Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

My XL browns pretty evenly. I take huuuuge rips and that would make the heat rise more through the load.
There are some that mentioned an average flavor with the fury2, common mistake is the heat is too high. You don't need high temps for this little guy to blow clouds.

When I first got it I started vaping at 390F. Now I'm backing off on temp to see how much heat I really need to get clouds and flavor. It is def less than 390. However, I need to be careful because vaping herb at too low a temp gives great flavor but the effects can be too heady for me, but that's with any vape.

On the xl wpa I also get even browning no problem. If you're not, one thing I would check is that your not using a wpa with a screen in the fury chamber. I had a screen in there when using the original mp and noticed that if you try to use the bubbler or the wpa with a screen in there the glass does not go to the bottom of the chamber. Once I pulled the screen then the glass seats properly in the chamber and the roast is uniform.

I took this little guy with me on the town last night and it did its job 110%. I would rather have a little less battery in exchange for the stealthiness. I was able to walk down the street with other people and hit it and no one even knew it. It cups in your hand and when you hit it, it doesn't draw any attention at all. Plus the hits were huge.

For me, all the other attachments are for fun. If the bubbler isn't perfect that's ok, this little SOB was purchased to vape discreetly and effectively and it does that better than any other portable I've used. I love it..

Just received and tried the bent mouthpiece! @HealthyRips.com you really knocked it out of the park with this one! I think this is my favorite glass piece from you guys. Taste plus coolness all the way.

Usually I am a gradual temp-stepper, starting really low depending on the material. This time I loaded up the bent stem, turned it on-- and realized with alarm that it was still at my last temp setting of 380 from finishing my last bowl. Oh no, I thought I had lost all that low-temp flavor, and immediately turned it down to 344. OMG, that was one of the best hits I ever had! All the flavor was there, but even more so! Wow, I accidentally discovered a new favorite way to use this lil critter! I love it!

Now, the bubbler I am having issues with. It is so loose that it spins around when I pick up the vape, so not very stable. Also, while trying to clean out some gunk stuck in the holes in the glass screen thingy, it seems a couple of the holes must have broken, as there is now a relatively large opening in the glass screen area, along with the holes that survived. I used a very small paper clip and a safety pin to carefully poke in the holes, and was surprised that the glass was so fragile it couldn't survive a routine cleaning between bowls. It may be a function of producing such a delicate design on such a small scale. @HealthyRips.com, would you consider this piece substandard enough to replace?

Also, I can't seem to figure out how or where to use the bowl-shaped screens. I guess I expected them to be much smaller. They are too large for the chamber without having to force them down, making them hard to remove. I tried just putting one screen loosely over the top of the chamber with a little material in it, but it was too far from the heater to produce vapor. And the edges of the screen got caught on the silicone rim of the mouthpiece. What's a vaporista to do?

I don't know if I am understanding what you're describing.

To insert the bowl shaped screen it is my belief that you center it over the top of the chamber, then take the back of a pen or the fat end of a chopstick and push that screen down into the chamber so that the screen touches the bottom and hugs the walls of the chamber. You want it to seat and stay put unless you need to fish it out. I don't think the screen should block the majority of the chamber from filling with herb.

Now I also hear some folks are putting a second screen over the herb to keep bits out of the silicone lined screen on the mp. I haven't tried it yet, but until those dosing caps are available, folks will tinker because that's what stoners do. :D

Hi @OyVape, No worries - if your bubbler has a defective glass screen - please contact us for a replacement: healthyrips@gmail.com.

For the domed screens - this is the correct answer:

Over the weekend I ordered a Fury 2 direct from Healthy Rips; waiting for its arrival is torturous, for the record.

This will be my first experience with a temperature control vape. Thus far, I've only used the MFLB and the Stick Brick. With both, you can only draw effectively when the herb is being heated, and you remove that direct heat when you've had as deep a draw as you can manage. Otherwise you risk wasting the vapor or combusting the herb entirely.

How do things work with a device like the Fury? When you're not taking a pull are you wasting vapor? Or are things more or less airtight when you aren't actively using the mouthpiece?

(Apologies if this makes less sense than it should. I have no complaints at all about the performance of my Sticky Brick, and tonight is a good testament as to why....)

@Bookfellow . Congrats on the new purchase. You will definitely enjoy the no fuss angle of this vape vs. the ones you currently own. It’s very relaxing to vape one handed!

Your current vapes are on-demand while the Fury 2 is, in general terms, a session vape.
It takes about 25 seconds to heat up, and then it stays on for 4 minutes unless you manually turn it off.
If you use the WPA as a mouthpiece, you can pull out the stem after a hit, which will stop the herb from cooking. But the heater either stays on and drains battery, or you turn off and go through heat up process the next time you want a hit.

Does that help or did I misunderstand what you were asking?

Hee hee hee das true.

Does anyone know if the mouthpiece chamber is reclaim. My friend tried licking hers and she looked like a jackwagon doing it but im not sure if there was an effect. I'm gonna open my mouthpiece later this week to clean it but if its good stuff I would like to harvest it.

Also if anyone is looking for a nice sturdy case to take with you (if you go hiking, canoeing, swimming, climbing or to protect it from farts) this is pretty good: https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-C...1524025515&sr=8-3&keywords=pelican+case+small
I can fit 3 of those aluminum/metal nitroglycerin pill holders if i tie em together with a rubber band and my F2 in there. All the specs are in the link but its basically your standard mini pelican case for electronics (ip67, airtight, crushproof pressure equalized etc).

That does indeed help! I'm just trying to figure out how best to structure. It seems like the best way to continue as I have been is to be turning the Fury on and off as I use it.

How do most folk use it? Draw after draw in rapid succession? Or slower, more considered hits?

I believe it was said before but you can save herb by using the wpa or glass mp and removing when done with your draw. I typically hit it like my grasshopper; steady draw until almost full and then turn off. I continue drawing for a few seconds with the wpa still in the bowl to get last of vapor. I “think” his reduces heat in the wpa kind of stopping any potential conduction. After I am absolutely done with breath I remove the wpa.

This method seems to extend my sessions. It also makes them more pleasurable from the aspect that A) I’m not worried about cooking my herb, B) don’t have to take a back to back hit I might not be lung-ready for, and most importantly C) mitigates any issue with the 4 minute timeout.

I’m not the first to recommend this but wanted to detail again for new users. Sooooo awesome to see the Fury crowd growing! I love that this can be a micro-doser-one-hitter for just me and a slow enjoyable session vape for friends. This ticks so many boxes for me, love my favorite VAS team player more than any other recent addition. Keep calm and Fury on!

Really enjoying our new Fury 2 so far but have been having an issue with herb flying out of the WPA when the vaporizer is taken off after a pull. It's especially likely to happen when the load is mostly spent and has gotten dryer/lighter. Any tips to avoid this?

@Spelaeus Just turn fury upside down when removing stem.

I should note that this is while using the WPA with a water pipe so it is upside down during use. I think what's happening is that I'll lift the vape off the WPA to clear the water pipe, then when I stop pulling and the water returns to normal levels it causes a slight puff of air which launches the load once it's dry and light. Water pipe is a D020-d.

See my question above..... You're dealing with the blow back from the water piece. Lift the fury/wpa off as one piece to clear it.

Depending on the glass, I'll go as far as not returning the set to the glass until I've started another draw to avoid watching a little vapor push out the back of the fury, waste not-want not!

My Fury 2 lifts right off the WPA when it's warm, I assumed that was by design. Should it not?

Even though the Fury can easily lift off the wpa, I would not use it that way between each draw. The fact that some herb will fly out is more about physics than a fault of the Fury. When the wpa is in your bubbler a seal is created. It's almost like putting your finger on the bottom of the wpa first. The air won't rush in the bottom the wpa to balance the pressure so you get a suction created between the gong and the Fury.

After taking your hit, grab the wpa from the side and lift both it and the Fury as a way to clear the bubbler. If you wish to take a break and not overheat your herb, you can then remove the Fury after removing the gong. You won't get the blow back because air can enter the other end of the wpa more easily. I also then use the Fury as a brief wpa holder and set the wpa in the Fury with the bowl end facing up.

Another thing you can do, which I use with a couple vapes and highly recommend, is the use of a carbed adapter. The one I bought is from thickassglass.com and they are only about $8. Very handy because all you need to do to clear your hit is pull out the little 10mm plug. You don't need to move the Fury or the wpa at all until you're done. And it's actually a lot of fun!

On their website it's found under: Adapter For Vaporizers with 10MM Carb

They sell both 14 and 18mm sizes. :peace:

Kinda mad at my Fury 2 - Every year at 4/20 I look forward to all the sales and buying a new vape on sale to get something better. Sadly, this year, everything I look at buying would take a back seat to my Fury 2 ! I can't find anything to buy that would be better or suit my needs better.

Still working on a custom fix for the WPA adaptor but lately I have be getting by with standard mouthpeice. Kinda funny, but I take a drink of water and leave a bit in my mouth and then bubble the incoming vapor through the water in my mouth. Like an in mouth bubbler - Kinda weird, but it works. Peace

My Fury was supposed to arrive tomorrow...instead it was delivered yesterday, and I gave it my first trial run last night. Very pleased with the results, to say the least, although the particular strain that I'm using thus month seems to have a somewhat delayed effect. I made the mistake of thinking that it wasn't really working, until between one moment and the next it very much was.

Going to stat experimenting with different temperatures over the next few days -- last night I ran the gamut, from lowest to highest -- and see what has the best effect for me.

One question, though: I've used a pollen press to make some hash, which was a little difficult to use with my Sticky Brick. What's the best way to use it with the Fury? Sandwich tiny bits between layers of herb, or use the concentrate pad? I'm going to be getting some ungummed hemp from Puffitup in a week or two (by the way, will they have the capsules when they become available?) and using tat when I want to Vale the hash, but I'm wondering about my best option in the meantime.

Thanks again, everyone, for all the advice! It's deeply appreciated!

Idk about best way, but If the hash you're making is sprinklable (thats not a word), I just make a sandwich by putting down the first layer, breaking up and sprinkling the hash on top, and covering it with another layer of herb. Does the job well for me, feel free to chime in if anyone has a good way. If your hash is sticky I just do the same thing just skipping the step where I break it up and sprinkle it, and instead just break off a tiny piece and sandwich it with herb.

I’ve used organic Japanese cotton before with a number of substances and varying results. I’ve had the best results with straight shatter/wax and high temp in my little cotton ball. With hash it works, but sometimes it doesn’t seem to be fully extracted. I take the cotton out when clouds diminish and just open/close the little ball and get the last few rips. In essence, this is kinda like stirring I guess. Kief works similarly but even less thoroughly extracted and requires more attention to fully extract, but I like to taste it so I’m at lower temps.

Anyway not ideal or better than a sandwich, but I am super anal about keeping ovens free of debris after some of my hopper experiences. Probably don’t need to worry as much with my Fury! I even will put the little concentrate pad under the cotton sometimes if I’m anxious and not yet relaxed/ medicated lol. Overkill probably, but I love this little guy and want it to last forever. Keep calm and fury on!

SSV w/ Standard HC, LSV HC, thermovape all,
Got a fury 2 i really like it , only problem is the glass holes on the WPA adapter are so small i cannot get a hit even if i only put a tiny amount . i think would prefer a basket screen. other wise as a portable i really enjoy this vape. also just my opinion but a magnet to attach the mouthpiece might be cool

Sometimes I hate Vapcap... :rant:Especially in the morning, when the system is clean and the bake is best. :luv:
Cause I like vaping herb in the Vapcap so much that one bowl is not enough.
But it really is... :ko: :p And more postpones everything I have to do for the day... It already does actually... Thanks George...:ugh::p:lol:

Haha, it hit you so well that you posted in the wrong thread, my dear!:clap::tup:
