Looks like the peak atomizer is going to go for 40$. With their shipping it comes to almost 50$. On their site now. Comes with ceramic bowl. Wonder if the only way to get official ceramic bowls is to buy the whole atomizer or if those will sell separate. I broke one just by burning with a torch and holding with needle nose pliers. Maybe i pinched too hard, but it snapped. Be careful with them and a torch. I wasn't having much luck cleaning with iso or boiling. I will say, burning got them white like new.

My replacement base is on the way. took about 48 hours after contacting john at support. Contacted support through their regular web form at the same time and haven't heard back from there. They paid for ship back label. I received an invoice having the base listed at 249.99. Atomizer selling for 40$ on site.

My unit died within 48 hours. That was a kick, but at least support is acting quickly.

Had to blow em up on insta but finally got a reply. They asked for me to remove my post and offered expedite shipping as compensation.

Still don't have tracking .

As for eternal quartz I DM them like a billion times got flakey replies and no support, friend knew I was looking for a quartz sent them a DM and had payment and tracking within 20m. Hit or miss but mostly miss for me. Again no significant difference imo from ceremic to quart.

Unfortunately that seems to be pretty common customer service in the tweaker/dab industry

Yeah they definitely make a great product, I have two of their inserts and love them, but dealing with them directly is very hit or miss.

Glad I didn't bite the bullet on the peak right away, think I am going to hold off until more people are saying their units are holding up for a decent amount of time, seems like a lot are breaking quick

Just a headsup, I had a nightmare a while ago trying to order a Eternal banger and insert, after 2 months I finally got a refund but no banger or insert. The only luck I have had with getting Eternal inserts is buying them through other headshops rather than direct
I got tracking today, took a little over a week. Im intrigued by the Opaque inserts I love the highly educated gavel, but based off the cost of the regular banger and the customer service i doubt im going to order one

I think I will go ahead and get this if I can find a deal. Can anyone verify the OD of the insert? Is it 20mm? I have tons of CCA710 20mm inserts and DH gate has 18mm and 20mm as well.

My Peak was going strong the first five days, after its second cleaning it started acting up. For some reason when I click three times to see the battery life it flashes purple & when I press it twice to heat up, it fires and heats up, but as soon as it vibrates to let you know it’s ready to hit, it flashes rainbow then shuts down. BACK TO PUFFCO YOU GO.

Look at your atomizer.
@tylerj55 pointed that out to me...
It is the biggest cause of blinking lights and shut-down that has come up.
I had same issue, and screwed the atomizer in a bit more tightly, and unit works magnificently.

mine did that once after a cleaning too... it’d fire up, heat up, melt my sauces, vibrate and I’d get the rainbow flashes n it’s shut down. I freaked out at first, but all it needed was for the atomizer to be screwed on a little tighter.. sometimes it’ll feel likes it’s screwed all the way on, but will need another half screw.. screw it in without the silicone gasket pushed on, when that’s on, n it makes it a little harder to screw all the way in cus the silicone starts to twist before the atomizer is completely screwed on.

This atomizer issue sounds like the old ego pens from 5 years go where you'd have to pull out the pin at the ego threading or the pen would just flash and not work.

I can't measure right now but I posted a while back that the 20mm inserts fit in the peak. I tested the SiC and sapphire but prefer the ceramic still. My guess is that the CCA inserts are probably too thick for suck a small heater. I am still waiting on some Eternal Quartz inserts but that is another story altogether....

I got a coupe of boro inserts and caps from mynameisbud. The boro inserts run too hot for my liking, even on blue. I feel the same way about the hunipot I modified. The ceramic is still the best I have tried. EQ inserts are still 4 weeks from being available. Peak has become my daily driver

Have you tried using the source quartz inserts in the hunipot dish? I just got a 13mm one and it fits in the EQ dish very well and is how I take all of my dabs now. The 10mm one was nice, but the larger surface area means more vapor and less splatter, while also giving bigger hits since it retains heat longer. I use the blue setting almost exclusively with that dish and insert combo.

I couldn’t find my 10mm insert that came with the OG source nail. Looks like I need to place an order with source...not my favorite saying...lol.

Haha source sucks half the time, and the other half they are ok. I like their atomizer replacement warranty, as I broke my first 13mm quartz bucket on accident and had a new one in like 3 days total. Maybe try some local headshops, some around my way have had source atomizers on a clearance sale lol.

Found my Sai TAF quarts and used it as an insert on my Hunipot. Very nice!

I’ve been enjoying mine also! Problem free except I broke the handle of the carb cap pretty much immediately so looking forward to when they start selling replacements
