@Alexis I think there is also dilution at play when dropping into water vs directly vaporizing those concentrated essential oils.

Concentrated terpenes can be very harsh IMO, I feel that live resin sauces often have a mild burning sensation from extremely high amounts of mono terpenes.

Essential oils are best used into ultrasonic nebulizers ,i had one for years until it broke. I went cheap using these. You can either make your own or look for readymade ones in the pharmacies, my favorite brand is Vitcko (wow what a rip off in pricing, here they cost only 0.60 EURO ... guess because they are made here. ) . Menthol, camphor, methyl salicylate, oil of pine, oil of eucalyptus is my favorite blend.
I did look at those little wicked styles. I also have a nenuliser. However- plastic! A big no go with essentials. I am sure it would cause some reactions with the plastic nebuliser container.

The wicks, I was looking to get medical grade plastic but not fully convinced the material is fit. And it may not provide enough relief to be worth the effort over my other already time and energy demandind strategies. If I felt more confident about the plastic Im sure I would give it a go.

I'm very excited about the digital Herb Ti coming out soon. I don't have a dedicated home vape and I'm thinking this could be it. Eagerly awaiting news :D
A possible welcome aboard the Herborizer train? We are always in need of new recruits over here to breathe some fresh life into this still bizarrely inactive thread, for what is still one of the best desktops available.

Hope to see you back soon with exciting news.

Ah thanks @Alexis and @Joaon , great to be here too. Haven't been that long off combustion, only about 6 months and got into VAS too easily. Currently enjoying a Mighty, with whip and bubbler as my desktop but I'd like more hahaha

It's a decision between this and the FP. I know the Digital Ti version isn't available just yet and we can only speculate but my gut feeling is I'll go with that over the FP...both seem great but feeling better vibes for the Herborizer.

Digi will be less than 2 weeks now so not much wait. Also if you did decide to go FP there is a new head coming out in next few weeks which I would personally pick myself over the other 2 if I was buying now. So time wise the Digital will likely be ready first.

It is a tough pick actually. So close are the units in performance. You cant go wrong with either, but you know you will be VASing for the other one no matter how content you are.;)

Actually still just a small number of members here have or have tried both units. So when it comes to comparisons and overall consensus, field tests are still rather limited.
Some feel the FP is superior, at least one has practcally retired his Herbo for the Showerhead.
But then others say they like the Ti equally, or even a little more.

Im looking forward to this vape gaining more popularity which it will surely do this year now. I expect interest in tge US to spike. Vapecritic is going to get one and will get some word out fast on it.

That's great advice and yeah I kinda figured the VAS might creep in again but at these high costs it's very doubtful I can justify two or afford two but lets see. Tough decisions but if they're close in performance I might just support Sebastian, heard about great customer service and being a stand up guy. Somehow visually the Herborizer looks a little nicer to me too.

Almost there...
@Alexis

When your Herborizer Digital Ti arrives and you are comfortable with it, would you try something for me?
Heat the head up on the stand, not the bowl.
Load a cold bowl and let me know how it performs.

This was the only area that the Herborizer Ti failed in for me and that was a deal breaker.
Hoping the digital one is not just a digital controller and that is it.

I would love to own one again, so long as it works flawlessly with a cold bowl.

Super excited for you bro!!!
I know how much you loved the Ti!!:luv:

I think us Herborizer Ti owners are just satisfied with our vapes. Or we're too stoned (also a testament to the Herborizer)

Been a while since I posted here actually. Have gotten really comfy with my Ti over the months. Tried it with every bong, bubbler and mouthpiece in my collection.

These days I'm all about vaping DRY! It started with the Herborizer Steamroller, I loved it so much I bought 3 more dry pieces (2 sherlocks and another steamroller). I'm lucky enough to have all 3 Herborizer bodies but I rarely vape though water anymore! This is a big deal as I've been vapor-bonging for 10+ years. The flavor and intensity of the vapor though a dry attachment is just too good, and I notice the step down when I occasionally use water.

So if you haven't tried it, you're missing out. Steamrollers and sherlocks both work awesome. My favourite overall is this $8 sherlock: https://www.thickassglass.com/collections/sherlock-pipes/products/8-sherlock-arm-18mm

Yes, $8!

And the quality is ridiculously good, I wish I'd bought 5 of them for a lifetime supply.

When you think about it, a short vapor path just like your J hook really makes the most sense from a vaporization standpoint.

Many of us have a desire to make vapor smoother, and "more comfortable" and use water pipes to achieve that, but vapor does not want to be "cool" - it has to stay at a certain temperature to remain in the vapor phase, or it simply condenses on our water pipes as reclaim and we get no effect.

This is also why I don't really like recyclers - they are basically "condensation stations" they use lots of water and have lots of additional surface area for vapor to cool and turn into reclaim.

I will certainly do. I will have 2 regular bowls for the rare (but hopefully more frequent) occasions when I vape with a friend.
The plan has always been to have numerous rig and bowl options to make easy social vaping, from a hygiene point of view as well, but it keeps apl options open.

Like for me how I can vape my weed and they can vape anything they want, which Im allergic to, and they arent restricted to what I can tolerate. Plus my herb is so precious and unguaranteed (wow, long word) so I cant afford to share. If I could source herb elsewhere believe me Im as sharing as they come.

But anyway- for eg- when visiting friends in the past and sharing the XL with one bowl only between 3 people. I had to either provide the load for everyone because Im allergic to their weed, or work around it in turns. Even with 2 XL bowls, you know the problem. Heat soak etc.

So that is my plan with the Ti, as it was with the Flowerpot. Separate bowls, separate rigs. Sure loads will also be shared, even using separate bubblers/bodies. But I need this flexibility with my vapes. So it will be interesting to test all of this out. When it comes to social vaping it will get well tested out very well over a session.

And this is also a reason I decided to wait for the digital. Reasoning that the more powerful heater which I guess will be more responsive should make for more consistent performance and faster heat soaking of the bowls when swapped over.

The heater may alter the vape signature too if it compensates more responsively and aggressively to heat being robbed into the cold bowl on first pulls. If so, that could minimise also reduce the importance of heat soaking and by same token the bowl should warm up quicker. Al trajection, and some, none or all of it may apply, we will see. But it makes sense anyway, even if the effect turns out to be mild.

Exactly the point and question at hand, and I completely get you on this. Having your wisdom and input on this is so valuable to me to make and keep sense of (vapes in general) and this one.

I have shared these aspects of the Ti from your own particular angle, in relation to the others (GS, FP, SUB(?) Etc etc etc etc:lol:;))..... to Sebastien already, but I might just quote above your typically perfectly incisive, fitting and concise summary of the exact point at hand.

Honestly Lazy, Im sure nobody around here puts it so bluntly truthfully but laymanly simply in such a bang on way. You just have a real ability to figure out all the ins and outs of these vapes and make it so clear to us all.

And yes indeed, it may not make much or enough difference to this usage aspect or single flaw for you. There must be surely be some effect on performance but how much? I am obviously going to be happy whatever, but it would be swell if my pondering is confirmed to a reasonable degree.

Oh yeah, I did have the face to tell Seb- The FP Showerhead is a little better IME and IMO!:brow:
Sould I say "face" or should I say "balls."

Super excited for you bro!!!
I know how much you loved the Ti!!:luv:
Thanks bro. However, I dont wanna stitch myself up again, in case there is some strange vape signature alteration that affects my allergies, and I have to come here saying bad news guys cant use this vape.

In which case, an easy fix. Ask Seb to swap it back for an analog. Still a happy ending to fall back on.:)

I think us Herborizer Ti owners are just satisfied with our vapes. Or we're too stoned (also a testament to the Herborizer)
Thanks Bleak for sharing insight from the real world. You are still to me, the original champion of Herborizer and the Ti with that fantastic and hypnotic video! So your inputs are always valued as well bro. However, I have some beef to pick: :nope:

Damn you Bleak! That was $19 I didnt really need to spend today! It did look so good though. I spun the TAG wheel for the day, hoping for free shipping. Got 20% off so thought heck it.

I want to get more into the dry vaping, and as Seb is going to release a number of dry bodies including a sherlock I figured this one will be a nice cheap start.

@Alexis

Right on man!! I get you from all aspects!
The one thing that annoyed me about growing my own stash was that most people wanted it for free all the time...Or just come over and vape a bunch and then leave...No longer friends with those people.

Either way, you will be with the Ti again! The model makes no difference, it's your tolerance of the vape that is the most important part!

@bleak

+1 for damn you! I read that post first thing and cleaned out my RooR and have been hitting it dry all afternoon! Not with the Ti unfortunately but my GS, so pretty close in some areas.
Awesome flavor, awesome clouds and better effects!

The Glass Symphony is #1! Hands down for me.
Supreme 3 and 4
EVO
FP SH
Versa

Those are my top ones but the GS excels.
I see VHW is a gonna for the monent. But who knows when it might spin back onto the racetrack for funsake?

All very interesting Lazy. I had been under the impression that the Showerhead was your favorite of all time, but maybe the GS has gotten its nose ahead since. I have seen your comments on it all on VLF.

One relevant thing I didnt mention before with the Ti- the Microbowl! Surely a good chance of working well with no,mor the most minimal heat soak. I will be testing it out for sure.

Which vapes work for you like that? I assume you're looking for instant, thick vapor. Off the top of my head, only the Supreme and GS get thicker quicker, unless I'm forgetting one.

The GS looks like it milks hard but I don't know that I've seen anybody rip a big tube with it before, I've posted numerous videos of my Showerhead nearly instantly whitewalling my 14" beaker. It's for sure up there with the best as far as thick instant vapor.
