting fire on your herb.

I don't regret buying the mighty either. I may have gone a bit overboard buying 3 desktop vapes on the back of the mighty but I really don't want to go back to smoking. I just see this as life preservation for the mighty. Think of it as buying rolling papers or cigarettes (UK where we usually mix tobacco) and roach. Wouldn't think twice about buying a pack of rizla. Which my mighty cost between 200-300 packs of. 4 years supply at the most in paper alone! That's not eventing in to account lighters and gas or how much this adventure has saved me in actual weed consumption.

To the question in hand. I just remembered someone mentioning putting g a marble or ball bearing in the cooling unit. I'm not sure if it's a Mighty, crafty or vivant (alternate) owner. 99.9% sure its on FC though. I guess you'll still get the condensation problem though. Worth a try if you're really looking to do a 210 vape. Just be careful not to inhale the marble or whatever you put in there. 1/2 joking, fully serious- I don't want you choking on my conscious.

There will be something you can do but this is where the fun of vaping really kicks in for me. Experimenting. You might come up with something that no one has thought of yet. Just relax and get creative.

After my experience with the mighty, any temperature below 190 C (375 F) is a waste of your herb.
I start at 190 and finish at 205
I have never used a water tool and never will.
You can try lower temps but all your getting is a good flavor, to get the most out of your herb stay with 190-205 and let us know how that goes

Tried that long ago! It goes too hot, is how that goes. Again, to each is own, enjoy!

if any beginer wants a good experience with the mighty, anything above 375 will get a fully extracted bowl, especially ending at the higher temperatures.

While it's possible to 3D print a replacement housing, the problem is indeed the proper material for the job.

While PEEK is 3D printable with an FDM machine, it wouldn't be capable of producing the detail necessary for proper alignment of the components. And while I do have some other engineering grade high temp polymers which would look beautiful and function perfect, the material would be extremely brittle.

I'm still researching 3D print-ability of various high-temp materials, but we're not quite there yet for direct replication of this functional product

I think the replacement device is more like >$100 (in USD) if you have a warranty, and out of warranty best you can hope for is 50% off but the new device doesn't get a new warranty!

It's really too bad they won't stand by their devices and repair them ... things break, batteries are a consumable, and plastic ages and gets brittle as well ...

As I mentioned, you'll get a lot of different answers. See below.
Maybe you need a Volcano. I imagine the vape gets a good chance to cool down in that bladder/ballon thing!

I can confirm that the balloons from the volcano feel a lot cooler than the mighty. I'm running a volcano at 380 and it's very smooth.

I would also suggest trying as little material as possible. The S+B products seem to be very efficient but also unique. Maybe it's me or my technique or maybe it cause I only have 2 other conduction vapes to compare this with. It's hard to describe and get my head around fully at the moment. I've only had a mighty for about 5 months. Plenty for a couple and volcano digit for a month. Switching between them is fun and is also teaching me their little nuances. I can microdose now with the Mighty and Volcano - just had the lightest whispy balloon from 0.04g on a volcano- i'm getting good results using a basket screen from an Extreme Q with a gauze on as a lid in the reducer chamber. On the Mighty I am using CBD hemp at the moment, in capsules topped with half a liquid pad or a screen and then with the lid on the cap.

My thoughts are if you fully load the chamber there's more substance there to vaporise and the clouds are going to be thicker where as if you use as little as possible there's more air to vapour ratio? So @AddictedToCombustion would you mind doing an experiment like that for me? I know you said you're going to get a bubbler. I've been using mine for the last few morning sessions, and I'm really enjoying it but I'd be very interested to hear your experience.

The Plenty seems like I need to fill it up a bit more but then that's what I like about it. I know it's going to hit and keep hitting if I fill it so only use it when I'm in the/a mood

Mighty European Travel Report:
on my recent trip to Amsterdam and Europe I brought two travel vapes. Mighty and VapCap M.
I use them very little at home as I 99% vape with my miniVAP and Herbalizer.

My guess was the Mighty would get most use but I moved over to mostly VapCap. IMO, the Mighty has
many many positive attributes but the weak points for me were the "chamber", the none-standup securely design,
the 410 F limit, the need to finish your dose or it keeps cooking.

Direct chamber loading was never an option for me as that stains the chamber so bad. I use the capsules but have
grown to dislike them and after this trip, maybe beyond dislike. They get fricken hot and stay hot for a loooong time.
They even burn when heating up/ before you even take a draw---wanted to inspect my load and inspected burn ointment instead. Capsule holes are too big as they let a lot of ABV get sucked out. Capsules seem to resist opening yet other times, they come open when you don't want that.

Vaping story:
One night at 1 AM, sitting on the doorstoop of a 1635 church, overlooking the vacant town square, the Mighty gave some
very nice hits from the Amazing Haze bud/ G-13 and Super Lemon Haze bloc hash.Time to stir but learned my lesson on hot capsules so removed CU and sucked some ghost draws to help cool. Then blew over top of rich capsule with unit leaned about 10 degrees and........ the fricken low pressure area sucked the capsule right out of the chamber and.... it's rolling down the top 3 steps and capsule still intact.... it's rolling across the top landing and capsule still intact.... it's rolling down the entire top stairs and still intact.... it's onto the next landing and still intact....it's now turned to start the next set of stairs and it's in pieces and there goes the prized contents

Luckily, I brought my miniVAP Flexicone setup to use without the cooling unit, for direct draws and better filtering of ABV
and immediate cooling and more convection heating. It Flexicone has a fine screen and tiny hemp filter to contain all ABV micro dust

With water, this is an awesome setup, like for a hard hitting party vape. Without water, this gets harsh after a few hits
so it has drawbacks for travel use too.

VapCap came into play and it was very impressive with the miniPortside induction heater, 6 seconds to heat and puff.
It is very smooth and cool for its size. It worked much better than expected.

I've been using a silicone container (traditionally for dabs) to toss the hot capsules into and just turn up the temp to fully extract as i don't find it necessary to stir the load.

Does anybody of you fellow FC members invented some kind of protection sleeve/bumper/case which would protect the mighty from accidental bumps? ?mainly the cu mount part, thats where the device seems to fail... or do you recommend not keeping the CU on it at all?
I would appreciate your tips

My LCD screen goes out, but if give it a little tap near the bottom, it turns on and stays on throughout my session. Weird and not ideal, I know... but it works
