Has anyone using CBD exclusively or nearly exclusively found that after few days with low/no THC that their THC tolerance lowered?

I believe my tolerance is already pretty low and am mainly a microdoser. When I exclusively vape ACDC, which is 20% CBD & 1% THC or CBD tincture, I do not feel that it sets my THC tolerance even lower. That being said, I usually only vape from .05mg to .075mg a day which is a recent increase from my typical .04mg a day. I had to increase as I had a few breakthrough seizures.

Everyone is different so what doesn’t work for me may work wonders for you.

If your tolerance is high and you want to reset your system, Dr Dustin Sulak recommends that you only need to abstain from cannabis for 48 hours to lower your tolerance.

His free video program which discusses this is at www.healer.com

Wishing you the best!

Which one is better to get CBD wax/crumble, CBD isolate, or CBD oil/ejuice?

I have only used flower and tinctures and am not familiar with other mediums.

One important caveat is that when I vape up to .075mg a day this is in a OmniVap which uses considerably less flower than my Firefly2 or VapeXhale EVO. The OmniVap simply delivers superior results for me.

I don't have any personal experience with it, but I'm curious about CBD's effect on THC tolerance, too.

Have you noticed that the tolerance drop was more pronounced than the drop that already occurs just from the THC break?

I'm looking for some good isolate sources, since a good isolate is as pure a product as you can get, and it can always be mixed with a tiny bit of THC heavy bud/kief to balance the ratios, if need be.

I'm not so comfortable messing around with terpenes.

I like a lot of the “drizzle” strains. Actually, I prefer them to anything else. Lemon, cookie, berry... very good for pain and relief of physical discomfort. You can use thrm and sprinkle in whatever sTronger THC strains you want. Great if you’ve had surgery.

so.. CBD by itself can act as an antidepressant and anxiolytic, d-limonene can too
myrcene is sedative, should probably avoid it for daytime use. but harlequin has plenty? yet reviews say it's uplifting
d-linalool is also sedative
Bleh I dunno. still don't know what would reduce the thc comedown. but that's kinda off topic. maybe some terpenes/cannabinoids would reduce a sedative effect of cbd?
here is some diet info on how we synthesize endocannabinoids from dietary EFAs... this is how we buffer our metabolism better. it's focused on the ECS to keep it running optimally http://themodern.farm/studies/Omega-3 Deficiancy Abolish Endocannabinoid Function.pdf http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/bph.13676/full#references and here is the canna monster causing lethargy .... http://www.bionity.com/en/encyclopedia/FAAH.html add magnesium to your diet to take up for using to much FAAH... CBD does not use as much FAAH but THC will... FAAH is the enzyme that catalyzes cannabinoids @ receptor sites

Who has ordered CBD isolate from CBDistillery? I want to try some for various reasons, and CBDistillery seems like the best bet, so far.

I ordered the CBD slab from CDB disillery, no terpenes... I use it with live resin. This is the first CBD isolate i have tried so cannot give u a comparative analysis

I also got their CBD drops and they work really good....anytime i have anxiety, i drop a few drops under my tongue and 20 mins later im more relaxed

Also bought from pureKana

How does the CBD isolate look/taste? Also, how is the potency for the price? Do you need to use a lot of it?

Great topic and one of interest to me.

Real quick, I have a badly degenerated, post-op lumbar with a crushed nerve root to my left leg and the next step....that's I'm holding off on, is fusion.

My state has just gone med legal in Dec. Prior to that, I tried some CBD sublingual in an olive oil infusion (yes, it did taste like shit) but found no benefits from it (nor can I attest to its quality so there is that).

I did, however, recently find some 18% CBD/less than 1% THC, flower now being sold in my state so I bought some and have been using it. I have not found the benefits to be so immediate or clear as to completely eliminate the placebo effect, but subjectively to me it does seem to provide some overall anti-inflammatory and pain relief.

Here is my question...is CBD something you need to build up in your system like an antidepressant before its effective or are individual doses just as effective without concern for regularity of use?

Note, I'm vaping maybe about 150 mg of this flower so about 30 mg of CBD per session. I have only been sessioning with it in the morning as night time is for max pain/sedation as I have a terrible time laying down with this back.

Thanks guys....great topic.

Edit: Sorry, not 30 mg per session but rather 15 mg. Need to account for inefficiency of extraction and 50-60% seems like a reasonable extraction rate for these purposes.

Since I'm pretty new to the CBD scene (use it primarily when im anxious or stressed, and to cut down on my prescribed benzos), I'm not familiar with correct dosages. However, I am noticing that I'm getting similar effects using either 10mg or 20mg.

Honestly, looks like crack rock, or what is depicted in media (never seen one myself). I got the one with no terps so flavorless. Don't have a point of reference to compare it to.

cbd needs to build up... I have seen directly this occurring in an older gentlemen I know... he need at least 4 days to notice a difference and used high doses, like 1,500 mg a day

I have tried theirs and the issolate from PhytoDabs, I prefer CBDistillery for issolate-it was straight crystal. Phytos product is very waxy, they seem to me to be produced a little differently but I really have no idea. I believe the potency is equal, issolate is pretty mild on it's own anyways. BTW, the Terpsolate from the distillery is my FAVORITE product so far-extremely smelly, tasty, effective stuff. They have a deal on the 4 pack that gets the price down to about $33/g. Can't beat that with a stick!

For me personally YES, it most certainly needs a little build up. The first couple days I can't say that I noticed a whole lot, but it really started to work as I continued my use. I would advise anyone looking to try CBD, buy enough to be able to use everyday for at least a week to trully determine whether it will be effective for you. I also fully subscribe to the belief that adding even a very small amount of THC makes it MUCH more effective-especially for pain. I always add at least a tiny lil drop of regular THC concentrates and my results have been tremendous!

My CBD isolate powder is on its way so here's a question:
What's the best way to vape the powdered isolate , sprinkle a little onto a bed of cannabis in the chamber?

I want the full spectrum so usually will be using the isolate to boost the CBD level just a little in the high THC buds.
Thanks

I try and stick with AC/DC and or Cannatonic.
Predicated on which phenotypes are thrown in the grow,
AC/DC is typically around a 20:1 CBD:THC ratio (0.75% THC).
Last Cannatonic I bought was around 16% CBD and 5-6% THC.
I also bought some organic Pennywise awhile ago, 1:1 ratio, very nice.

You will experience a very different response to these 'varietals' than typical THC strains.

I've used edible hemp oil (CWBotanicals), and distillate crystals (Moxie) orally, but never felt a big response... when I fire up my vape the next time, I'll throw some of the crystals in there and see how that goes.
Everyone's biochemistry is different, someone low in digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid may experience a similar response orally (but I've got no problem with edibles or tinctures).

CBD is both anxiolytic and antidepressant, I've never experienced a 'drop' in antidepressant activity, but I also take Omega 3's.

I've felt it relax me, and help with pain and spasticity... AC/DC makes for a good daytime med.

I'm not so sure on the sleep front, while it helps to relax... I'd LOVE some sleep!
This starts to dip it's toe into the 'entourage effect', CBN, Myrcene, etc. all play roles in this.

CBD for skin issues.
I just wanted to share an odd experience with CBD topical cream. It's been great for my feet and plantar fasciitis pain.
So, I'd apply it to my heels and there was always some left over on my fingers. About a week ago I decided to try an experiment---use that leftover on my face on a couple "spots". One was from a cancerous mole that was removed and left a raised skin tag, been there 10+ years. The other was a "blocked pore?", kind of like a permanent zit-like thing.

After a week, both are much much improved. The mole skin tag is now almost flush with the skin---previously raised way above the skin--now I can hardly tell by feel where it is...
The blocked pore is almost gone, 95% smaller.

Just an FYI that CBD can benefit skin issues too. Searching for info, I now find articles like CBD is the new beauty cream, etc. It was news to me though, and just a lucky accident to try it :)

Thinking about it though, it does not surprise me as cannabis has the widest range of medical value/uses of any substance so it makes perfect sense.
Try experimenting and report back....

Thanks Minn, great ideas!! I'm going to try it on a few spots and report back.

As for vaping CBD powder, what you propose is what I have done: in your case sprinkle the powder on cannabis (I have the slab, so I've crumbled it). I've also dabbed the slab, but my favorite way to use the isolate is to mix it into a cannabis tincture.

I use a "0%" THC strain with around 6% of CBD and now it is one year that I mix and vape it with stronger strains. Lately I've progressively lowered the already small microdose of THC: started with a 1:1, now after 6 month I'm on 1:3. Very satisfying, and sometimes I have the impression that CBD interacts with THC... in short, I prefer the mix! Strange, since I knew that CBD was an antagonist of THC.
I've also had some interesting experiences in curing my wife migraine by frying the herb (1gr) and spreading it in a cheese toast: it does not resolve the pain, but change radically the approach on it... and that is what a good medicine must do, I think.
Talking about creams for external use, I'm planning to make a cannabis flowers oil infusion to create an anti-inflammatory oil/cream (with mostly CBDA, since solar heat is not enough for decarb the acid): it is done by simply filling a glass jar with the calculated quantity of herb (I use mine, so no worries), adding extra virgin olive oil, and expose the jar to the heat of the sun for 30 days. After filtering, you can add shea butter, bees wax (that I prefer for its naturality, but you have to melt it and it is not pratical at all..) or use it like it is. Oil is not that easy to absorb by skin, but try after a shower with the skin barely wet. Feels so good.

I'm trying to use CBD Liquid, flower and hash for insomnia and nightmares since I'm no more allowed to use THC. Sadly it does not help much for me. Yes, it cools me and my thoughts down a little bit, but nothing compared to "real" flower and hash. I think it's more a placebo combined with the ceremony of crumbling/crushing, filling my vape and vaping, what helps, as the CBD itself :(

Why are you "not allowed" to use THC??? You might try looking into buying some terpene to mix with the CBD; myrcene has sedative effects. Look up "sedative terpenes."
