...any news on shpping via amazon.de or german warehouse?

The last posts look so good, would be nice to be able to get a kit without the customs hassle....

Have a great day!

If Roger said they were working on it, you can take that to the bank! I assume they are still working out logistics. Worldwide coordination on this is gonna take some time in the beginning I imagine. When they ship product to Amazon warehouse, it takes almost a month to reach there by boat.

BTW, the customs description for my box shipped in from Shenzen, China was "plates for heat press". Very unassuming and legitimate. It can be used to extract essential oils for aromatherapy. The box is also virtually unmarked, no description of "rosin" or anything that would trigger a flat out denial, but I don't know how your customs are in Europe.

I can understand wanting to wait, but with DHL worldwide express shipping it goes through customs a lot better over here in the US than through USPS. Generally DHL does all the customs and clearing customs takes less than a day whereas in USPS through the customs it can take a day or up to a week or more.

I'm going to stock products in UK or EU in the future. I will post news once we made.
Thank you

I made a little squish tonight with my step-son. I really liked the Sage N Sour rosin I made on my last effort, but it was horrible yield, only like 5% using a horizontal bag build. I decided it was time for her redemption. I had 7 grams of select tops to run through the plates. Better yields this time, 14% at 185F for 2 1/2 minutes. The resulting rosin had a lovely sour fuel flavor, the sweetness I remember from my last press wasn't present. I'll have to try it again when my senses aren't overwhelmed by the pressing aromas. Overall, this one is not going to be on my list of cultivars to squish, at least not from my caregiver.

I pressed 7g total today, both yields were very close, 23/24%, same method, same amount, same cultivar. One was with done with a pre-press mold and the other was just hand packed. I couldn't tell a difference in the end product, both are fire sap. I ran the nugs through a 90u filter (I believe that's what it is). As you can see with the right pressure, she weeps golden dabs!

I hope all you dabpress squishers are having a rosin filled weekend!

Looks like you are getting that technique really dialed in, nice.

? On that run, was approx 2.8 ton pressure your max pressure?

Thanks, it's a good technique that's working well. Thanks for all those who figured this stuff out!. Yes but only for the last couple of seconds, it ramped up slowly to 2.5 tons for the majority of the press. I tried to show periodic gauge readings. You noticed once it hit about 2 tons of pressure it was literally oozing.

Yes, I'm hoping to explore the limits of low pressure/ low temp when I get mine. It would seem that might yield the best quality rosin with max terps, etc.
Leave the high pressure/high temp squishes to the production folks. Like to see what best combo will be for small personal squishes----and if it leaves a little in the puck, so be it----edibles or vape the puck I say :)

I really wonder how much could be left in that puck, that's about the most pressure I've done. I am too high to do the calculations, but the puck size was about 1 5/8" round. If I could hit these yields every squish I would feel like I won the lottery! This is a cultivar that seems to be working well for the patients, so I am hoping it will stick around. It's GSC x TRUTH (jamacian landrace) so I think it has some island goodies. Really nice sativa.

@psychonaut great squish

Dosidos, Kush Wreck, Double Tangie Banana.

The double tangie yielded horrible (like 10%) but tastes amazing. I ground the puck up and vaped it and didn't feel much of a stone from it so IDK. The rosin has a great head change.

Thanks @mixchu69 and @invertedisdead

I wish mine looked as good as @invertedisdead ! My recent material is fairly mature at this point, nearly 3 months old from dispensary, and who knows how long it was cured from there. I am hoping to have some fresher material to run in the next month or so.

It's funny how those low yielders end up giving some really good rosin. I will still buy the sage n sour and vape it for flowers  I am making a list of good yielders with the best medicine, So far it seems there is a nice variety out there that are 20% yielders are lower temps, so rollin' the dice ain't so bad!

I have some special tangerines that are hydrating a bit in the jar, they dont look too frosty, I just hope they don't end up like the sage n sour !

Your rosin looks great! The cured stuff is potent man, there's a trend right now for fresh flavors, and these were fresh cause I needed something to puff on asap lol, but I'm definitely a fan of both fresh and cured. If one was to grow the same cultivars I bet you could mix a fresh and cured rosin for a total mama slapper!

Yeah, the double tangie was a low yielder but the rosin is really enjoyable. Although I figure that's still maybe a better yield than some people who hash before pressing rosin, so I'm content. Of course, it would be nice if everything was in the 25% range! :D

The KushWreck yielded 22% in a bottle tech bag I pressed, and then I squished some for a friend naked nug style and hit 25%. The 7 gram bottle tech bag was a challenge in the 3x5 caged set though. Seems like it's best set up for 3.5g bags due to the relatively low height between the plates. Also I pressed some KushWreck flower for an experiment at 150F for 5 minutes. I should have weighed it, seemed like it yielded a bit less but talk about quality, instant budder just like when pressing hash. Also squished 6 grams of kushwreck trim bin kief, haha - dabbed a few friends out with this, so much gas, a total terp murder. Made my homie a terp sandwich with some of the sift rosin dipped in some of the flower rosin :freak: :whoa:

Been using the magnetic jig a bit. It's kinda neat, but I don't really like how hot it gets - makes it a little tricky to remove from the plates. I like to remove my parchment and get a cold pack on it ASAP to preserve the extraction. You need a towel or oven mit or something to grab it.

Every time I press a bag it's just a total joy though, it just further reaffirms my feelings that solventless is the way.

@invertedisdead beautiful squish dude, I can see that sacred budder! That is a really good point on the magnetic jig, it seems most useful for the low temp presses for hash and what not, so it's going to get hot after some minutes! I thought about getting a pair of heat resistant gloves, which would also serve as a better grip on the jack handle too. I wonder what could be done to make it easier to handle @dabpress.com ?

Doing 3.5g squishes should yield better than a 7g squish, in theory? Perhaps the way to do this is like @zubresco and run multiple pucks with lesser amounts. I thought about doing 3-4x 3.5g bottle tech bags, get all that rosin off the plates. I'm really liking the 2x2.5" rosin filters lately.

Here's the other scout's honor squish using a pre-pressed puck stuffed into a filter, folded up and squished.

If these are the not-so-frosty nugs in your collection - life seems to be good :-)

Have a great day!

That just happened...
I did a 2 gram press of ice hash yesterday. It's made from trim so not exactly top sift but still very good with lots of smaller popcorn buds making the cut. I had the temp set to 170 and applied my pressure very slowly ramping up to 1 ton.

I love how the press looks like a drooling idiot after a good squish. hehe

Thanks, great day to you as well Doc! They are certainly not bottom shelf nugs by any stretch but the trim job seemingly hides the frost. The squish will reveal the truth

Pardon the double posting, wanted to drop this squish video here. I had an error during the squish that had to be corrected. I thought it would be worth sharing as someone else may run into a problem with puck placement. Overall, when I compare it to my 3.5g press of the same material I only yielded 1% less with twice as much material. This is also using a pre-pressed puck utiliing a 2x2.5" filter bottle tech style.

The resulting rosin was like brown sugar where it escaped the plates. Unfortunately only about half the yield escaped the plates due to the error. Live and learn!
