So many hex alerts, so much banger talk.

Ill admit that design looks nice, Id still give Errl the nod for first quartz enail setup though by years. Also there is no need to remove the coil from the AH quartz bangers when they cool. Pricing like that is definitely one of the reasons Im inherently anti quartz.

That's a beast!
Thanks man. Biggest banger I ever had , it’s a galaxy 35mm and a galaxy coil. Figured it would be nice to have along side my dnail Sic halo . Now time to search for some inserts to try out but no one makes them this big. Closest I found was 25mm so I grabbed a few to try but they will most likely be to small .

Or even the Sic Halo itself would prolly fit.

@alittledabwilldoya' that would prob work , may be to thick though and they are pricey. To much for my liking to try for a insert. I kinda like it without the insert right now but do want to try one out. @ensabbahnur that could do and I do own 1, I’ll give it a try someday although I kinda like it on my flowepot. Good idea

Hey guys. I'm so sorry about the lack of an update recently.

I've been getting one together and planned to post it over the weekend but Liz & I ended up getting stuck on the side of a cliff with a tree in our door after a bit of a close call on Mt. Hood. We had to sleep in the car overnight Saturday and then hike about 4 miles to find help after the sun came up Sunday morning. I'm basically just waking up after being asleep since we got home and I've got a doctor's appointment in about an hour. I'm pretty sure I tore something in my knee.

I'll be posting an update on the blog today with more update info today but... here's a short bit of good news: the first round of replacement temp sensors are in and there's few units on the burn in table as of last night. Thank Liz for that tbh I have no idea how she managed to solder after we got home.

This will delay a few shipments for a day but I promise they will be out tomorrow. It's been a really weird weekend.

Most important, I'm glad you guys are both safe. That sounds like a scary weekend.

Blog post with a lot of updates is finally up. Website has seen some significant updates that I've been working on for awhile.

Can't say much else as I have a TON of shipping & unit testing to catch up on today. Ended up with 3 appointments for doctors between the 2 of us yesterday and it was just a nightmare.

Oh, but I did want to let folks know that if you have any tuning improvements or custom tunings for equipment we don't have on our list you think are good enough to implement you can now submit that info for us to take more of a look at here: tunings@globmode.com :)

My Red Queen showed up today!

Just going through the set-up now, and I hit a bit of a snag I couldn't find any information on in the last few pages.

I managed to get the device connected, it's definitely communicating and displaying the correct light (ie coil on/off), but neither of my coils are heating up. The RQ display just stays around 100-104 degrees and doesn't seem to provide power to the coil(?).

Any ideas of advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you all!

That’s great to see you’re officially taking orders for the HN-01 again. I e-mailed you guys a few weeks back about converting my order to an HN-01 and haven’t heard anything back. Just sent a follow up now to see if I could get it switched. Would really appreciate it if I could have that done. Thanks! Really looking forward to seeing it in the future.

So, my entire Hex army is down

HN01 that has been limping along with the known corruption "bug" for months is tapped out, received a replacement memory card (thanks Hex ladies) but in order to swap it out I have to somehow unglue an internal power supply secured in 3 places with with hot glue, around extremely cramped wiring and components in order to even start to unglue the existing card. I thought this would be a breeze, guess I go back to waiting for the magical update thats been in the final stages since last year?

HN02, changed my Airport Extreme with a very popular Nighthawk model (default firmware) and now I can no longer login, see status or otherwise control the enail in anyway beyond the physical power switch. The Queen still claims to connect and the router sees it, although the Queen fails to provide its network name to the router(prolly a bad sign). The router is fully updated and the Queen hasn't worked with default or any other logical setting change, all devices now fail to login and all devices are on the same subnet. It doesn't seem to me that it should be this network service intensive, I mean all the generic ass rando chinese smart devices I play with never have any of these type of caveats. Also now that Im thinking about it, my HN01 connected to this same model, although not this lexact same unit, through the original web app with zero issues many many times in the past.

I had to go back to my HN01. If mine glitches out, I’ll be where you are. :( Hoping they get things sorted before that happens.

Which setting was it? the only thing i see close is under the 2.4 wireless, the speed setting has 3 tiers, 54, 200 something and 600, so i set it to 54 guessing thats b only mode? didn't seem to change anything though, maybe its a different setting?
