I posted this in the non-elite thread, I figured I'd post here too since there is more activity in here.
I feel like I've seen a lot of people warn about taking those out of the HA. It can be a little snug (especially after heating) and trying to twist or rock it out could lead to damaging stuff inside the HA. I don't remember people saying that it happened to them, just warning about it. To be very careful taking it out if it's snug, wait for it to cool and don't twist it out. I use the teflon one that came with it, but I definitely get wanting to use glass instead.

I went to PetsMart, found their largest variable speed aquarium pump, bought that and used my existing silicone hose, works great and gives you WAY more control. That's what I used on the v2.2 I gave my brother.

I use mine with the D020-D. Sometimes I put it into the base upside down, but usually I use a whip attachment from the HA to the glass. Unfortunately I've never owned a hydratube or any kind of glass that goes on the vape vs the other way around. Have you tried both?
I actually just got an FC-UFO that I'm liking a lot, haven't tried it with the HA yet.

Just posting to give a shout-out to my H3. It is the vape that got me off combusting, and I still use it pretty often. I prefer it over the Volcano, the bags are denser and less irritating to my throat. When other vapes are done, the H3 can usually squeeze more hits out of the material, amazing. I usually use mine with bags, since I feel it really shines that way, but I also hook it up to my Ehle bong or my hydratube. I've included a pic with the hydratube and the bong for your viewing pleasure. Yeah I know, my window sill needs cleaning...

It sure is one under appreciated vaporizer!
I love them! So far I have owned 3 and all are still working!
One was given to a friend and it is his only vape and loves it and uses it every day for the last 5 or so years without any issues.
I have an original version as well as the digital Elite, both are awesome!
And I agree, BEST bag vape out there! Volcano bags were always dry for me.

I use a hydratube as well, or a PNWT sometimes. I agree about how thoroughly the HA extracts cannabinoids. I save up the herb pellet ABV from my logs and Vapolution 2.0 (another underrated vape) and drop them into my HA, and I can always get some substantial rips.

I haven't used one of these, I really liked my old 2.1(?) but gave it to someone who could make full use of it, I have to keep my vaping low key these days so I rarely get to sit back with a whip or blow a few bags.

I checked the web-site, it says out of stock, not discontinued.
Also looked like they had a price reduction of the whole line with the Elite to $299, and I think there was a $50 discount at one point.
I upgraded from the original HA 2.1, to the 2.2 which was in service for a decade (and was given to a family member who is still using it with and w/o water tool), and upgraded to the Elite in the last 2-3 years.
I had a fluke Elite failure, which they replaced, and while I waited for the delays between the U.S. and Canadian postal folks, I made the decision to dive in with both feet and tackle the learning curve for the BoxMods/Atomizer 'palm vape' that was the step away from those horrible pen vapes that were (are) everywhere. Reading the Divine Tribe thread was an education
I ended up putting together a small fleet of (in my mind 'emergency') palm vapes with various atomizers (including custom built tanks), and they have quickly become my go to devices. With decreasing mobility and energy, their portability has worked out well. My next venture will be to try one of Matt's DT dry herb atomizers.
That said, I received some nice nugs from Santa, and I'm looking forward to firing up the HA and water tool, not much better way to go than that combo for flower. Also works great for 'flower sandwiches' (a fancy way of saying 'grease up the flower' with some good concentrate), not to mention it's versatility as a 'party vape'.

Correct the elite had a pc board issue (3 failed on us) they replaced my elite with h3 and they said in their email "due to these issue elite is discontinued"(reason out of stock)

Hi guys, I'm thinking to get another HerbalAire... my 2.2 was my first vape and it is still going strong since 2012!
The Elite interest me cause the precise T° control and the 210°C max temp... although, that last feature isn't mentionned in the HerbalAire website, it's even mentionned to be 400°F... there is still some Elite for sale at Verdampnotchmal...
