Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

His_Highness

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king
I currently own the mighty and sticky brick. I use them both and enjoy each for a different experience.

I’m really hoping there is room for evo as well. Will I find another good experience? Or will it be similar to those I own?

Also here in aus $499 for standard kit, does this work by itself or do you need a hydro tube?

Which tube is recommended, honeycomb? Bomb? Or other?

I've tried the Mighty and the Sticky Brick as well as a slew of other vapes and there is definitely a spot for the EVO in that mix. Everyone's preferences can differ but the EVO is a cannabis connoisseurs desktop. Taste, Taste, Taste and the versatility of the attachments are amazing. There is a wait for it to get to temp but it's definitely worth the wait.

As far as how to get started ... that's also a personal preference. I prefer to use the EVO dry because the taste is amazing that way so I got the standard kit with the standard dry mouthpiece. But my go-to is a cheap Chinese bubbler that I also use dry.

As far as current specials I'm not aware of any but Vapexhale does run specials for many holidays. I'm not sure if you can order from the Vapexhale web site but if you order a base kit and then order the standard mouthpiece separately you'll save $10 that way versus adding the mouthpiece to the base kit itself. @stickstones may still have his discount code so I'm tagging him here.

Thanks so much to you both for the quick reply’s.

I think I have made up my mind, and I think I like the sound of the turbine although like the mighty and sticky, I don’t mind dry.

I think I’ll hunt around and look for a deal as I’m a bit budget tight. This will probably have to be one of those hidden from wife purchases :) just gotta sometimes

Really looking forward to this now. Awesome

WOW, I think that’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever seen on a forum. Well done!

My first post here, long time lurking (you made me join after reading that above)

Can I ask a quick question about evo please?

I currently own the mighty and sticky brick. I use them both and enjoy each for a different experience.

I’m really hoping there is room for evo as well. Will I find another good experience? Or will it be similar to those I own?

Also here in aus $499 for standard kit, does this work by itself or do you need a hydro tube?

Any good places to purchase online with current specials? Thanks so much
I'm not sure which SB you own, but I've got a Maxx and Jr, as well as a Mighty to help compare.

I agree with the earlier responses, @His_Highness was spot on, this will fit beautifully between those two.

It will beat the Mighty in flavor Ann' with just a slight lag in heat up time and is very versatile.

With the Maxx, it will hit just as hard, but has a different profile and without a learning curve!

I've yet to try my Evo dry, but have plans to try and thru a whip also. It pairs well with so many glass pieces I have that I don't like giving recommendations, but my favorite may be my Sticky Tube.

As for the very kind gesture by @cilantro , hats off friend! You'll find that spirit here more often than you'll expect (at first), there's others that continue to shine like @Vitolo also!

Back on topic....if it's in the budget, very few are disappointed, it's all here for the reading, go for it !

One new owner here :) thanks for the help

About to get to know each other.

Went with the turbine - looks amazing

We are best friends now.

Thanks again for the help.

A quick review of my initial thoughts.

Packaged really well, lots of bubble wrap around the glads. Good instructions, quick and simple set up.

Love the turbine HT, looks and feels amazing (I don’t mind the whistle)

I popped it on middle setting, popped in some Auto Kush and had a great experience. I thought there may be a learning curve, like the sticky brick but was fine.

Really really nice experience- top taste and I feel great 10/10

I'd feel remiss if someone didn't say it, Happy page 710 VXL EVO! Lets all do a quick concentrate to celebrate this thread milestone! Thanks SM55, all the team, and all us fans and supporters for keeping this dream alive!
 :peace:

Now bring on the portable announcement and take my money!!

Great post! Got me to thinking about the whole VXL journey that started 8+ years ago. For those who've been around since (or near) the beginning there are a lot of memories (some bad, mostly good) to be had from skimming over the pre-release Cloud thread, the post-release Cloud thread (which covered both the OG and the Plus), and then this thread for the Cloud EVO.

There are a lot of familiar names in the threads, many long-time veterans here at FC. I get a kick out of the occasional post on this thread by someone not seen in quite a while but who has nonetheless apparently still been sorta following the thread.

Btw, do newer owners know that the EVO actually is a Cloud?

It also caught my eye that, when this Cloud thread's 710 pages are added to that of its predecessor Cloud, the VXL Cloud has more pages - and replies and views - than any other vape here, including portables. That's quite a testament in itself.

So ... enough with the accolades, where the hell is my portable Cloud???

Welcome to the OFFICIAL VapeXhale Cloud EVO thread.

First of all, thanks to everyone that supported our Indiegogo campaign or have purchased past VapeXhale products. For those that don't know about our first vaporizer, the Cloud, here is a quick summary.

Launched in Feb of 2012, the VapeXhale Cloud was one of the first all glass air path vaporizers that could be used with HydraTubes or any other glass water tool that accepts a 18.8 joint. The VapeXhale Cloud was known for its thick, dense, and tasty vapor.

We had a rocky start but we were still able to not only win Best Vaporizer, but Best Product at Cannabis Cup. Based on our learnings, we were able to take all the best parts of the original Cloud and make a few improvements to its successor, the Cloud EVO:

1. More powerful heater. The Cloud already had one of the best heaters in the game but we wanted to add more power so that our unit would vaporize more optimally and efficiently. The heat retention is better and it heats up quicker

2. New, heat resistant enclosure. When the Cloud EVO is held by the lower half of the unit, it will never get too hot to hold. The upper portion of the Cloud EVO has cooling vents to dissipate air but is not meant to be the area where you hold the Cloud EVO. If you want to hold it by the top, we have VapeXhale wristbands that act as great heating buffer.

3. Backwards compatible with all existing Cloud HydraTubes.

4. Detachable power cable - I know this may not seem like a big deal but the Cloud EVO has excellent heat retention so you can vape for a couple of minutes with it disconnected and it makes it easier to pass around.

We are doing a slow rollout over the next few weeks as we have taken manufacturing in house and are working on a few things to increase assembly and efficiency. As I posted in the other thread, ALL OF US, including myself are all hands on in assembling, testing, packaging, and fulfilling orders. Please do not email our support desk asking when your unit is going to be shipped out as that is our #1 request currently and it does slow down production.

We do plan on getting all contributions and pre-orders by the end of the year and the more bandwidth we have to build, the quicker we can hit that goal. I look forward to everyone getting a Cloud EVO and reading all the reviews, positive, negative, and constructive.

If there is anything missing here, feel free to PM me and I will add additional information.

Addendum:
VapeXhale continues to have difficulty obtaining replacement parts for the original Cloud due to circumstances that are beyond our control and unlikely to change.

In an effort to support affected customers we are offering a discount towards the all new VapeXhale EVO to those who own an original Cloud and have purchased the VapeXhale Cloud through an authorized reseller.

The upgrade will include getting a new Cloud EVO which features:

1. New improved heater, stronger and more durable
2. Modular bamboo, repairs are much easier, faster, and cost effective
3. New One Year Warranty
4. Broader temperature range for flowers and concentrates

I know a few of you that have been around for a while may have heard this pitch before with the Cloud+ but this time, we do ALL THE MANUFACTURING and based on early feedback, this unit has none of the failure issues of previous models. If you are interested in an upgrade, just contact support@vapexhale.com

I’m sure someone has already posted this. But I thought I’d post incase.

To clean the ELB’s I’m finding the burn it off method to work the best.

I do this with the mighty screens. Get a butane torch and burn all the muck off. Then it’s clean.

I still brush it out but this removes the sticky.

I'll read it after I properly MEDICATE with my NEW EVO! (thank's @cilantro)

The strain in this jar (no way)
GSC is all I can handle.
The EVO is POWERFUL and the FLAVOR is enjoyable!

PINK or TAN? (maybe HOME CHEAPO 4 PURPLE)

DUTCH TREAT after GSC = EVO FLAVOR CITY

GSC very great, however this DUTCH TREAT is very POWERFUL!
LOVE hearing the WHISTLE that mean's it's clean!
Oh, and look...its not even painted! (just joking with you, my friend). I am very glad you have an EVO to use and @cilantro is indeed a very generous and kind individual.

I love the EVO and believe its proof that "elegance" in design = simplicity = a better product. To me, the EVO is demonstrates that a vape does not have to be a complex, algorithm driven, micro-processor based device in order to provide excellent and consistent extraction.

At it's most basic, a convection vaporizer just provides hot air to pass through a load of herb. The EVO does this in a very simplistic manner that delivers OUTSTANDING performance, great vapor quality, and in my experience it does so reliably.

LOVE my EVO and use it the most of all my devices.

To embed an image . . . are you ready? . . . copy/paste to your post. :D

That's one helluva cool setup you've got there!

@oldiebutgoodie thankyou sir, I thought I’d tried that but it just shows the link, but you’ve made it come up just fine!

I’ve got the Lynx & Nebula whip kit too, and an original Honeycomb for day to day, and the bomb hydrabase. I’ve also owned & smashed 3 Turbines (one precision) but the Triton is new to the collection and as of now I’m not buying any more glass! Cheers. :)

Just torch cleaned my ELB's with my triple torch lighter. Thanks @STOKED . I have tried gentler things like PBW, ISO and other solvents beforehand. But simply burning off anything that isn't metal worked great.

I found another little bonus tip for anyone with the original StickyBrick.

Use the glass mouthpiece that came with the sticky brick and turn it upside down, it will then fit on the evo for a dry mouthpiece.

Dry is a totally different experience

lazylathe

Almost there...
@ataxian

It has finally arrived!! My order of Forum Cut Girl Scout Cookies!!
My night cap tonight is a few ELB's in the EVO in tribute to you my friend!
Every time I have this strain it reminds me of you and how you fell in love with it after I said you should try some.
It's a beautiful strain with loads of flavor, vapor and effects!
Hitting it dry with the OG Cloud dry mouthpiece!

Have an awesome weekend!!

I really want to see a function video of that Triton.

It's sold out for now... How much was it going for?

Oh, and as for the Indegogo Swagger tube... Totally jealous! Does it fit full size ice cubes?

Anyone still have their original Indiegogo Swagger tube??
So glad i did not sell mine! Still in 100% perfect condition, even the decals!
