so after 2 months of back and forth with the company my fate with my ghost is done i returned it and bought a bong....

my vaporizer

and my bong lol...

During the entire 2 mos. they didn't offer you a replacement??? Do you know who you were corresponding with?

Wish I had read this thread sooner:doh:Unfortunately I got way too excited after watching VC's YouTube review and pulled the trigger. I've always trusted his word and demos and it's never let me down in the past but now I'm wishing I waited as well. Wish me luck boys, hope I get a good one...:uhoh:

hey man yeah i think i messed up and was crappy at explaining that i have been for two months waiting to solve my vape issue it started with the first vaporizer i got when i join the beta testing group for the app. it was fine but i started to act weird. it would vape highly inconsistently and would also makes noises and the door was getting harder and harder to open until it finally just wouldn't...send them a message they sent me a replacement which is the video you see in question. it apparently had a coil problem. so after that i got sent another one which did work for about two weeks then the vape started to do the same thing as the other two....the sucky part about it all was the green bits....i have two jars filled with avb and dude all my friends like to go through it and get bowls to mess with me i keep all that to make edibles lol long response sorry...

try it out yourself if its worth it you will know ,but share your experience record it i did...

in the end its not consistent and super finicky but when the stars align it works...

OT: MV1 just seems like a weird ass vape. I get why folks go for it simply because Bud is a good dude and had a lot of input, but I don't like the crucible design very much myself. I feel like it focuses on the bells and app whistles rather than just making something with good function that is dependable and affordable.

what you are saying is like music to my ears! going with the flower pot then and yes this device has burn my finger tips more than anything and cleaning the crucibles and the vape is kinda of annoying...they get all nasty and black...

I have two MV1's. One I bought and one resulting from beta team participation.

I do not doubt anybody's claim that their MV1 is not operating properly and there is no way I would contest anybody's posts along those lines.

But mine work perfectly as do quite a number of other people. A large number including many very experienced vaporists.

I too don't like the crucible design as I just think its a bit of a PIA....but pretty much all vapes have something to object to. Some don't like bags and diss the Volcano. For others its a god send. Some object to plastic housing of the Mighty/Crafty while for many others this is THE consistent, workman like, vape of all portables. Some like unregulated vapes like Milaana while others think that's crazy. Etc, etc., etc.

So, while its not my favorite design feature, its more an annoyance than a serious issue for me at least.

I do get very smooth, powerful vapor from my MV1s. I'm sorry that not everybody is experiencing this also but I have watched Ghost...over a long period of time...provide good customer support including warranty replacements, until they get a user happy with an properly operating device.

The only other thing about the MV1 that I think needs to be high on the priority list for improvements is power control. Its simply a fact that the units run hotter on the first load of a fully charged battery and then drop down a bit for the duration. I just up my temps to 410 or so on subsequent loads and it vapes just fine....but I would like to see this corrected. Optimally, power to the coil should be consistent across the discharge curve of the battery. Now, power management (and especially determination and display of remaining battery power) is notoriously difficult to do with Li Ion batteries but others do seem to have done it better than Ghost's initial try.

If I had an MV1 whose performance I was not satisfied with, I would definitely contact Ghost for repair/replacement. That's why we have warranties, yeah?

Got the email from UPS Sunday morning that let me know it will be here today so I'll be reviewing it after it gets it's initial charge. Still kinda irritated that I had to wait for shipping confirmation from UPS and I never got a word from Ghost at all. No shipping confirmation email or response from customer service when I inquired about it. Which hasn't been reassuring to say the least.

sorry...O_O i just want to be honest i loved the vape but it never lasted for me but a couple of my friends stuck to theirs and are happy campers!!

I don't know, my CS experience was excellent and I don't believe I'm alone. Check out the Grasshopper thread if you want to see a shit-ton of bad CS experiences (although, my experience with GH Labs was also good...maybe I've just been lucky...wait...nope. Elevape and Pinnacle Pro were shit).

My main issue with them at this point is the fact that bashing them on the Vapelife forum got me in touch with them faster then direct email. Leading me to believe that if I didn't know to try and get ahold of them through Bud's forum that I would still be sitting around with my thumbs in my ass waiting for an answer:nope:

Naw that ain't it even though my cloud evo is needing a repair of the electronics I suspect. My problem is the complete lack of standard internet business practice. For example I have long hair so I ordered some nice hair ties that won't break my hair last night because the stores these days have a pitiful selection and I didn't find what I was looking for. Now these hair ties were only 10 bucks, 13 total. Why does a company that deals in hair ties and EVERY other company I've ordered from since I can remember give me an almost instant purchase confirmation email and shipping confirmation the next day but these bastards can't even respond to my emails that are trying to get to the bottom of what's going on with my new vape I should already have? I've never seen the amount of pure fuckery that I've been dealing with since Friday and considering all this you think they'd have the decency to pick up a phone and explain themselves and apologize but no. I still have to chase them down on Vapelife forum because they can't even respond to my fucking emails:mad: I'd just like to take this time to thank my enano and STILL trustworthy AIR for helping me get through all this frustration.

And that they will refund your expedited shipping charges if not received by COB on Monday? And that if you don't receive it by COB Monday that they would ship you another one on Tues to arrive Wed?
