@Kozzmozz ahh thats a giod tip, thank you. I may revisit my original honest torches.

@paehtod dont get me gassing for an OG now! I really wanted one, but my situation doesnt really allow for something that cant be easily hidden away! Hopefully i can persuade a friend to get one that i can try :brow:

I was wondering, how many people here use the Honest torches that came with their SBJr?

I have a couple of them, and im finding that when they are turned up high enough to get the required heat to vaporise, they then take quite a while to extinguish. Anyone else finding that? have i been unlucky? Is there something else im doing that could attribute to how long it takes for the flame to subside?
You can also turn the adjustment screw underneath to dial the flame,I just found out today :freak:

My Jr. has been sitting unused for quite a few months and had some remaining bud left in it. I'm a bit concerned about mold having formed in the unit as a result and wondering if anyone has any tips?

Wasn't really sure where the best place to post this was but since I was inspired by the Flip Brick I feel like this would be appropriate. I also have to give credit for @paytonpenn too.

I would like to share the "Glass Brick" I've devised with just a few simple parts.

Essentially all it is, is a 14/18mm adapter with two screens and a quartz banger with the bucket broken off. You don't have to break the bucket off but I just have found that I like it better that way. Really any sort of nail or even a nectar collector tip would work however I've found quartz banger to be the best combination of airflow and air dispersal. Other styles of domeless nails have too concentrated of an airflow and have hot spots, since the joints on quartz are shaped like they are the air expands for more even vaporization.

This setup produce incredible amounts of vapor, can be micro-dosed down to .025g, exacts as fast as you want it too and it almost impossible to combust with.

It's not without it's faults though. The metal screen falls out when you go to empty it unless it's pretty dirty. It's also look's a little strange, very homemade and definitely would confound people that are unaware of it's purpose with possible ridicule from your more abrasive peers.

Here is all you need:
YAxeV6R.jpg

You don't need to use a glass honeycomb screen like in the picture, you can easier just cut a metal screen and push it down in there.

What you do next is just either drop the honeycomb screen down in or cut and push a metal screen down into the 14mm joint of the adapter.

J3niRut.jpg

Next you simply just put the metal screen on top, it's best to try and it make it concave so it sits nicely.

And then you're done! Simple as that. Here is the final product with the quartz banger in the joint.

Thanks for reading!

* I forgot to add that I've tried using a 18mm male joint and basket screen. It creates vapor incredibly fast and easy to unload and reload but combustion is much much easier. The setup above has *knocks on wood* never combusted yet even with first time users. I've put the flame a 1/2 down the intake and it still doesn't combust.

That's absolutely beautiful, good choice! Has the canary wood bleed at all? I notice the red in my canary wood UD bleeds out when it gets hot.

Serious? Just brush it out. If really concerned, I suppose you could run some ISO through it but it would have to completely and thoroughly dry before using.

I would brush out and then use, myself.

I would said the OG hitting is totally cool~ I think the wood part will not get hot at all. But i do notice a tiny drop of black tree oil come out from pores, but its fine and not affect the vapor.

For anyone that read this post I made stating that the basket screens didn't work, I've found a simple solution by just extending the air path.

It certainly doesn't help it look any less ugly or make it any shorter but it makes loading and unloading a breeze. The only way I can use it this way is by attaching a hose to the piece, that's why there's a mysterious black object in the mouthpiece.

I agree, it’s all about what works for you. I started with the flame control method and on a whim decided to try using only draw speed to control it. I found I preferred that but I still use flame control from time to time. Like several times a week. :D

What I love about the Sticky Brick vapes is the manual, customizable nature of the performance they provide. It almost feels like you’re playing a musical instrument. Cue the song Baker Street (thanks for making that connection in my mind @StormyPinkness and @WakeAndVape):

That’s an excellent observation and something I never considered.

Yes, you can use the same small amounts as the Junior in the OG and still get good performance. It takes about .03 grams to cover the screen which should give you a couple of huge hits.

For myself I prefer the OG to my Hydro add-on. The add-on is amazing when I want to use water but most of the time I prefer dry. The OG is so smooth dry feels like you’re using water anyway, just with better flavor.

A negative point? The OG is so fun to use that you might end up consuming more material, even though the OG is very efficient. It’s not very portable either. I look at it like a cordless desktop if that makes sense.

I’m still in love with my OG, it is powerful, tasty, and efficient. I enjoy holding it in my hand, using it, and looking at it.

If only StickyBrick could come up with a mini bong for the Junior!
I managed to use it with my 4" bong (with a pipe tip grip for the junction 14mm>10mm) and the results are fantastic, that little beast can make very big and tasteful clouds !
w06oll.jpg

But a Sticky Brick in-house solution would be 10 thousands time better, please Sticky Brick make it happen!

A semi-theoretical question I was asked by an SBL Product Support Employee in response to asking him if its true that its in development after reading from another thread that i'd be SBL's apex of the HydroBrick line, I don't know if i'd say apex but heres the newest word on SBL Recycler-Tube.

As far as the recycler...all I can say is it’s a big maybe. The problem with selling American glass is it’s not cheap, which means a big upfront cost to us. A recycler hydrotube is more work then our more standard models and we are afraid the retail cost of such a piece will really limit sales. Having said that, we have our glass team working on it while trying to hold costs down, but we truly have no eta, or whether it will get done. As a favor to us...could you ball park a price range you would be looking for on a recycler?

Thanks again
SBL

I think with how helpful the SBL Team is to the Vape Community i'd be cool to help them. What I mean is give them something to refer to in terms of their price ceiling and dimensions to see if what we want can be made at a price we're willing to pay.

Idk maybe I love SBL too much but hey, no harm in finding out if other Brick-Lovers feel similar.

Finally, the day my family of bricks grows:clap:! is on my way home un OG :brow:

For European colleagues know that in Vapefiend has a 20% on the OG ladirlo and if you add to the cart a few Vipes wipes you will reach the minimum value so that the shipment is free (€ 135) total a fantastic price :o...
[ When I am a millionaire, I will buy a brick from each existing wood and I will make one out of pink wood  (( delusions )) ]

Now..I only have the worst -> The wait :bang::bang::bang:...

i bought mine from them too, and UK to Italy took only 5 days if i remember well (the Junior was at the same price as the OG and i hesitate but finally chose the little one)
And if you enter 420 in the coupon zone you save 10£ off the price too: so 123.56€ is truly a fantastic price ;)

@hopla thanks to mention it, I forgot the Coupon 420,

I Do not mention the coupon because using it with € 123.56 you will pay about € 19 aprox to ship, total - >> about € 142 put at home .. for quote the investment in € 1 wipes or ask for something else and hold the coupon as I did --> I asked for a cold mouthpiece for my Milaana :D, jis, jis, jis

EDIT: One thing that I realized after a while of paying my OG, on the web of vapefiend the OG has a hole in the center:hmm: .. Is it an old model:hmm::hmm:? Am I very medicated:hmm::hmm::hmm:?

Yes the hole in the center is the older model. It might be an old photo, best to email and ask. I think it would be great to get one of the older ones. You are a gone have a blast and get really blasted with this unit. This is my everyday driver.

Thanks @cpk for illustrating:tup:, would it be interesting to know if the difference is only visual:hmm:?
I also think it would be great to have an old version:luv:, I will not send the email because the package is already on the way, I will take it as a surprise:worms:; if it is old, it will be great:o, if it is the new one, it will be the last model:borg:...

I remember reading that hole was to symbolize something. Then people requested without the hole and that where its at today. Here is a link for what I think is the best lighter. Blazer and other lighters can't light upside down like the OG requires. This Scorchy can handle it no problem. It also turns off the butane when the button is released so it is not like some.

To reach 135€ you could have bought other accessories, in the end you spend the money they want you to spend but you have more accessories related to vaping.
I bought an Arizer silicone tube on vaposhop to reach the 50€ minimum for free delivery (and i had some fun experimenting different combinations with my little bong).

my OG arrived today:o, wow how fast it arrived! incredible vapefiend service:clap::clap::clap:.
It's beautiful, I'm not still familiar with it :goon: ... I'm not the same as the junior, I have to discover another method like for me :science:... I have to practice guys! jus, juss

With my little time of possession my sensations are the following:
- larger than the junior
- more comfortable than the junior
- more visible steam than the junior :sherlock: -> this I love!

It works just as well as the junior but have a personality of its own that I have yet to discover
