This is called Silver Tip. Originated in Montana is what I hear. It’s a cross between Super Silver Haze and Granddaddy Purple so it has wonderful lineage. It’s been a fave of mine for a while. I can only find it at 2 stores in my area. It’s from a producer called Raven Grass. It’s a strain I don’t like to run out of. It’s good for medicinal as well as rec. Usually the THC is around 25mg. It feel like it too.

This weekend was my first time trying Jungle Boys flowers, and I'm impressed. The flavor and scent is outrageous, the high is nice, and the flowers definitely have a lot of bag appeal. The cure and trimming is also excellent across the board.

The Sundae Driver #19 (Fruity Pebbles OG x Grape Pie) has fairly popcorn sized nugs but smells intensely like the sugar at the bottom of a box of Crunch Berries. I opted for this over the #10 pheno which had bigger nugs but a less intensely fruity scent; the tender said this phenotype tends more towards its Grape Pie genetics than the #10, which makes sense from the smell. The flavor is sweet like the smell, and the high is euphoric with a nice body component. The high is the most balanced hybrid of the three strains I got, almost like GSC.

The Wedding Cake (Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) has the most traditional Kush aroma of the three strains I got. The flavor is more sweet than the nose implies, with a hit of sweet tropical flavor (cantaloupe?) backed up by more traditional piney, gassy, and citrusy notes. I'm not sure I'd say it's "cake" flavor personally, maybe a bit creamy, but it is nonetheless tasty. The high is a bit more body heavy than the SD19, with the mental effects tending more towards calm than euphoria. Reminds me of Gelato somewhat.

The Purple Punch (Larry OG x GDP) scent is very traditional "purple" with a heavy sweet grape component. This is probably the prettiest looking bud of the three with its hints of purple. The flavor is also the most complex with that grape flavor complemented by some grapefruit, lemon zest, and lavender. The stone is heavy, definitely the heaviest indica of the three with some decent couch lock, muscle relaxation, and perceptible intraocular pressure relief.

All three of these are classified as hybrids by the Jungle Boys, and I'd love to get my hands on a full Indica by them sometime especially after trying the Purple Punch.

A little higher quality picture of the strawnana berry I posted a couple of pages back. Taken in sunlight.

Wow, nice. I've never had any banana strain and prob not any strawberry either.
Banana ?? I always thought it made reference to banana flavor but then heard an alt version, that banana
really referred to the shape of the buds, not flavor.
Do you know?
Banana flavor was kind of a negative for me, so very interested if it's not flavor.

@psychonaut , with that nice of buds and I'd assume great taste, do you ever just tweezer off
a few small calyxes (so minimal trichs disturbed) and then vape at really low temp, like 340 start?
Temp step up, of course, as it goes on.
With a really good quality convection vape and a mostly direct glass vapor path?

Try it and compare it to a dab of your finest and report back... I'm extremely curious as to
differences or similarities of the taste/flavor/ vapor quality/ etc. Thanks.

@MinnBobber it sort of has that smell of the dole strawberry banana juice though masked with the usual skunk suspects and such. I have only vaporized a small sample of this herb and it was very dry at the time. I'll have to try some hand torn and see. With my vaporizer I actually get the most intense flavor by using higher temps convection with really small loads like 0.05gr. It makes for a long session to get to 0.3gr which is my medical dose with most strains. Most of my buds look like tops and range in the 0.3-1.5gr range, none of them really had the shape of a banana except for one that was more like a fat cashew shape.

There is a pretty strong berry flavor in this herb, the banana I think is not very prominent, I think maybe psychologically I am picking up on banana maybe as the flower gets closer to ABV state. I've had some that flowers taste like shrimp when it went to ABV (I want to say the mango type strains did that) and this one sort of tastes like banana when it goes to ABV. All in my head? Maybe! I'm excited to squish it as it's more of a medicore medicine on it's own.

I bought out all they had at the caregiver. This one is one of my favorites and while these look like pebbles, they are actually asteroids.

Keep Tahoe Blue (Tahoe OG x Blue Dream) - the rosin it makes tastes like blueberry cleaner, with the cleaner being the prominent flavor. Nice daytime meds.

These two strains were my last pickup, I really enjoyed the Faberge OG between these two.

Faberge OG:
5uTgUMj.jpg

Bred and grown by Russian Assassin Boyz
Genetics: Superdank OG x Grape Gusher x Monster Cookies
I/H/S: H
Purchased at Super Clinik
Paid: $11/g
Aroma: Lemon zest, gas, pine, coffee
Taste: Lemon, hops, wood, earth, sweet spice
High: Spacey, relaxing, and fairly heavy -- starts behind the eyes after a few moments and spreads to the rest of the body after a little bit, delivering nice pain relief. Very enjoyable indica dominant hybrid effect but not too heavy for daytime use thanks to the euphoric and cerebral headspace.
Overall: Fairly dense, chunky, and nicely sticky buds. Trimming looks nice. It grinds up easily in my grinder and vapes smoothly in the Vapcap. The high is enjoyably heavy but not disabling. I like the taste, a nice combination of old school OG and exotic flavors. I will definitely try some more stuff by this grower at this price and quality.

MAC:
TyGww0Y.jpg

Bred by Capulator
Grown by CannaSavvy
Genetics: Alien Cookies x (Columbian x Starfighter)
I/H/S: I
Purchased at Super Clinik
Paid: $11/g
Aroma: Orange juice, lemon cleaner, undertones of grape sweetness -- together it's almost like Trix cereal
Taste: Citrus dominant with herbaceous and berry undertones
High: Serious indica, one of the heaviest I have had in a while. Very relaxing and sedating, I could feel my eyes get low after the first hit on the Vapcap. After the whole bowl I was ready to melt into a couch. Mellow, calm, and relaxing headspace. Good for the end of the day, wouldn't use it if I had something to do!
Overall: Dense cookies-like nug structure dotted with flecks of purple. Nice coating of resin too, it's definitely got bag appeal. The cure is good, as is the trimming--it grinds and vapes very smoothly. Overall, I like the quality of the product and will try some more by this grower.

To say I'm jealous would be a huge understatement.
I don't take it for granted, moving out to Cali from an illegal state was a great move for me. To go from being dry for 6+ months after my dealer moved away to being able to get this stuff easily was a revelation. The joy of being young and rootless!

Very nice looking, both samples. But I do understand that these Russian Assassin Boyz do grow some pretty fire stuff. I'm east coast, but even here I have heard of them.

I tend to break buds with my fingers and put the bits straight into my stems but the change in weather is keeping my buds a little moist recently so I figured a little grind was in order.

GDP along side something unknown (sometimes my source knows the names, sometimes he doesn't). The light green bud tastes super lemon lime, like a lollipop sometimes.

Got some lovely selections to choose from currently! For flowers, LA Confidential, Deathstar, Pink Candy Kush, Warlock CBD, and Cannatonic. And some lovely Hawaiian Haze, and Purple God shatter that is a tasty treat, although Ive stopped using the shatters so frequently as of late as the way I was using them was excessive.

Going to hopefully get some Ghost Train Haze and Sour Diesel on Friday to even out the sativa/indica numbers a bit haha!

I almost bought MAC seeds from CAP once but i wont be able to grow yet not until 3-4 years from now so i passed. Does the price of the gram reflect taxes? Looks like i need to visit the superclinc

Yes indeed. They do 5g for $55 and have tax free flowers all day on Tuesday and after 8pm everyday.

Baked-not-fried

riding the Cannabreak train...
3/4 oz Frosty Lemonade
3/4 oz G-13 Hash Plant
and maybe 1/4 oz Blue Zkittlez

The FL is kosher for daytime, but lazier. The G-13 HP is my nighttime right now. Couple small OG Air loads through some cheap glass and I'm all over my big comfy chair, dozing off to some shitty B Sci-Fi flick. And the BZ is a do shit during the day strain, for me. I just polished off my first round of G13 and am primed for round two. Gonna watch some new(Netflix new) episodes of The Flash.

Hi guys - still trying to hone my macro photo skills....little better but still not in @I'm Ron Burgundy? territory (I don't know how the f*ck he does it on an iPhone...must be because his is an 8 and mine a six...couldn't possibly be because he's more talented than I! hahahaha). Also, I used the macro mode on the Camera+ app I have and did not use the external macro lens as I have in the past...but I should have.

So, MD MMJ program is progressing and we are seeing some higher quality growers distinguish themselves a bit from the herd. This one is from Gleaf and its Pineapple Skunk, 27% THC total. I bought a 1/4 of it and liked it so much I went to get more. By the by, this is one of the few strains where I actually taste what its named. Really did have a hint of pineapple on the finish.

So, MD is now allowing "deli style" sales where the MJ is in bulk and they weight for you right there. Most folks are still using pre-packaged and some deli style, but one dispensary is buying bulk and packing their own and that's where I got the Pineapple Skunk.

What they are also doing with this model is when they get some herb in with some really big colas they are packaging them up in mason jars of 1/2 oz each and selling them as "Big Buds" for the same price and I bought one!! LOL For the curious, this 1/2 cost me $170. Not near as cheap as many other places in the country but not bad for MD where the prices are continuing to go down a bit (well, 'trates are still a rip off but if you don't require top shelf, you can get some $60/65 qtrs).

Some pics...better but not good enough (tried to use an old Nikon Coolpix with macro mode but its older camera and completely useless for macros).

The jar...one of these colas is damn near 4" long
