Hello @dizin
Sorry to hear about your troubles. With it coming back on for a spell, then it stop working again, sounds like you may just need to snug down one or both contacts inside the Nano. Could also be your cord going bad, but it could be an easy fix you at least could check. Be vaping tonight, if lucky.
The two screws to access the innards are under the cork feet on each end of the Epicvape name on the bottom plate. Remove the bottom plate and check the snugness of the two contacts. The contacts are not soldered, they are car speaker type contact slides. Hopefully one of those has just slid off.
First step in trouble shooting, couldn't hurt to check.
And I'm sure @nadia_epic will pop in here shortly and you'll get sorted out either way.
Good luck.

Hey everyone,

I reached out to Epic a few months ago via their website and never got a reply about my Nano that stopped working, but thankfully it started up again so I never followed up. Here I am now and my Nano is officially not working :(!! but I can't seem to get in contact with customer service. I sent an e-mail last Wednesday but still have not heard back. My Nano is still protected under warranty, please help!

Thank you!

Also just to throw it out there for any potential buyers, I have had wonderful experience with customer service in the past. Last time I e-mailed them (before all this) was a couple years ago when I dropped a stem I had just ordered. I received a response within a day and they threw me a free stem with my next order which was fantastic. I am just really missing my nano! :p

If I haven't responded yet please send me a PM. I'm dreadfully behind due to our website, Memorial sale, staff vacations, life...I'll spare you the excuses. I have responded to about 25 emails in the last hour though so I'm hoping one of them was yours!

I'll post my general wordy updates later today when I am caught up!

You were right! However I can't seem to get the blue light back on and it seems like everythings gotten much more loose, I did get it to heat again though. I won't have much use for the vape for the next week so I think I am going to send it back anyway and let them fix it up but this is great to know, I feel like I have connected with my Nano on another level! :D

Thank you for the reply! I wish I posted here like 3 months ago haha!

Will stand by her but it is painful to see that.

Maybe you can pick up some wood filler at Home Depot its like $4 for a tube

If it was me I would give that a try before mailing it back. After the wood filler dries and cures it will probably look pretty artistic

Good day all my fellow Epicvape enthusiasts. Starting the afternoon off with a little Jack Herer in the Nano before finding out what Fortuna has in store for the rest of the day.
Huge Thank You! to both @UnevenPizza and @nadia_epic for the "A Confederacy of Dunces" recommendation. One of the best books I've listened to in awhile and the reader is amazing.

Ah, that's nothing but just some added character. Great wood has character.

Now, please forgive me. I'm not being cavalier about your cracked wood. But I'm a shot-gunner and nobody buys more expensive, highly figured, wood to make stocks out of than shot-gunners. While we all love that highly figured wood, its subject to faults and cracks. Comes with the figuring. Burl in particular will often have voids and other defects once you start cutting into the blank. The strongest wood will be the plainest. Tight, plain, grain is best from a structural POV....but we all still love our figured stocks so...what the hell. Cracks is what comes with the territory. With shotguns, with a small crack like that the fix is generally to use Super Glue. If you can get at it the right angle, drilling a very small hole and pinning the two sides together with a very small wood dowel is how its done right (don't try this on your enano yourself if you are not a wood worker). If you have any stock smiths in your area, they should be able to pin and glue it so you will hardly know its there. Or just learn to love it....its character! :-)

Hey guys!

When you clean the stems, do you remove the outer silicone thingy?
Yes, do not put the silicone sleeve in ISO to soak. They come off very easy IF you just put it under some running water...maybe pull a lip of the sleeve up to start getting water under it then it just slides off. Slides on easy the same way.

Others on FC turned me on to this and it works very well.

Ha! That is how we fix a crack in a didgeridoo. I Also recommend a super glue slurry of saw dust.
It will be thicker, and more wood like. Note that we are not filling voids, but "pinning the crack"
This has saved some expensive instruments, and shot guns too I'd imagine.

Very interesting. They don’t use a slurry on stocks AFAIK as it is desirable for the glue to wick into the wood a bit. But this is for close cracks not gaping voids or the like.
If the burl Nano was mine, I’d just learn to love it as is. Like the mole on Anne Margret, just adds to the beauty, eh? Haha

Ok I posted this on another thread.... but I finally pulled the E-Nano back out recently. Boy, this thing rocks to the max! Andy is amazing. I bought mine probably now 5 years ago, and it's still going strong. Originally, I used the honeycomb stems, but also got a GonG adapter for my Evolver Hydratree. As you can see in my signature, my hydratree is dead. This morning I tried my VapeXhale Turbine on the E-Nano. Holy shit, what a difference. Perfect airflow! Bravo, brav-fucking-o. I love this thing :-)

Thanks @newVaper420 You gave me a reason to hold onto my turbine and nano today. They were both about to go up on the classifieds.

Yo, seriously, go try that shit. it is incredible. I was always so disappointed when I tried to use my evolver hydratree with it. It literally had no airflow. This morning, I was in amazement. I can't wait to go home in 27 minutes and fucking pack a load of Royal Gorilla in the GonG, and get that shit going again. Hahahah :-)

Edit: just got home, here we goooooo lol

So, you put your Gong on the nano upside down (joint facing up/load facing down) and then put the HT on it? And it works well, eh?

Need to try that sometime.

Cheers

Yup exactly. I burnt my fingers this morning cause the GonG gets stuck in the hydra tube. But I’ve figured out the technique is to gentle rock back and forth then the gong loosens and stays on the e-nano.

Trick with the pack is make sure it’s somewhat packed in (not too much or it impedes airflow way too much) but packed enough that it won’t slide down the GonG. It’s an art and a science LOL :-). But so far, having fun with it!

After weeks of AVB Caps, Toast, Shakes...finally get to treat myself again with the nano + sparkly clean glass!

On todays menu there's Blue Dream, Amnesia and some Super Sour Haze (or something like that, can never remember it) :science:

Enjoy. There is nothing better than amazing flowers and a great vape :-). Well maybe some people prefer the concentrates, but me, I love me some good flowers :-).

I also get carts, but flowers are where it’s at :-)

Hi everyone,
I’ve been loving the 7 inch extended stem. I have a medium grind and temp at 6.5. Using some Silver Tip in my Enano right now. I keep my stems really clean to insure excellent vapor flavor. Keep your screens free of debris so not to have a restricted draw. I prefer flowers most of the time as well. My Enano is the vaporizer I use the most even though I own several other units.

For those that are looking for a great desk type vaporizer (plugin) check out the Enano. Also very affordable so not so hard on the pocketbook. More money to buy some top shelf.

Have a great weekend!

I've been using the nano for air freshening, mixing about 1-2 tsp of water with 2-3 drops orange and 1 drop 'stone pine' essential oils(Pinus cembra for those in the know).

That Amnesia is so freakin' smelly, my god! I'm glad I got the Aroma cup, even if it was almost a year after getting my nano.

I got the cheapest option I could (I'm broke), the only thing I had to have was premium walnut, which wasn't really that much more expensive. But if I had more funds, I would have gotten a kind of "premium package" with 2 14 + 18mm GonG,s, an Aroma Cup, 2 stems of your choice (short, medium, long or whatever).

I guess that already comes with the Deluxe kit, but I'm not sure. It's turning into a wild day.

I had 3 Cannacaps made with DDaves kit, and a smooth solo/bubbler sesh, so I'm really havin' a nice day - fathers day for those of you who forgot.;)

I'm going to be starting an internship soon, working with ravens & crows in the wilderness...pretty damn sweet! Very fun to take the nano on the go and blow peoples minds!

Out in the forests, people live as if it where a long past age.
This technology is just so advanced it shakes them to their core!
...that is an exaggeration of course, but I'm sure you've met people who smoke weed but don't know or get what a vaporizer is, or can be in the case of the nano!

Aaaaanyway, hope you're all having a nice day and enjoying your nanos!

Stay Groovy people!
