Got some questions.....

1 - Is there a separate DV 420 sale when that date arrives or is this it?

2 - Does buying the 2018 M still include the Titanium Tip (plus 20% off)?

3 - Are the prices listed the sale prices or not?

4 - I finally bought those concetrate pads (fire-fly) and now I need to know what to do with them? They’re about twice as big as they need to be so how do I fit one into the tip chamber?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. :)

@kushkush, unlike your puppy, you can push the petal to the metal.

You may want to get up to speed, if you want to keep within the group momentum.

You may also want to keep apace, the flash sales are going by, quick.

Just sayin.

Thanks for all the NON-HELP @stark1 LOL

So how do I know when a “flash sale” happens. Just add that to my other 4 questions.

Well, if you are registered, they magically appear in your email. Otherwise, you may want to keep your eyes peeled.

Also, if the flash sales are redshifting by you, you can hitch on to the 420 sale, should be a hummer.

I got one yesterday but it’s for Australia. So will I have to move there to purchase? :hmm:

Soo I have a question again.
I'm temped into buying this Woody Ti XLS: https://lacentralevapeur.com/4378-t...bolo-dynavap-vapcap-vaporisateur-portable.jpg

But the Ti Tip looks a bit different than the one in DV shop. The one from DynaVap has 4 "cooling rings" and the one from french shop has 6 of those rings. Does that mean they have an older verion of the Ti Tip? Does that make any remarkable difference?

They do have another picture of the same model with just 4 of those rings on the tip: https://lacentralevapeur.com/4379-t...bolo-dynavap-vapcap-vaporisateur-portable.jpg

There are so many generations of tips and caps and stems and anything that I can't follow it.

The 7 fin tip on your first link is a Gen4 tip, highly prized by many here. The 5 fin tip in your second link is the current Gen5 tip. Personally I like them both and don't really find that much difference between them. If you like the Woody in the link but would rather have the newer Gen5 tip I am quite sure you could get someone in here to trade tip for tip. People always seem to want what they can't get... ;)

BTW, if anyone happens to see an XL Dynastash show up on the site during the sale please PM me...

The sale was not FOR Australians, it was offered in Australia's time zone. Some areas of the world have had to get up at odd hours to get in on the sales. So THIS 420 Sale will run until 1:59 Monday April 23. Every day there will be a Flash Sale with a special offer. You can just keep adding to your cart everyday as the sales appear. The caveats are that if you remove an item after the Flash Sale has expired you cannot get that offer again and you need to checkout before the 420 Sale ends on Monday the 23rd.

The Flash Sales notifications can be seen on the Dynavap website, through email notifications, facebook and twitter.

It's a total white out here. Calling for rain, snow, ice pellets and freezing rain over the next coup!e of days. Even though I have all the provisions I need, my neighbour and I decided to drive into town for a few things.

The regular 3 minute drive down the mountain took about 20 minutes, going slow, maybe 30kmh, in 4wd. Good thing we encountered no other vehicles cause I could barely see the road, which is narrow and has some steep drop offs.

What happened to Spring?

Oh well, I guess that I will console myself and settle into browsing the Dynavap site while I fill my cart with even more LEGO delights.

It's not just our politics* that are broken. Snow for 4/20 is just wrong...

And speaking of 4/20, the only thing keeping me from going a little nuts is debt.

That would be the good side of debt, restraint. Bet you didn't know there was a good side.

*Not you, @Squiby. Your politics are WAY better. I even like the guy in charge up there.

I have never had a straight woody midsection crack on me in the near three years that I've had them. They have been dropped or knocked off surfaces occasionally.

Apparently a few of the very early models experienced some slight cracking at the hot end which was then resolved a couple of years ago by adding metal end crowns. I don't recall it ever being a common issue, but I only know what I read here. It is important to note that George's mantra has been constant product improvement and innovation based on customer feedback.

That said, if you have a straight wood midsection, it will crack if you, say, run over it with a vehicle. Other than that, normal use should not likely result in cracking.

You needn't worry about quality. Dynavap products are very high quality, well built and expertly engineered. On the off chance and rare exception that you do have a problem, Dynavap has THE best customer service that I have ever experienced from any company selling any product. If anything should happen to any of your Dynavap items, you can expect that they will take care of you and then some.

Thank you for the clarification. Seems like I misunderstood it a little bit at first :). Definitely going for the Ti Woody now, just looks so nice especially double crowned.

@cybrguy Thank you too for the clarification on the tips. I'm so tempted to buy - but 100 €, not sure if I can justify that to myself, the M is actually getting the job done quite well. But well - on the other hand it's just money, better spend it while you can :D

The Ti Woodys are sleek and sophisticated beauties. These days, mine are fitted with concentrate pads for use with rosin and shatter. They are a classic and a collectors item. Here are mine....

Ti Woody XLS with single crowned Black and White Ebony stem and Blackwood mp.
Ti Woody with single crowned Cocobolo stem
Ti Woody S with double crowned Blackwood body and Burl mp.
