Glad to hear that you are back in the Elite game! A member did PM me that his recently purchased Elite died very shortly after he bought it. He said he it just stopped heating up so it's not just a 220v thing that these can fail.

The only way I was using my Elite is with the PV GonG.... even the high output pump is gathering dust. I just never use the tong or bags/whips, and much prefer the simplicity of the glass gong and a bong. However, the vapour still isn't very dense and my wife became frustrated with not getting medicated fast enough, and requiring too many airy hits, so the Elite has been on the backburner for a while now!

May have to dust her off and give it another go! I do miss those powerful espresso mode hits through the bong!

Welcome back!!! Just picked up the high output Pump! Still LOVING both of my Elite's! Gonna try to see what bags I can find that don't leak like the stock. Guess volcano bags?

Yeah the volcano bags are pretty full proof when it comes to not leaking. They don't have seams which I find is where the oem herbalAire bags leak from.

All hail the (mighty) vapor
My HA bags are not leaking. Btw: since i start loving the bags i am actually considering buying a Volcano....

Threads been dead, and I honestly Havnt used mine in ages. Few new blokes at work, who also all love bud luckily had them around, two Chileans two Italians.... Me a twangy awssie! Learning curve on the butane vapes was lost in translation. But the HA come to save the day. I forgot just how tasty and satisfying this thing is. Still like my smaller bowls for normal use, but I forgot how simple this thing is, for those times you have too much on your place to keep up with some of the manual vapes.

So any chance of some followup to the idea of slamming a vaporific pump input into your HerbalAire by connecting one's output to the other's input? Getting tired of the vapor bag prejudice here, even in this amazingly well moderated site. Want to set up GodzillaBags. Thinking about a 14/10 reducer to use those nice new arizer mouthpiece balloons. Quick switch to some glass and then sip sip away. How bad you think it would screw up the target HerbalAire? Am I gonna fry a sensor or just gum up the "jets"? I know I'm vasted, but damn I'm intrigued with this idea....

crickets...

ok, I got my Herbie Elite a short while back.

I had a 2.2 Herbie, that I used with my own variable speed pump,
and it was a powerful combo that's still running its 10th year :)
Had bought the TonG adapter and a Hydrotube for that Herbie,
a whip and a collection of the spare crucibles and concentrate crucibles.

I like the single plug configuration of the Elite and the timer,
I felt I needed a stronger pump (I was spoiled by the previous one), to eliminate any possible
issue with the previous pump, they sent me the H.O. pump. Works great! (thanks Neil!).
It is no longer single plug tho, I hope they come up with a configuration that can pigtail
into their existing single plug system (but it might be a current limit for that single plug).
They have a little bleed valve you can stick in the intake to slow the air flow rather than a variable speed electronic control. I use it wide open and while I played with the bleed valve, I didn't see the need for it, but I probably missed something.

I use this largely in 2 ways, filling a bag, or pushing into some nice glass.
It excels in both. Flower, Concentrate, combinations of both... it rocks.
The product is built like a tank (strong, not heavy) and I have high hopes for another long-lived unit.
You can fill up to 1, 3 or 5 bags at a time predicated on which crucible holder/mouthpiece you buy.
To fill 5 bags at a time you have to have the H.O. pump.

Perhaps in their next version they can source a variable speed pump and include a control signal to be able to also specify the pump speed as well as the pumping time.

That's about all I could suggest, it's a really nice unit.
If you are looking at a unit for home, it's got my recommendation.

Almost there...
I am left wondering why my elite ended up back in the box a very long time ago...
Ground up some Blueberry Blush and loaded up a small amount, pressed into a hard little disc in the PV GonG.
I have a home made adapter to attach to my custom bag. The bag is a Herbalizer bag with a Volcano Easy Valve attached to it, works really well! I have also reduced the bag a bit so it is slightly under filled when the timer shuts off, no waste this way.
Temp was set at 184 degrees C and GonG was left in for 30 seconds before starting the pump.
Nice thick, white vapor filled the bags...
Taste was exceptional as always and effects are potent as always!
Two nice bags off each little puck and i am set for a really long time.

Think it is time to force myself into a two vape a week and then switch vapes!
A desktop and a portable for a week and then switch it up every week.
Have to start using these vapes that were bought because they are so good!
Best bag vape i have ever tried! Beats out my Herbalizer with ease.
Have not tried a Zephyr Ion yet, anyone have both of Ion and Elite?
Care to do a quick comparison?
I would like to know if it is as efficient as the Elite is and if it can handle micro doses and fill a bag full.

Glad my Elite has made it back to the vape station!

Over the last year I grabbed a lily, a daisy, an apollo, and a vapcap. The use time with my ha has definitely decreased with all my new vapes, that thing is my rock though. I throw in a nug, turn the dial, hang the whip so it sits by my head and relax (or kill things in a video game). It always works (even after me mistreating it), hardly needs cleaning, vapes all the substances I want, hooks up to all the things I want, and has some tasty vapor. When I bought it I hardly did any research and didn't know anything about vapes, I'm super lucky it ended up being exactly what I wanted. Even 7 years later.

For me the bags from a Volcano were very dry and irritated my throat and chest, had to be very low temp not to get irritated and that did not medicate me correctly.

My Elite provides superior bags that are much tastier and denser than my Volcano ever gave me.
I have also placed a reducer on the air pump so the bags are even more dense, just the fill up time is slightly longer at 90 seconds.

No power problems here in Germany. Elite unit is not heating anymore. Everything else works.
The 2.2 the led on the bottom started to flicker and made some crackling sounds. after 10 seconds it stopped and now the 2.2 doesn't do anything.
I used to swear by the Herbalaire, it was like the AK-47 of vapes - beat the shit out of it, still works. Lasted for years, until one day it didn't.

Got a new one, conked out under warranty. Crackling noises just as was said.

Sent it in, they fixed it, although shipping cost a bit, and time was surprisingly long... And then it conked out again maybe two months later!

This is where I'm at now... Do I throw more money at shipping it in to get it fixed and limp by on my grasshopper until it comes back, or do I just shed a tear for this product line and move on? I don't know what happened but it seems the build quality or something isn't right anymore. I'm in Canada, same country as they are, same province, the whole house is certified surge protected and grounded so I don't think it's power lines issue. It's a shame, they had a great product, but I think I have to switch desktop solutions

Hi, im here to say my third HA elite dead jus now.

The first stop heating with more or less one year of use: Lcd, buttons and pumb ok, but not heatin. The shop warranty sendme another one.

The second, aparantely dead for no reason, like the other, 11-12 months later . No Lcd, no buttons and obviosly not heating. The HA warranty sendme another one. One fact, the pumb buzzes wen the HA is plugued

And finaly, 3 months after recieve de the new one, stop heating again, exactly the than the second.

I do an extensive use, 2-3 sesions every day, but never, never the device has fallen me, I've always been extremely careful

I always send the defective unit to the tecnic service, whit the cost that suposed. I'm in Spain and i'm not sure tho start again with the warranty proces.

any suggestions to fix it myself? I buy another? which?
Seems my elite(s) have had this issue too... I have gone thru 3 in 3 years

I put 3 grams through my herbalAire H3 EVERY single day as a medical user. It still works like new.

In fact, my circa 2007 herbalAire h2.1 still also works just as well as be day I got it.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the quality of the electrical current available in your home, possibly spikes causing damage or premature wear? I’m in Canada and our systems are of the same grade as the average US system and my units still function just fine.

I know you are referring to your Elite having issues dying. I think the silver lining here is that herbalAire is honouring their warranty. But that is unfortunate.

Interesting that it is ONLY ELITES thinking it is their electronics in the unit itself.

I agree the h2.1 h2.2 are work horses... Wish their premium unit was up to that standard :bang:

200c 400f. Not sure how that works because they aren't exactly the same thing, but that's what it displays.
I run mine on F on the off chance that it may be the true and exact temp, 400f is hotter than 200c.
Maybe running mine @ 400f not 200c broke them

Do you just the planetvape GLASS on Glass?

I'm thinking of going that route

I either stuff it into a big beaker-bong, or fill a bag with it.
I gave my 2.2 to my brother, with the TonG adapter, a nice glass bubbler and
the big variable speed aquarium pump... I'm using the high output pump
with the Elite, but I'm disappointed it isn't integrated with the Elite like the standard pump.

That initial failure was fortuitous as it forced me to make the dive into learning about mod-boxes, atomizers, et al so I would have a 'backup' vape... the portability and performance of the DivineTribe stuff is so useful and desirable that the various DT units are now my primary vapes.

Have you been usintb the restrictor nozzle that comes with the Hugh output pumps. If you don’t have one I can literally mail you one for the cost of a stamp why I have lots of.

I did personally finds out if the 5 high output pumps I have at one time, 2 for the elite without a switch and 2 for the H3 with the switch. I have had a high output pump for over 8-9 years and I swear by the pump. It just extracts slightly more effectively.

Lastly, I have just started using the pump from my H3 and find it to be pretty satisfactory for my needs for the herbalAire I have in my desk. My old H2.2 is still in my bedroom with the high output pump and going strong.

I do something very few people emply. I find the herbalAire works best with a solid when use the bottom of a Mightty Medic dosing capsule placed above.

I’ll look up some more picturedkkk
