Why "420" code cannot be used for accessories???
Why no free shipping???
$8.75 a bit costly for a mouthpiece.....

You think that's bad, I just went to buy but postage to Australia was US$26, not as bad as PIU, US$48.50. HealthyRips only charge US$15, so why is everyone else so expensive. I almost purchased a Flowerpot kit last night but freight cost was nearly US$110!

Wow £40 postage charge to the UK for a £10 mouthpiece that's crazy is there anyway to buy them in the UK as my v3 top cap has cracked at the top. I just couldn' pay this price as the unit itself is cracking apart around the usual places and won' last much longer

I agree with the previous comments, shippings costs are too expensive and kill the deal.

I bought mine some months ago directly from heavengift (Dhgate seller): https://www.heavengifts.com/product/Vivant-Alternate-Top-Cap.html
Cost me 12$ if i remember well or less !!

How did you find that? I typed in Vivant Alternate into Dhgate and got 0 matches.

Hallo together!!!

First i love the alternate!

BUT yesterday i had a bad experience with it.
Now I wish that the alternate's heating channel was removeable to clean it completely!!!
By the way that would be great for the alternate 2!
A heating channel with contacts instead of cables, switchable like an battery pack!
That's what it needs!!!
Vivant!, please pay me for this idea!!!

Why?!

I need $ for a new alternate!
Can't use mine anymore because I vaped plastic from Vivant's Alternate Grinder!!!

One of this two small round rods inside the top of the grinder broke and fell into my grinded material!
I did not realize that and vaped it with the bowl!
Now my alternate and my pipe/chillum/wpa are smelling like braised plastic because the small rod was melting.
Now, after 3 full batteries for burn offs and cleaning the chamber and changing screens, the smell isn't going away.

I don't know what to do!?!?!?
Is this a warranty case???

Please help me!!!
What would you do?
I can't vape my precious goodies with this plastic taste.
No way!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Help me need my medicinal vape!!!:/

YaMon!, no I didn't.
I have it from PlanetVape and will write them....
They are really great and they replaced me a cracked v3 topcap really fast!
PV has an great service!
I don't know if they can help me in this case but I hope so.
I think it wasn't my mistake to trust in Vivant's Grinder.

So, i'm interested on this portable but every source I check about battery tells one thing, have read from 20 minutes, 30 - 40, 40-50min, how long your battery lasts? still using the original? thanks

Depends how you use it, best way to extend battery life is once you get it up to temp. don't let it drop and keep hittin it. I don't use mine anymore but kept 4 batteries charged for backup. The 18650 is why I bought the alternate. I'd say 3-4 session's from cold start with 2-3 reheats each session if keeping the temp. up.
I don't measure by bowls cuz that can vary from one person to the next

Your’re going to vape for 50 mins straight, damn bro, that’s hardcore! The reason to buy a vape with swappable batteries is so you never run out of juice. The Alternate is not a battery whore. If I am going out and do not want to take a spare battery, I make sure I put a fresh one in. If I am going out and know it’s going to get hit hard I bring a spare 18650. I have my Alternate in Jamaica and when I go I have an external V2 charger and 4 batteries as I use the Alternate all day long there. I am not disappointed in the battery life. For the money it’s hard to beat the Alternate, I just hope @Vivant comes out with an Alternate V2 made with higher grade materials. Respect! -YaMon

hello folks. so I own the fenix for a few months and it's an alright vape, quite a step up from my ishred. But I can get the alternate for pretty cheap, locally. I'm tempted, but the critical question is this:

Is it worth the upgrade, exclusively in terms of performance? I will not take into account the replaceable battery, cooler vapor, more/less taste/clouds, charging/use time, initial heat up speed, etc. I do not care or I can fix those in fenix, I do not have it long enough to justify another purchase just for those. I'm only interested in sheer performance. Can the alternate provide a fuller head with the same amount of material?

Durability is the only additional factor I'll consider. I noticed, here and there, reports of cracking shell. Are those resolved by now?

Just use the Fenix.....I had one before it totally died.....and used it daily.....I love my Alternate too but Im not sure its a huge upgrade.......I like the taste better with the Alternate and find it less harsh......

Performance wise.....Alternate uses less and is pretty efficient....I also have the Air and the Solo II and those are really efficient IMHO.....but the Alternate is no slouch.

I dont know....durability is always going to be a issue with this version of the Alternate Im afraid.....love the design.....wish they used better plastic.....they still crack above the battery.....and even tho I have the v3 cap....I usually just use the Alternate now with WPA....

Hope this helps

the crack in the alternate is just a esthetic damage or it affect the function of the device too ?

thanks in advance
