The King is dead. Long live the King!

I clean my Hydratubes with Grunge off, letting them soak for a day or 2. After removing the Grunge off,
and rinsing multiple times, I still keep getting soap bubbles in the tube for a few days when trying to vape Any tips as to how to get rid of the bubbles immediately?

I'm not sure if this will help you, but I just use 91% alcohol and salt. And then rinse a few times, no bubbles, no junk.

Wow, ordered this morning, and my Evo shipped!!! Maybe I'll get it by this weekend! Awesome!

I hope so. That would be amazing! :-) I'm so excited. Wish I was getting a new Hydratube, but alas, no $$$ :-)

Edit: Thursday it appears! :-)

This morning was the second worst day of my life. The first was breaking my evolver hydra tree and never being able to get that back. The second, this morning, is breaking my cloud Evo bamboo. It’s been going strong for 4 years! But the heater definitely was wonky, the green light never came on. In my spur of the moment, I sent a support note to VapeXhale asking how much to replace the bamboo. But the unit has been through a lot. More than anyone can hope. My daily driver for 4 years! So alas, I did what any good Evoite would do. I just bought a brand new one. Screw fixing the old one. Still on Memorial Day sale, I figure that I would pay between $125 - $160 to fix it. And I paid $280 for a new unit. Worth it!

Anyhow, bummed that my Evo is dead, but it’s memories will live on!

Yo @newVaper420 , been a while. Oh no :argh: you broke your Evolver HydraTree! Only a small number of us have that baby, and now yours has left us. :rip: I still use this HT more than my other glass. So smoooooth and perfectly balanced. I think that would upset me more than breaking my EVO.

Soldier on, fellow EVOite!

EDIT: Fixed name oops; sorry!

@newVaper420 and @NewVape420 are two different people. I think you tagged the wrong one. Have done so myself and gotten a PM from @newVaper420 wondering why the hell I tagged him! LOL

Hahaha I’ve been here just haven’t been posting. It’s been working so good. I’ve mostly been in the grasshopper thread.

Yes, I’ll never forget the day I broke my hydratree. I tried to reach out to Armin directly from evolver but never heard back.

Personally I’m not a fan of the VapeXhale turbine that I have, but t does the job. If they ever get something straight like the evolver hydratree again, I’m gonna jump right in I think. Price has got to be right too. :-)

Wish I could bring my cloud on my trip to San Francisco in July. Truly the best vape ever. There was no hesitation ordering my Cloud Evo this morning after I broke my old one.

Personally I’m not a fan of the VapeXhale turbine

What don't you like about it, mate? I have an OG Turbine (vice smaller Precision) and rather like it myself. Not too much diffusion but tbh I really don't look to concentrates for flavor that much....more for the punch and I like flower for taste (and well rounded effects). For me, the Turbine is pretty good but I have not used any other hydratube with my EVO.

It’s weird to explain. My Evolver Hydratree was like hitting a bong. The VapeXhale Turbine is like hitting a bubbler. I remember when I first pulled the turbine out, I was like this is it? The Evolver had girth. Was nice and thick. Also, the turbine is a pain in the ass to clean compared to the Hydratree.

And lastly, overall I just felt the hydratree hit way harder. Miss that thing a lot.

Hope that was pretty informative.

Can't edit my previous post, so here is a new one. Sorry for the back to back.

1st, I can't wait for VapeXhale to come out with a portable. Go check my post history. I've been saying that for years. Guess it's not as easy as it sounds.

2nd, I can't believe vaporpedia is dead. I spent a lot of time uploading photos of all the old hydratubes to it, and it's gone. I don't even know why we have the link to it in the top bar.

Oh well.

---------

Edit:

Off-topic a bit - Ok this is somewhat related to my previous post about the VapeXhale Turbine...
This morning, I remember I had a GonG adapter for my E-Nano (that I haven't broke out since I got my Cloud Evo all those years ago).

Now with my Evolver Hydratree, I could not get that sucker to work at all. It was very hard to work, and it just did not have enough airflow. Now, the VapeXhale Turbine..... WHAT A BEAST on the E-Nano. I could not believe it this morning. Literally. Wow.

Ok here we go........ I got my Cloud Evo today.

Long live the King! (as someone said above, I'm too high to go look).

Few things. Definitely have the whistle. My old Cloud Evo did not have a whistle to it, no matter how hard you pulled.

The box, I was suprised they went away from the nice retail box, back to a cardboard box. Fine by me. Whatever saves costs! ELBs. Boy, the elbs are different. The caps are pushed in like a concave basket, I never seen that. I thought the first one was defective, but the second one is the same.

I have about 10 or so others that are all in decent shape rotation, so they will be still in rotation.

Holy fuck i'm high as shit. As much as I love my other vaporizes, I don't think I could use anything other than the Cloud Evo as my daily driver. I've been seeing a lot of hubbub about this flowerpot, and while I have no doubt it's awesome, looks too complex for me. Fuck, I mean, I could only imagine the accidents I would fucking have with that thing. LMAO.

Anyhow, back to the statement at hand. The King is back. And it's fucking awesome.

I've supported VapeXhale from the very beginning, and if you look back at my very early posts, I've had a little bit of a rough history with them. I am very happy to say, they have fucking turned shit around for me, and are on the fucking golden list (as if they weren't before, I'm just saying). I have no problems supporting VapeXhale, and I tell everyone, this is the fucking vape to buy! [Edit: That's why I had no problems buying another Evo :-) ]

Anyhow, always respected Seibo to the max whenever I had to deal with him back in the early days, so I'm super glad he is doing well and the company is thriving.

Love the new instruction pamphlet.

I did not put the heat shield on, should I? It smelled a bit.

Lastly, please Seibo, I'm not sure if you still read this, even anonymously, etc.... make that damn Portable Cloud already. The hopper is sorely lacking in a lot of areas. I know you guys can do it right. I'll even buy the first first version, and go through the iterations again with you guys. It's worth it! :-)

Anyhow, as you can see, I can't contain my excitement. A new Cloud Evo after 4+ years, and it still fucking blows me away. Love this thing!

Getting my new Vapexhale Cloud Evo tomorrow! Had my old unit for a couple years and it's still going pretty strong. Big clouds and tremendous flavor from a 1/4 full ELB but it has to heat up for like 15-20 minutes at least.

However, I want to see if they've updated anything and if a new unit vapes better. Especially since it's a daily driver for me, I figured it was worth it to pull the trigger during their Memorial Day sale! Will let everyone know how a fresh unit compares.

I wonder why they don't sell the classic hydratubes anymore and are opting for the smaller "precision" ones. I still have my regular sized Hydrahoneycomb and Hydrabomb and they're the best.

I think I have two great ways to clean the hydratube. The first, put the hydratube on its base. Put that in the sink. Heat up a pot of boiling water and just slowly pour it into the top of hydratube. By the time you've poured the water it's 95% clean. If anything remains, pour isopropyl into the hydratube. Cork both ends. Hold with a towel, cause it's still a bit warm, and shake gently.

It will be 100% clean like new everytime.

The other way, requires an instant hot water tap on your sink. If you have it, just turn up the heat on it, and run water through the hydratube while holding the hydratube with a towel, cause it's hot. A decent seal on the tap causes turbulence as the water flows, and the tube is clean in seconds.

I have found with my hydra tubes, if you live in a hard water area like I do (I use distilled water when I can) you will get a light build up
of limescale which presents itself as a cloudy glass effect. No amount of isopropyl and salt will shift it, but any limescale remover works wonders. I recently treated all my glass with “Oust” and they’re as new!

Heat is your friend when cleaning glass. The difference between room temp water/iso & hot is amazing. (Never get ISO near a flame though, as you will find it's quite flammable... spilled some on my stove once & thought I had it all cleaned up. Found out otherwise when I went to cook something & had 3 ft high flames across the stovetop! Tried using a towel to put out the flames, but then that caught on fire... fun times!)

I use PBW. A little of that in some water with silicone stoppers on both ends. Put the glass in a pot & fill with boiling water... they come out looking beautiful!

Hey Evo gang. I have an announcement. My Evo has just gone to a new home with my good friend Dave, my one and ONLY vape buddy. Im so pleased I managed to entice him into the idea. Infinitely easier and quicker than classifieds.

So glad I got my £250 back so quick. And now Dave has an awsome new vape to compliment his XL and TI Herborizer (which he bought from me 1 year ago, also for £250!)

He just texted me "Wow think I might have just ruined myself?" So he sounds happy and Im really glad of that.
The Evo just wasnt an option for me. Nowhere as near a bad intolerance reaction as the FP or GS, but still too much to get any actual pleasure from using the device unfortunately.

But I did well to squeeze in a short test run and add yet another feather to my cap. So no regrets and I can now look forwards to the next stage of my vape journey, next stop Herborizer Digi-Ti.

A special thanks to you all here for warm welcomes and friendly advice and I wish you all the utmost happiness with your Evo's.:)

Well Im sure it may seem like a merrygoround and it has been, but by no means a fruitless or thankless endeavour. Much learned and gained and the way is paved for peace of mind and contentment.
I could have just bought the analog Herbo Ti after I confirned it is now much better tolerated last Autumn.

But I would have been looking at the greener grass and wondering if I could eat it and how much better that field might be than the one I settled in.
So I can now feel much more content having explored all the other options I feel I need to for now, to have one very excellent desktop which I dont react badly to.:)

Thanks man. And yes I am sorry that I cant exactly contribute here as I would like to, same in many threads. But Im okay with it all. I didnt get any hopes up with this one, no anticipation.

I just tried it out when an opportunity laid before me.
And I will come back here! You have noticed that I can't quite keep my arse put of the threads I have no "license" to gatecarsh lol!
I was just thinking to myself how the Elev8r, as much as I dont admire the hot bowl/clip/loading/coil inconvenience, it really has saved my mentality to come put when it did.

It has provided since basically the same level of medication I feel from the other powerful desktops. Im not in love with the loading ritual, but (shit I totally lost my words- just had my first dose of the day, mid bowl)...

Woah my head is gone, Im not kidding this never happens to me this bad during a post from vaping. I lost my point, or wasn't sure of it. But this is actually proving the point- it hits me Hard!

So it has basically provided those effects I seek, but I tolerate it remarkably well, as well as any vape I have tried. After I used the Evo more heavily for a few days, going back to the Elev8r I imeediately was taking enormous hits (by accident) that I never got close to with the Evo in size (technique, temps, loads in play but not to undestimate the hitting potential of the Elev8r),

and it was incredible to not have that allergy type reaction. So clear that my Evo reaction is nothing to do with how big or hard it hits, volume wise I mean. So strange it all is.:hmm:

But I see now that I may not have coped as well this long, waiting for a more powerful desktop. I love the Evo for what I can tell it would be like for your all without allergies. Its difficult to form a clear subjective impression of these vapes when it is always accompanied by such extreme discomfort. I quickly become conditioned to just not want it.

No appeal, attraction. Like the trillions of my favorite foods, drinks, (drugs?:uhoh:) I had to give up in 2005. I just cant tease myself and crave the "unhaveable"! Wow that is a super cool word. Why don't I hear that being used more?

So I just mentally let go of what doesn't serve me in this sense. With foods I have total mental strenght and disciplne. Vapes...mmm, not so easy but Im over the Evo so not too hard I guess either.;)

Right, that's me outta here (for now). Back to the Elev8r and Think Different Sativa. Autos are doing SUPER so far. 3 weeks old going outside tomorrow. Fingers crossed, 9 weeks.

Got my food cooked and ready- organic wholemeal pasta, raw asparagus and carrots with boiled courgette, raw red sauerkraut and peanut butter, coconut oil plus fave spices. Well yummy cant wait! Have a great weekend all.
