IMO you could save about half that much if you just went with the basics, but I'm sure it's a great kit.

Yes the Dnail wraparound is a bigger dish, though if you are trying to be more efficient with material it's probably better to stick with a smaller dish.

The FP could be very efficient with proper self control, though I find it extremely alluring

Just a quick add-on...
From what I've seen, NV doesn't have the D-Nail dish, so I'd have to get it direct from D-Nail...am I right?

It comes up to a total of 100$US or ~130$CAD...Is it really worth that much?

I'm guessing medium to big dabs slowly dropped in aren't out of the question with the standard WA and SiC dish ?

Sorry @SunnyHours I somehow missed my notifications on this thread! @invertedisdead is really the one to trust here though; I’ve read every post in the FlowerPot thread, but I only have the ShowerHead version myself and I use like 95% flower. I do have an interest in concentrates though, so I’ve still paid attention to other people’s experiences.

To give you a better idea of the standard WA size, I’ve heard that you can run a Q-Tip around it and just about get the whole thing in 1 pass. I’d think it would still be enough for what I would call a medium sized dab, but for large dabs, convenience or just an overall premium feel to the dish you may prefer the D-Nail.

Oh, and don’t forget you can put concentrates in the bowl on top of flower or whatever you can figure out to keep it from dripping through. A few people have used a stack of double-weave Ti screens for example.

If your goal is really to conserve concentrates though, maybe it’s better not to have the option of dropping a huge glob in. ;)

Personally I’d probably go the D-Nail WA route since the idea of playing with the different (expensive) dish materials appeals to me despite my micro-doses of concentrates, but I occasionally have significant disposable income right now...in your situation I’d probably go with the standard WA and be happy to know that SiC is still a very well regarded material whether it’s in the form of a $100 D-Nail fish or a smaller and slightly less polished TAG dish. :)

Whatever you choose I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Just remember to buy some extra screens, and maybe an extra bowl (14mm stubby for $20?) in case you want to use concentrates sometimes through a bowl with no flower residue. Many wouldn’t care, but some do.

I hope that helps, but like I said I think other members have you covered anyway. You’ll see their names all over the FP thread long before I started posting, and they’ve got more experience with concentrates. :)

Edit: Oh, also yes you would need to get the D-Nail dish separately if you went that route, and since we’re talking about micro-dosing, some people prefer the older bowls (such as the 14mm stubby I mentioned) with little basket screens for flower micro-doses, but you can use the other bowls for that too.

It’s pretty flexible and a lot of the differences in bowls/dishes/etc. are pretty minor tweaks to what is an overall solid system.

Well your medium and my medium could be completely different sizes, so it's hard to say. That said if I was going to dab anything bigger than "small" I would go for the D-nail for more surface area as it will allow lower temps and be easier to land the dab. I'd rather use the D-nail carb cap anyways.

I don't think big dabs will help save wax lol but rock on

@VaporWare @invertedisdead The piece is to adapt the WA to D-Nail dishes is 40$. So when I'll have the "extra" income I'll just get the 40$US Piece+shipping and the 60$US D-Nail dish+33$US shipping at that time...
I have a feeling I'll go flowers only for a little while just to make up the money hehe
Of course I'll probably get 1-2g of Concentrates just to try it out both Flowers and Shatter at the same time and to test it's efficiency with Concentrates too.

If only they can have some in stock...can't wait to purchase it...

You could even get the D-nail wraparound and run it without a dish until you have the money. Lots of options, either way I think you're gonna love it!

If you want to do dabs I would definitely choose sic over titatnium, that's just my taste preference though. The d-nail and tag/newvape ones both work really well, but I prefer the size/shape of the d-nail one.

Well...given the fact that I'm in Canada and NewVape doesn't stock the D-Nail dishes, it would cost me 100$US or 130$CAD just for the dish and I can barely afford the Bundle already...so it'll be an upgrade when I start working again and earn more. Maybe I won't feel like I need it too...who knows...

Just a quick Question about your Signature...
it says D-Nail SiC Halo w/ Sapphire insert...whic Sapphire insert do you have and how does it work (if you have the V1 insert? The V2 insert says they are only compatible with their Titanium Dish...
The V1 is just a flat disc (which looks weirdly placed, hence my question) while the V2 is more like a smaller dish.

The big news though is that NV have the Bundles back in stock, which means I had to pull the trigger!
Can't wait to receive it and have it in my hands to see the build quality and most importantly, try it out!!!

I have the v1 insert, unfortunately it doesn't work with the newvape base. At least it didn't when I had one, it needs the d-nail centerpost retained/nut:

You spread it on the insert and then drop it on the post. Wait a bit for it to bubble and then hit it. Some people don't cap it, I do once I start seeing vapor. I personally don't think I get quite as medicated, but the taste is better. It might just be in my head. I tend to use it to try new stuff I get then switch to sic on the rest. I'm hoping to get a sapphire halo someday, they're just so damn expensive and usually not in stock. Here's a short video just putting it on:

@StormyPinkness Because now they have one Sapphire insert that's dish shaped and fits in the D-Nail Titanium Halo only...maybe that'd be better?
I've been looking forward to trying that one, I'm waiting for a sale. I would need to buy a titanium dish off them too which adds another $40. Then I start thinking I'd almost rather just spend an extra $100+ and buy a sapphire halo instead...
