I don't understand why you say its the Chinese version. The Puffco Peak is manufactured in China. Their all the chinese version. I hope there is only more competition even through clones for devices like the Peak and Switch. They are way more cost then they should be. We know the costs here. A portside costs no where near as much as a Switch but besides a light show and a neat glass piece there is not a big difference in the function of the heater. Sure, these devices have some unique algorithms to create some smart heating profiles, a light show and a piece of glass, but that does not make them worth 4x their cost.
I know nothing about the Peak....
Just saw this and thought I would share.
If the Puffco Peak is made I China in the same factory, then they are a Huge rip off!!
The ones I linked are around $15 each, you have to buy 10 at a time though.
So if these have the same QC as the puffco ones, then that is a good thing to have competitors! Until that is proven by someone buying one, we are all in the dark.
