@potenthits I get what you are saying ,let see what will the maker say about it when he chimes in. But from the current state of things,6 weeks backorder and having in mind this is a one man show,i imagine it is pretty hard to dedicate hours both to coding and building,i dont see

You are absolutely right. This is certainly a low priority enhancement, and it would seem FJ is not hurting for demand. I'll see how it goes, I have some batteries charging. although, I will concede that I should have tested it before going down this tangent here. Blame the effectiveness of the TUBOx. :ko:

The Ddave Vapor Cooler is great. It does a good job of breaking up and containing the vapor. It doesn't have an internal screen like the stock mouthpieces, so I shove a basket screen down in there and then cap it.

It would be cool if there was an edge to hold a screen because I find myself constantly trying to prevent the basket screen from falling in too far.

Where's a good place to get more rimmed basket screens for the Tubo? What size am I looking for?

I smashed my glass whip connector :( where can I get more, aside from Lamart?

DDave has those rimmed screens . Here is the Amazon deal https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073WQJYRS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .
You can try squeeze the screens between your index and your thumb pushing the bottom upside. This will create a wider and more rigid outer mesh wall.

NFE Tools recognized the Gen3, then when I went to load the latest mytuboevic firmware i got an error message about compatibility with device. So, no go. I was able to get the latest myevic firmware loaded. I haven't made the effort to see which version of myevic added the Gen3, but a typical next step would be to toss that firmware version along with the prior into a visual compare tool, and isolate the lines and references that added the mod compatibility. I do realize the TUBOx is a minority share of this thread, so I hope this is taken as helpful contribution.

where did you get that version of myevic? it is not the official one developped by clockselect as far as i i know.
microsur is actively developping his fork of myevic and has experimental support for primo primo2 gen3. i plan on porting his code to the tubomyevic but need time and also the mods to verify everything. primos are already ordered, will order a gen3 as well. but then there is still the time thing, anyone has some for me?:D (seriously i can pay tubos or money for someone to port the code)

building is going full steam. im still behind, took in too many orders at 420. those orders are looking at 6week estimated building time from order date. again hoping to catch up a bit.

next drop, next week, time tba

have a nice day everyone

Yes, it looks like I grabbed a microsur fork:

Definitely an interesting offer. My coding skills are laughably amateur, but I can certainly do a code comparison between the trunk and branch versions. Surely we have some eyeballs in this thread with some knowledge behind them that will chime in with support.

You have a great product with great service FJ. It means a lot to continue to listen to the community for enhancements to your already stellar products. Cheers, and I hope you continue to be inspired and don't get burned out.

Does anyone know if it comes with batteries? Batteries are not listed under "included" but it does include a usb charging cable.

By the way, has anyone thought of using the Arctic Fox firmware with the Tubo heater? It seems to have all the same capabilities as the myevic, plus some. As long as it can replicate the functionality of myevic (e.g. custom TCR, ohm settings, etc.) shouldn't it work? Just curious whether jumping on board with them might offer more support re development, hopefully taking some pressure off of FJ to develop the software?

Yes, from what I understand any temp control subohm mod that can operate at 70 watts can work. Some others have mentioned Arctic Fox with regards to customization. Most want the TUBO custom myevic for the warm-up, cruise, temp-step, and eco functions; I think AF would only work on demand.

Ah, I didn't realize that the cruise etc features were unique to the tubomyevic software.

maybe @Hackerman ... I do not have any clue about codeing ... I only read you are familiar with codeing... so thought maybe you would be interested... sorry if I got this wrong...

I took a picture today after cleaning my Beech and Rose Gold Tubo. With my favourite stock mouthpiece sittin' pretty like that, I call it the "Juicebox." :ko:

the device get "too hot" pretty often. what can i do to improve it?
Does it happen when in cruise or while on demand ? Can you describe your usage pattern so i could give any advise . If you dont preheat the tubo and try to push at high temps while inhaling it is very likely for that to happen. Try cruising in temps like 185-190 for 40-50 seconds and then start your session. .Draw speed also might be a factor along with preheat.

What Abysmal Vapor said, also:

Funky recommended Eco for me to solve this problem. I'm going to try it today.

Set your Eco level in ‘menu>vaping>Ecolevel’.

More info in the online manual:
Tubo.lamart.ch

Try taking slower sips with breaks in between. Also I've found that smaller, looser loads help with this. I too am struggling with this problem.

What I'd like to know it's how increasing the resistance affects the load on the battery and chip? Am I incorrect in thinking that increasing resistance will help the evic reach temp with less of a load on the device? If not, can someone explain how the resistance affects energy distribution?

I have to attach the vacuum cleaner at 260C to my TUBOxRX300 in order to get too hot message. It can deliver up to 300watts so running it at 40-50w with spikes up to 120w if you draw in heroic manner, while on my TUBOevic it seem that it was running it to the edge of its capabilities.
The main factor which play in the overheating of the TUBOevic are
1.When vaping seriously :D , Mod runs at 40-50 watts and often maxes out it wattage, which means it is running on the edge of its capabilities at prolonged periods which is not the design intent ,which is for ecig atomizers where people rarely fire for longer than 20 seconds. Avoid drawing toooo fast.
2. Reflected heat from the herb chamber, at the end of the session or in back to back sessions glass gets hot. So avoid back to back sessions. This is not an issue with TUBOx.
3.The battery is like 30% of the weight in the TUBO and when it is drained at 40+ wattage it gets hot, because it is getting drained a lot like in 10-12 minutes of usage. THis doesnt happens with multi battery mod ,or it happens less. And when battery charge falls it gets even hotter when drained + it is underperforming . Tip is to rotate multiple batteries and never to drain them under 30%,they also charge way faster that way.
