Settling in with my new flowerpot. Can anyone recommend me a glass piece with absolute minimum diffusion, not as a daily driver but just when flavour is the only priority?

If you are brave, try a J Hook completely dry. A bit more diffusion and moisture: J Hook with Ashcatcher

Next would be any rig with just a simple downstem and not any special diffusors

Diffusion pump?
Haven't used one myself, but they are purported to have minimum diffusion, maximum flavor (for a water piece).

FWIW the Rattle Can is the diffusion pump.

It would be interesting to see someone make a pipe specifically designed for cooling dry vapor... perhaps a faberge egg type design for diffusion, but without a perc to eliminate that "am I getting a hit" lack of bubble feedback.

I bought a few of these Korken jars from IKEA for AVB and they happen to fit perfectly in the largest hole of the Newvape base. I removed the locking device from the jar and just have the lid resting on top for quick access, but the rubber keeps it sealed. I've been finding it really handy for keeping avb fresh at all stages, if you're into that.

My VRod has landed in the UK !! Unfortunately that still means a week eta for it to travel the final 30 miles through parcelforces slow motion customs process but at least it means I’ll get to try it in the next fortnight!!

First VRod in europe i guess  sadly i have to hate you now as i am so envious but have lots of fun and report back here :science: Just fun, enjoy your new toy

last few days I have started around 580 for a few really nice terpy hits, then I just up to about 640 with a carb cap. I get nice full hits and very even and dark extraction. I could see combusting even at 640 if I am not careful with now I use the cap.

In my limited experience I get both better flavor and fuller extraction on flower when using the cap as compared to not

Man I have been using this thing with flower for about a week now. It is amazing. I love the flowerpot with showerhead! The airflow on it is amazing. vapor production is crazy. It lets you fiddle with the experience. Its so easy to clean. No wonder there is such a dedicated fan base for this vape.

Just noticed my coil cover had been sitting upside down...for a month

Is the difference between the 1 piece bowls and the newer big enough to justify getting one? Are the old bowls still what people prefer? My order hasn't been shipped yet and thinking about adding one.
What about stubby vs handle bowl?

Edit: has anyone tried putting a rimmed basket screen in the adjustabowl post? Works really well for me so far.

Can someone please post the dhgate link to Steven's glass bowls? Can't find in this thread and I want to add a couple to my open order with him.

Personally I prefer the adjusta-bowls. I like the panhead over the shovel head. You can also get a 14mm post and a 18mm post so you can use your adjusta-bowl with most glass.

One piece bowls are also excellent but I have not used a one piece bowl since I picked-up an adjusta-bowl.

:2c:

Thx, already have the 14mm post in my vrod order. If there was a huge difference in performance I might have added one of the older bowls.

Got my VROD set up and waiting on coil from EZ Bake. Should be here tomorrow (fingers crossed). Confirmed that Ehle glass bowls fit the VROD as same as they fit the Showerhed.

The craftsmanship on the VROD is very nice. Need to read up on prep and care of the dnail sic dish.

Congrats and as for the Dnail Sic dish it is so simple. It is as easy wiping with a qtip and some water or iso , wipe after every dab or 2 also to keep it fresh while warm. With quartz it is more of a hassle . The sic is also strong and can take some abuse. You will be surprised at how easy it is to keep nice as I was.
