Really surprised by the lack of takers here!
Yocan are a respected manuf' right?

Hey @Yocantech, I'll try one out and report here if you haven't secured a reviewer yet

Yocan comes out with so many unique and cool new devices all the time. So many products i have a hard time keeping up with them all.

I have said it before, but if you want a quality device at an affordable price, Yocan is hard to beat in the concentrate game IMO

I bought one of their early models and it broke right away. The threads stripped out. It was an Ultron e-nail. It worked really well. The battery was pretty darn good (for those days) and I used it, for sure. But, once the threads stripped out, it was impossible to use and kept falling apart.

I just pulled it out and looked at it. This baby was way ahead of it's time. Makes me wonder how their new products are working. This one is all held together with silicone from all my repairs and still has a full bowl. LMAO

I may be able to cannibalize this baby for parts. I Love the built-in ability to fit 14mm or 18mm. And, the battery was a 'no button' type activated simply by drawing.

Geeze, I'm talking myself into this. LOL

Does juice tank accept rosin or does it need to be distillate?

It's for Juice, like CBD Oil and so on
Don't need to distillate

Says here that it takes concentrate. So, it will work with rosin?

CAN you fill the juice tank with distillate? And I mean thick distillate, without diluting. If so, i'm very interested!

And is there more than one temperature?

EDIT: think I answered my own questions.... distillates work in the juice tank, and only one temp like the evolve plus xl.

I think the hive 2.0 might be better than this? at least it has 3 temps?

Here is a vid of the juice tank being filled with disty on the flick.

You can use rosin on the coils, but since it has so many contaminants (waxes, etc) you may go through coils quicker, and require frequent cleaning.

You can also dilute the rosin with terps or whatever and toss that in the "oil tank". I wish it was just called that instead of a "juice tank".

Can refill carts be used on yocan products? Regular 510?

The concentrate carts from the Hive work with the Stealth. Same with the tanks.

I assumed that, but do you know if it's just a regular 510 connection? I'm new to pens and carts, and was just curious if I would be able to attach a prefilled cart to the battery without issues? I don't have any yocan products at the moment to check.

I talk to other medical marijuana patients and they have told me that most of the carts here do fit the Hive. The Florida’s Finest do not. I am not sure about the Stealth. You have to unscrew the bottom connection before putting it on the Stealth, so I’m thinking no. I haven’t bought the carts here yet because they are damned expensive and you don’t get a lot. I don’t think it is 510.

So I got one of these to play with, and am impressed with some of the features, others I have no use for (like hanging it around my neck) but can see how some might find them useful and a few features that leave me scratching my head.

Starting with the name? Stealth?

IMO Hive is a whole lot more discrete, anyway you look at it? Even without all that chrome, it's a long way from stealthy to me.......perhaps I'm just in the wrong circles.....

The 'switchblade' action is fun, no doubt about it. But kinda flashy? And don't get to playing with in while in use, unless you want to fling what's left of your load 'up the spout', where it will sit and taunt you and defy retrieval. Trust me on this.

There's a neat 'hidden feature' in the way the connection to the heater is made. One side is the frame of course, but the 'hot' connection is by an isolated button near the hinge hitting a spring loaded pin in the frame above the hinge. No chance of heating unless the arm is fully deployed. No flexible wire through the hinge to break on you when you really need it. Cool.

Finally the feature that ruins it for me overall, unless I change 'my grip'. The slot has a very stylish 'flare' at the mouth. This means the otherwise already too sharp corners at the bottom are bent outward, becoming more like saw teeth? I end up with one of the other being poked painfully into the palm of my hand below the little finger when using it. Every time I grip it in my fist rather than fingertips. And it's a matter of time until I change grips and get poked again. Not an issue if you're paying strict attention, of course.

For now I see it as another useful addition to the Yocan line. More options for personal tastes, a good thing. For me personally some pluses but more significant minuses. I'll stick to Hive for now?

The next fellow (or lady) along is likely to find differently?

Yocan seems to be working on 'something nice for everyone'. Very cool, that. Lots of choices. Solid quality, dependable, reasonably priced. What's not to like somewhere in there?

Regards to all.

Yeah, I've gotta say, the Hive looks much more discrete and manageable to me too.
Thanks for the review!

This thing comes with no directions. How do you adjust the voltage?

You can't? Not a feature of this model (like Hive 1). Those that can, like Hive 2, do so with 3 quick presses when 'on'. 5 turns it off or on? Actually it doesn't, you cannot turn if off, only put it in standby. If you could turn it off, it would never 'see' you press 5 times to come back on.....
