Can you shed some light about this "significant short risk/venting" that you refer to here? I'm no battery expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I do know that I use LiPo batteries in my drones and I crash those fuckers hard all the time. I was led to believe that LiPo's are used with drones because they are safe even when taking abuse. You seem to imply the opposite, so I'd appreciate it if you can point me in the direction of data to the contrary.

:peace:
No thanks. I'm not going to expound on basic battery chemistries here.

If a moderator has gotten involved, we're a hop skip and jump away from the relocation of my postings to "the use of LiPo batteries in a convection vaporizer" thread, where the company will never reply to it.

I'm not going down that path again, wasting my time like I did on another safety issue, Teflon.

It was an honest question. You claimed something and I was curious about where you heard it from. I'm just asking for the source of your concerns as it's something that I'd not heard of before.

Is the fierce going to have a metal basket? Or do you aim for a glass one? I suppose mwtal is easier to work with but using a glass basket will greatly increase the convection percentage of the heating and would really up the level of the vapor...
Few more questions:
Is the chamber aimed to be bigger than the fury's one? Are you planning on creating capsules for the fierce too?
Fury questions-will the capsules work with the wpa/wpaxl/bubbler?
And the finaly- are you making wpa that fits like the silicone mp do? Sounds like a really useful thing, having a wpa that has the bottom portion of the regular silicone mp but on the other end is 14/18/10mm male ending... Would be really easy to use, a lot durable, much moew descreet and more slick

Thanks ahead for the answers that i know from my experience will come!
Looking forward to see the fierce lunch as a magnificent vaporizer!

Thank you so much for your questions!
The chamber will be stainless steel - but we have made adjustments to our convection technology to lower the radiant heat that causes the slight conduction effect. We expect the convection ratio to be 90-95%.
The chamber will be 13mm in diameter compared to the 11mm in the FURY 2. Yes - we are manufacturing dosing capsules for the FIERCE now in preparation for the FIERCE launch.

For the FURY 2 - we are discussing a design for an 'Accessories Attachment' that would hold the glass attachments similar to the one we are designing for the FIERCE - but we are concentrating our efforts on the development of the FIERCE right now. The FURY 2 dosing capsules do not work with the glass attachments - if so, they would be far too small to be effective.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

All the Best!

Amazing! The fierce looks great and I'm sure it will be top notch for those who want such a thing. I think HR make great decisions designing these things. BUT, it is bigger than I'd ever want as a portable in unit size and/or bowl size.

It's so great to hear that HR are still discussing how they can improve the Fury 2 further with even more accessories.

It really doesn't look all that big to me. The pictures in OP comparing it with the Fury 2 just makes it look that way since the Fury 2 is absolutely TINY.

To be able to calm the hype for this fierce I'm buying a new desktop vaporizer to support the fury2, fenix and soon fierce

Hurry up please...ive been wanting to get a companion for my hr force and something a little larger for group sessions...anticipation is killing me. Lol..on a serious note i am happy yo see HR take there time with the unit prior to releasing it..we have all seen or bought products at launch that were either faulty or defective in some way...using the proven model of the fury 2 i hope that negates or minimizes any issues..keep up the great work @HealthyRips.com ...cant wait

From HR

A quick update on the FIERCE: We will have the final 'engineered unit' ready for testing within the week. Once we have thoroughly tested the engineered unit - we will make any tweaks (if necessary). Then comes our first production run for public sale - which should be mid-July. We will be taking pre-orders for the FIERCE once we have an exact date of the public release. Thank you for your patience and understanding - it will be well worth the wait .

Hi everyone.

Forum newbie (and vapcap user,) here. I'm after some advice about "going digital".
Should I just buy a mighty or wait for the feirce?

I'm in the UK so shipping will probably be a pain but on paper the feirce with dosing caps sounds like the perfect option for me. I just dont know if I should wait until july for it or just go with the mighty now which I'm pretty sure will do the job.

If you have the money, you will most likely be happy with the Mighty (which also has dosing caps available). The size is pretty large, I am not sure how it compares with the Fierce yet.
The Fierce is still an unknown, albeit, the company has done nothing but impress with the Fury2 (in performance and CS). But until it is released, we won’t know exactly how it stacks up to the Mighty. Based on how the Fury2 works, I am assuming the heat up time will probably be considerably faster with the Fierce vs the Mighty. But again, I am just assuming, I don’t know this as a fact.
If you have a tight budget, it may be worth the wait, but if you have the $$, And the location is better for CS, the Mighty is a great option.

Welcome to FC @ShedDweller. There are places in Europe to buy vapes with less postage, eg. Vaposhop and Vapefiend both come to mind.

I would wait for the fierce, if you like the reliability of the Vapcap you will also like the Fierce, HR stand behind their products with a full warranty for 1 year and also a lifetime 50% warranty(you have a problem after the first year and HR will sell you a new one at half price!) The S&B portables seem to be made to last just longer than the warranty, if you are lucky, after that they will charge you an arm and a leg to fix it, not great for a product that is so expensive to start with.

Here is a thought: why not buy a Fury2 now (under 150) and use it until the Fierce comes out. The Fierce looks to be priced around $200. The price of these two together is close to the cost of a Mighty and allows you to have a backup vape in the Fury2. I love my Fury2 and it is what I grab going out the door. I will get a Fierce because I trust HR to give me value and customer service and if it doesn’t work for me in my life situation, it will be easy to sell used.

I would wait for the Fierce and just use your vapcap for now, it's only a month. The Mighty is never going to fit into any normal pocket, it's really not what I'd call portable. I think S&B screwed up and made something too big for a portable, too small for a desktop.

The Fierce, despite MRB's reservations, looks only fractionally bigger than the tiny, tiny Fury 2 - certainly looks still smaller than a packet of cigs.

I was seriously considering waiting for it myself, but unlike yourself I didn't have any vape at all in the meantime and I wanted to quit cigs. The Fury 2 has impressed the hell out of me and completely justified it's purchase, I've had no tobacco in 8 days now nor set fire to anything, plus I've smoked, oops I mean Vaped, less than 1/4 of my usual weed. I'd normally go through easy 1/2 oz, I started with 1/4oz last sat morning and I still have a few grams left.
That's £16 on cigs and over £60 on weed I've saved in a week, at this rate I could buy a new vape every couple weeks and still be saving money :p I'm going to try not to do that though...

I will be buying a Fierce at some point, just waiting for my vapcap to arrive monday or tues and researching desktop options. And waiting for the Fury 2 dosing capsules to come back in stock...

I'm in the UK too and bought my Fury 2 from Vaposhop, arrived quickly in plain packaging (marked 'Skynet', which is only suspicious to John Connor not the mailman) with a handy little stash tub of Peppermint to back up the 'aromatherapy device' story. If they stock the Fierce then I'd order through there and avoid dealing with HMRC, taxes and charges on stuff from the US are stupidly high, Europe is free.

Welcome to FC @Skunkport, the Fury is a great place to begin your vape journey.

Congratulations on kicking the cigs & combustion.

I am waiting for a Fierce so I can begin my journey with @HealthyRips.com. Les's hope the wait is short.

Well it's not looking good. I haven't even got my vapcap yet...but I've just ordered the parts to build an induction heater for it, a cool wooden incense holder as a storage tube for it, a wooden pipe I think I can make into a custom stem (maybe), little capsule keyring that seems about the right size to hold the dosing capsules for my Fury 2 that aren't even in stock yet, 3 different torch lighters, a weird silicone snail water pipe and a grinder in the shape of Darth Vader.

From the Fury thread on Wednesday:-

FIERCE Vaporizer: We are currently testing our last 'engineered unit' before we go into full production. We could not be happier with the performance during this final testing stage - the functionality, vapor quality and battery life continue to blow us away. We will make an announcement soon regarding the release date and pre-sale order opportunities.

Have an amazing day!
