The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I have to accept that even thought i've read all the posts on this thread, i kinda didn't pay too much attention to the ones concerning the SB capsules, so not sure if maybe my idea was just something i read in older posts, but i hope it works.
Yo - I can't quite Grock what you're referring to here. Hook me up?

I also did a elbow pack with my first scuba method.
Basically just breathe in and out of the balloon without taking a break - this seriously messes you up and please do be careful!
(Some of you may have tried it already and had little to no effect but for me it was a game changer!)

This is hilarious, AND I gotta try it for sure!

I remember that when i went through all the posts on the Extreme Q thread (there were about 450 pages at the time), there were some which mentioned using SB capsules with the EQ. I remember seeing the cotton technique. So, I was just saying that maybe my idea isn't really mine, maybe i read it in one of the those posts:Just trying not to take merit for an idea that maybe isn't mine, that's all.
I still have to tinker more with the search functions, but just putting in "capsules" search within the thread throws about 10 posts on the topic, but not as many as i thought.. maybe i actually read about the capsules used in the Arizer in another thread. Sorry i can't point you in a better drection.

A question:
is wobbling of the cyclone bowl (where it connects to the heater) definitely not a worrying topic? I read an old post here saying it wasn't something to worry about, but I want to confirm it's still the case.

I was going to use the unit this morning and seeing the cyclone bowl so dirty (and still don't have good alcohol to clean it), i decided to use the other cyclone bowl i was given with the unit. But this spare one wobbles a lot! The seller confirmed it's not an original arizer cyclone bowl and that he had bought it in ebay. Arizer cyclone bowl also wobbles, but just a tiny little bit, almost unnoticeable; the ebay one (to the right) wobbles a lot no matter how i place it.

I think it's fine. The cyclone bowl is just a receptacle for the herb. It won't be moving around during inhalation, and if it did, it still shouldn't be a problem. If it bothers you, then it's a concern of course. We are talking about the cyclone bowl, not the heater core, right?
As usual, I can recommend the DDave mod short bowl, as it works even better than the cyclone IMO, and Ddave's strict with his specs and makes sure of a good fit and quality glass. I haven't even used my cyclone since I got mine. Nothing wrong with stock, other than it doesn't rock, but it's nice to know it can get even better.

yeah, thanks!, it seems to be working fine but i feel uneasy about that wobbling, i'd rather it fit snug like the stock cyclone bowl. Im sure it's not the heater (oh lord, please no more heater problems), it's just as loose in the elbow connection, tried both ends as well....

And well... I have to say I've been very happy (you can tell how much my Diy vapes sucked hehehe) with the stock bowl for group vaping and elbow packing for myself. I can see clearly how the ddave adapter would make it better, though, and my plan was to buy the ddave mod, but since i screwed up the heater and plan to retire the unit as soon as i can, and still not sure what vape ill end up buying, i might have to reconsider if i need the ddave mod. If i lived in the US i would buy it immediatly regarless of my situation... just to play with it. I would definetily not buy from ebay seeing how this little defects bother me and yeha, i've read about how strict ddave is and that just what i like from people i buy from.

Lots of new eq owners about lately...

Would that have been mine...???

This was achieved by loading the cyclone, starting at 200 on fan1, and ramping up with a couple of stirs in between... finishing at 220...

This method has really worked well for me. I've been able to create some nice thick vapor. Do you have any other tips or techniques to share?

wobbling, i'd rather it fit snug like the stock cyclone bowl.
Greetings friend,

That wobble is engineered into every piece that I make. I've tested personally and @kellya86 has multiple discussions with me on FC verifying these are still air tight connections.

If you go back around 2013 sometime in this thread you'll see it has people were experimenting with different types of adapters the ones that fit like the Cyclone Bowl had a tendency to get stuck to the glass heater cover.

My solution was to engineer a wobble, which was still airtight, that would avoid this unfortunate situation.

lol i only just got mine a few weeks ago. oh well
Mine was an impulse purchase. The fair Gwendolyn was telling me about the challenges of smoking in a nonlegal state, and in a household where others don't like smoke. She found herself having to smoke in the yard, and the weather is often challenging, and there are nosy neighbors to keep smells from, as well as not wanting to smell like weed . She also dislikes the taste of smoking, and prefers other delivery methods, such as edibles. Just getting to the point of smoking seemed dreadful, and so different than what options I have in California.
Naturally, I suggested vaping.
Naturally, I suggested the Arizer Extreme Q .
Then I realized I knew the perfect gift. Vaping has less smell in the air and on your person, it can be done indoors, uses less herb, maximizes the herb you do have, and you get lovely ABV to use for edibles and tincture. Further, in my mind, the Arizer Extreme Q is perfect for the new, as well as experienced, vaper. When can I ever give a gift that would address every issue, know it would bring pleasure and happiness as it solves problems, and is also an attractive and discrete aromatherapy device ? And, Father's day sales meant that for $149.00 including shipping, I could send an Arizer Extreme Q with a free grinder and storage container.
If it weren't for budgetary issues, she would have a DDave kit on the way as well, for maximum utility. There's always next month .
Sadly, many of my own items were destroyed, or went missing while I got out of a horrifically abusive relationship recently. This has impeded my generosity, but I am doing what I can.
Just got an email that Gwendolyn's vape shipped, and she should be getting it on Saturday!
Now I need to corral the tips and tricks I have learned from this site, and send them to her so she can get the most of her Arizer Extreme Q experience.

Herb gardener...
Do you have any other tips or techniques to share?

Get all parts well preheated..

Make sure there is NO air in the bag at all beforr inflation..

Ensure you cannabis is at the correct humidity for optimum vapour production...

Get fan 1 going before you attatch the bag, wait for thick vapour to flow.. (only takes a second)

Apart from that, i dunno, just practice... who doesnt like practice..

Where are all the creative canna-kooks out there? 'Cannabis Consumers' have always been relentlessly imaginative when it comes to getting, uh, medicated. No one has figured this out yet?

No elbow pack derailments, please. I've tried a few things to use the S & B Capsules:
  1. Putting a screen on top of it - only worked once but was great and showed that the concept was completely doable.
  2. Put cotton around it and a screen - too much trouble.
  3. Put foil around it and a screen - worked okay but not great, and a hassle to get it in there.

I'm gonna do this somehow - the capsules are just too convenient, and some of the potential of this device untapped. Can't find anything or any pictures yet.

Measure the capsule diameter and the diameter of your bowl, if you can find a matching ceramic O-ring that fits snugly between them it should just drop in. https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/ceramic-o--ring.html

Or you could try getting someone to make you a custom bowl that narrows to fit the capsules, no idea what you'd be charged for that though.

@DDave

why do you have a 'Non-clickable Page' link on your site?

@everybody else who's seen it:-

You all clicked the hell out of it too right, just in case it was a secret? Or have I played too many video games?

1:- DDave kit really is essential, that bowl is too damn big solo if you want to get anything done
2:- Bags need a way to be closed! I'm hammered, I started off on the whip intending to fill the bags after, only realized while filling the first bag that I had no way to close it and put it aside like I intended.
3:- Niiiccee vapour - I love my Fury 2 but this just keeps coming thick and I played around turned the fans on and off while drawing whoaaa. Then filled the bags at slowest speed and that was effortless smoking...inhaling? Vapouring? What's the right term?
4:- That glass pick nicely plugs the bag-filling stem to keep my lovely vapour inside while switching bags, handy!

It was at the top right after Cart at one point, not appearing back there now but it is on the drop-down menu for 'More' now.
