Best portable vape

hey everyone. I recently bought a flowerpot and want to go 100% non combustion but always smoke with friends due to them not having vaporizers. What portable vape would be somewhat on par with the flowerpot so i can vape while not at home and get me properly baked? Thanks

You just gotta get a Vapcap by Dynavap. There's a model for every budget. The all stainless steel M model is the basic model for $60. Then there is the titanium tipped NonaVonGs which can be used with or without watertools. They have a wood midsection, with the option of two lengths and range between $85 and $105. Finally there is the Omni with a choice of all titanium or titanium with a wood VonG midesction. Two lengths available with a price between $160 and $180. The Omni has an integrated mouthpiece/condenser that allows you to dial in your air restriction. Set it and forget it.

The Vapcap is tiny. It's the size of a cigarette. It emulates smoking and can be heated with just about any heat source such as a jet butane lighter, induction heater, campfire stick, soft flames such as candles, coal oil lamps, bic lighters, solar heaters etc.

The heat of your vapor herb chamber is determined by where you place your heat source on the cap which covers the chamber. When you reach toking temps -just a few seconds- you stop heating and toke. When the chamber cools below toking temps, the cap clicks again to let you know to apply heat for another cycle.I

The Vapcap is shockingly efficient and you will find yourself using less product for the same effect. It will pay for itself in short order.

Remarkable, simple, efficient. Brilliantly designed and arguably the most attractive vaporizer on the market. The modular components allows you to customize your Vapcap and has a LEGO appeal. These really are fantastic vapes. Everyone should have at least one.

After market artists make stunningly beautiful, functional art midsections. Checkout some of their work on their threads.

For me it's the Tubo. It uses temp control to give you vapor at the temp you want with no technique necessary. It's simple to use too, just load it and hold the button to hit it.

Is it at all awkward using it portable? Looks like it might be since the buttons towards the bottom and looks more built for water pipes
It's a little big for your pocket, definitely won't work with jeans.

I press the button with my ring finger, it fits pretty comfortably in my hand.

Huh... I'm just realizing I've never used it with my glass, I even bought the glass adapter...

Damn okay! I’d defiantly haveva backpaxk so no problem there just worried it wouldn’t be the best for walking/hitting at the same time whitch would be One of my main priorities

If you are looking for something very portable and stealth, with convection heat and replacable battery... give a look at the Fog. Or if you prefer conduction look at its brother the Starry V2. Manufacturer is X-Vape and you can find their vapes in a lot of shops (PIU in US and Vaposhop in EU). Be sure the Fog will be the latest version!

My actual favourite for portable purpose is the I-Heat but it's not easy to get since there is a wait list of several months. Although you can get something pretty similar in function if you give a look at the Project from Pipes which is a pretty inexpensive atty for dry herbs you can even build yourself. The Gen2 atty from Divine tribe is awesome too (and cheap) but conduction based.

My vote goes to the tubo ,truly a desktop performance with this one :)). I have a dynavap M and would not recommend it as an alternative for some who looks for a FP experience. IMO that one would be looking into dense clouds, unrestricted airflow and large bowl size :).
I recently tried the Grasshopper and was amazed by amount of vapor that can brings for its size, sadly they arent famous for being reliable so i cannot recommend it really :).

Man.... trust me, you need to get a Dynavap Omnivap XL.

I have a Herborizer TI as desktop at home and the Omnivap does the SAME extraction. Both perfect and strong :ko:

I have a Tubo evic also BUT is not a real "portable" imo. Trust me and you will do the right thing.

The guy said he needed something to vape while with friends that brings a desktop experience.
While not stealth i must say that TUBO is a TRUE portable,It can be carried around without the need of being plugged in . Anyway to each its own ,there is no perfect portable. The OP never mentioned the need for stealth,he just mentioned he want performance similar to FP. There are also plenty of on demand options to consider, Milaana ,mistvape touch , Iheat,Splinter .. etc..
Is the airflow on the XL and better than that of M and is the bowl bigger ? I dont follow the vapcap thread so excuse my ignorance. I can only speak for the M which while a cool vape ,it has too restricted airflow so i can compare it to a desktop and the bowl is tiny also. Another thing that should be taken in account with it is that it is a bit loud with the clicks and torch hissing + looks like you are heating your crackpipe ,torchflame is also hard to see in daylight and pain in the ass to vape in a windy environment.

Stealth isn’t a big priority it’s more so about becoming 100% vape. Whenever with friends I always end up smoking a joint or blunt because I don’t want to sit there and not smoke while they are so that’s the main want from it is being portable and able to be used while I am sitting around with friends. Also it doesn’t have to be like the flowerpot it’s just the only vape I have had and I’m worried others that aren’t as hard of hitters may not get me medicated as well!

Thinking the crafty and a vapcap together might be perfect as one would work out of bongs and fit in pocket and other would work out and about while walking around.
(Or crafty and tubo if I end up wanting to spend all the cash!)

Thanks everyone!!

I'd say a Mighty by Storz & Bickel somewhat comes close , Vapcap works ok also but annoying to have to keep reloading as it does not hold much at all. I can clear a packing in 1-2 hits with the Vc. The Mighty is simple to use , pack and puts out nice thick clouds with little effort for a portable.

Yeah bud your screwed! You've set the bar really high here. My votes also for the mighty, it's incredibly easy to use and very predictable vapour every time. It's a bit of a brick but this brick will give you 8 huge bowls before it needs a charge so it's great for groups and full day hikes. Vapcaps are crazy fun and I think everyone should have one in their arsenal. This could be just me but I find conduction style vapes to have too much of a sedative signature for my all day everyday needs and much prefer convection style for daytime medicating.

I'm enjoying this thread and my takeaway is that we need someone to release a new Mighty/Crafty combo that gets the exquisite flavor and clouds they're known for without the plastic construction, slow warmup and charging time, and high price tag.

I respect the reverence folks like Sneaky Pete and @ohmygodimsohigh have for their S&B portables and I trust that the hype is legitimate. It's still on them to improve their products beyond battery upgrades and software updates, that's all I'm saying.

Is the mighty not too big in size? Was thinking.l crafty due to size but battery life seems iffy

maxymods,

passenger

is this thing on?
Love the Mighty, but truly portable and reliable is any Dynavap. The M is great, but I prefer the Omnivap.
Whatever electrical device you decide to buy, I'd suggest to buy an Dynavap M as backup. Might become your daily driver...

Yes the mighty is big for portability.
fits in the back pocket of a pair of jeans but does not fit in the front pocket.
But the battery lasts twice as long and is more reliable

I have both and the mighty rarely leaves home

You want something portable similar to the flowerpot ?
Get a supreme v3.

It is best paired with a water piece but a whip works ok as well.

Tough it will not look fancy and you need a big jet torch to heat it quickly it hits you hard. + you can replace bowls fast (kinda like dosing caps, pre fill and put them in) which is nice as well

Just popping in my unwanted, ugly mug to echo an earlier suggestion of the Crafty. You can get one for just about your budget in CDN and it is far and away an outstanding vaporizer.

The taste is superb and it cools down the vapor so well. The form factor is also great, as are the dosing capsule which make loading on the go super easy. Although it doesn't have the best battery life or replaceable batteries, an external charging pack does make things go a lot longer ;)

My Mind Is Free
If you think about your needs here, you want it to be something you can take some rips while you hike/walk and something you can pass among friends, as you guys often pass a joint otherwise.

So that strips the vapcap, stickybrick, and probably the tubo. Those are more a personal vape and all will require you to either stop and vape or constantly give directions for your buddies. You want something you can just pack, turn it on, and pass it around when it is ready. So in this case, I say go for one of PPN's suggestions or go for the Mighty/Crafty with the big dollar purchase.
