Which Desktop? Volcano vs Da Bhudda??

Hi guys new member here, im gonna dive straight in with my first question which is what bought me to this great forum in the first place.

Im looking for a desktop vape, I have an arizor solo which is great but want to experience a more powerful desktop vape

The ones that have really caught my eye are the Volcano and Da Bhudda

I am so torn between the two, my questions are

1. does the da bhudda burn the herb, can the flowers fall out easily and can the vape get hot?

2. does the vape in the balloon on the volcano go stale if left in the bag for more than 5 minutes?

3. If I chose the volcano, digital or classic?

Any other info would be greatfull, which produce more vapour, which gives the nicer user experience or which is more fun to use!

Da Buddha is a strong hitting great tasting whip vape. The herb gets lightly tamped into the wand and doesn’t fall into the heating element as long as you don’t blow into the whip. It is reliable and a good company. Great with water tools.

Volcano is a real deal bag vape. Solid design and reliable. Vapor does go stale and condense when left in the bag, if you need to cool the vapor you can run it through glass. Digital or classic is preference.

Good luck!

@dave123 Welcome to FC! You could not have picked two more different vapes. You stated you are looking for a more powerful desktop vape. What do you mean by that? (Trying to determine what your criteria is) What vapes have you tried?

Honestly the arizer v-tower with the whip is super strong! Stronger than any bong hit.! It couched me many times if you like that feeling which proves its affective. But if you want expensive I heared volcano is top on the charts for recreational and medicinal uses. They use the valcano in hospitals, and its actually a product that health Canada recccomends.

Thanks for the quick responses already.

Ive been using an old arizor solo and its been great however I looked at other portables but other than the mighty I can't see any others that are any good and im opting towards a desktop vape now as I only use at home.

Whats important to me is build quality, most healthy way of vaping and ability to not burn the mouth.

I do like the idea of the whip but also the ease of use for the volcano is a very nice point to consider and the bags would be easier for the wife to use

Tough decision

Don't fancy a log vape, it looks too similar to my solo

Just to add to the Mix, I think its now out of the Mighty and the Volcano.

The mighty is great I’ve only gotten to try it once, but I would go with the volcano if it was only gunna be used at home, but that’s totally just my opinion and lots would choose the mighty. I’ve heard lots of great things about the plenty, vape critic has a good review on it.

@dave123

Just want you to remember these facts:
Volcano only does bags, that's it. The vapor does go stale after a while and you want to consume the whole bag within a few minutes of it being blown. I loved my Volcano but found the vapor to always be dry, a common complaint but it affects some more than others.

Since you are deciding between the Volcano and the Mighty, ask yourself where you will be using it mostly. If you are an out and about person, a portable would work better.
If you are at home and vape there all the time, then go with the Volcano as it is more potent than the Mighty in my opinion.

Or just get them both!

Oh and if you can afford it, go digital! When you find your perfect temp it is easy to have the same session over and over!

Mighty and Volcano are both top vapes. You state you would like a whip, but neither of these vapes comes with one, have you looked at the Herbalizer? https://www.herbalizer.com/products/the-herbalizer

It's all a matter of priorities. If you truly believe that bags would be easier for your wife to use, it shouldn't be a tough decision at all. Get the 'Cano. ;)

I agree the mighty is portable, so you can use it inside or out. The mighty is also medically recognised by health canada. Both are great options.

Hard choice man, think im leaning towards the volcano thought, which opens a new can of worms, digital vs classic ?

Go for the one you can afford!
In the end, they both function exactly the same, just dial VS buttons.

I haven't used a Da Buddha but I own a SSV and a Volcano. The Volcano hasn't really had much use since I got the SSV. The Vocano is much more limited by the bag system and the taste suffers through the bag more then a whip. The main reason I don't like the Volcano much though is because getting the vapour to be thick and not airy is a tough task, it requires the perfect sized bag set up for the dose you are wanting. Otherwise you end up with an airy, unsatisfying hit that costs you material.
Essentially I find the SSV with the @DDave mod to be infinitely better then a Volcano at a lot less cost, as its more efficient, harder hitting, better tasting and more versatile for micro dosing and macro dosing. It also looks a lot cooler than a Volcano. The Volcano may have slightly better vapour quality whatever that actually means lol, but it isn't better when you hardly feel the vapour lol. Smokers hardly feel anything off a Volcano hit but I've seen them be intensely high off one wand hit from my SSV. From my experience I can;t understand why anyone would prefer a Volcano unless you are into spending more for less effect, taste and versatility. The Volcano may be the most overrated Vaporizer of our generation

Slept on it. Think I've discounted da bhudda. Its out of the volcano classic or the mighty. I just like the manufacturer. Im really torn. I like the idea of a bubbler I do have a solo which gets daily use would the mighty be much of an upgrade?

I would Really go into a woodscents. Easy to use powerhouse with free ti vapcap. Not similar to an arizer at all and you would have almost zero learning curve and the best possible efficiency. Not harsh volcano bags. Not mighty big herb chamber and no buddha combustion. They are all great vapes but as a newbie my mistakes were Solo 1 volcano and buddha. I could not understand the powers of vaping until I got a good log.

I have a Solo 1 and a Mighty, I feel the Mighty is a HUGE upgrade in comparison. Only downside i've experienced with the mighty is that huge bowl on a session style vape can be a big commitment.

An Herbalizer seems like a better choice than a Volcano. There’s more flexibility, more control, more intake methods, faster heat up, and it should use far less herb. I’ve heard of the volcano being a bit of a hog when it comes to the amount of material needed.

It’s worth mentioning that it won’t produce super thick vapour but it will absolutely wreck you 15 mins later. It’s like a phantom punch that you never saw coming.

There’s a lot of vapes out there to choose from so take your time and expand your view.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
All good vapes your considering. All a matter of preference. Know this, if you and wife determine that vaping is a going to be a common thing in your home then:

1. This isn't going to be your last vape purchase. If you're like practically everyone else you going to get a common disease called VAS which will lead to a lighter wallet and a more versatile vaping hobby.
2. You may want to have a plug in in your rotation if much of your vaping will be at home.

SSV and da budda are great whips. Back when I wanted a whip style I went with the Vapor Brothers hands free desktop box vape. Same idea as the other two but I liked the construction better. The VB box vape is such an old style classic that it doesn't get mentioned much anymore by the trend-setters. A shame because it works very well as a session vape.

I never looked at the volcanoes because I felt it was too much for any given session. Too much herb for a bowl, too much bag, too much vapor in one session for one person. It seemed difficult to just have a couple hits because then you had this big bag of vapor that was going to get stale. And they are damn expensive.

You may have already ruled out a log vape and I scoffed at them at first too. But look at the plug-in subcategory on this site and then look at which vape thread has the most hits, replies, etc. Yes my friend, this is my plug for the e nano. As much heat as you'll need for anything conc or flower, all glass pathway, as much or little herb as you need for the session, versatility up the ying yang. Good luck.

Forget the bubbler. All arizers have a bong attachement you can buy separately. I have used both my arizer and my arizer v tower on a bong with added ice water and ice in the bong. The hit is so smooth you will not cough as much as a regular bong hit. https://arizer.com/store/arizer-air-accessories/ its called the air frosted glass third party attachment. available in 15mm or 19 mm. The arizer v-tower already fits a 19 mm bong. You just need to buy another glass whip attachement/ or the new glass elbow adapter. Once for the bong and the other for the vaporizer. That is why I love my arizers! They are so versitile. You can still take bong hits and the are super clean.

I have even heard people even getting creative using a organic cotton/sponge attachemnet that the fit into the mouthpiece of a bong to get clean hits. But you would not need that if you are attaching a vaporizer to the bong.
