I must be a slow toker. I'm averaging having to restart the vape at least once during a session. My sessions last 7-8 minutes. Four sessions get me down to one bar. Not really a problem, cause im only using it about twice a day, but if you use it for a daily driver and vape a lot, it might be a problem. The battery life does limit it somewhat.

Btw, another "problem" to report. I had to get my wife her own fury 2, lol.

I can't wait for that Fury 2 to get here, although I may wait until those new ss dose caps come out. If those little caps really keep all the bits and pieces out of the heater parts then I may wait to start on those from the beginning. This little guy may be my right hand man on trips, but I'm not going anywhere right now. I am hoping that the Fury 2 will be in my pocket through all my summer excursions.

At home the nano rules the roost. But I do like to switch it up now and then, and also there's taking a portable down to the living room couch and also working out in the garage or out in the yard. A good portable is a necessity, but my VAS has never been satiated completely by any previous portable.

I did run my Lotus for a solid year as my daily driver, but in the end, I got tired of using a torch. I have also gone through a Firefly, 2 vapcaps, and an Air. All are pretty decent vapes, but they would fall out of favor. Right now the Air is my travel unit. I like it, but the draw resistance can be straining after several inhales and also it's a bit bigger than I hoped for. The FF was like carrying a brick in your pocket. I'm hoping this Fury gives me what everyone is stating; small size, low draw resistance and decent clouds. I like the idea of a portable that you can just cup in your hand and hit it when your walking around almost anywhere.

Stoners gotta have their toys. :science:

I agree on the dosing caps. I’ve used it I think twice “natively”, and the rest of the time have been using the WPA either as a mouthpiece or with my water pipe.

Using with a water pipe, I essentially use it as an on demand log vape. Heat up the fury, pack up the WPA, fury is up to 430 by then, take 1-2 rips and good to go. Can probably do this 4-6 times (I’ll have to count next time) over a day or two before needing another charge.

Excited for the dosing caps to take it out and about more frequently!

Alright, well then that's what I probably do also, just keep using the wpa until the caps come out. Does anyone think the dosing caps will increase draw resistance?

Using capsules in a mighty doesn't cause much if any restriction unless you pack it exceptionally hard.

I can fully extract in one 4 min session.
It does take a lot of repeat rips in fast succession.
Foggy cloudy wow.

So can i, but I'd rather sip than rip. I'm starting at 365F and finishing at 390F. Better flavors at the lower temps. If speed were a concern, I'd use water and up the temps, or without water just up the temps. It does both styles fairly well.

I recall the prototype having vent holes on the side, which is absent on the mighty capsules. Might reduce draw resistance, but like @shredder says, no draw resistance on mighty capsule unless you pack it super tight.

My apologies if discussed at length. Tried searching but coming up blank.

Bent glass mp worth the extra $15? Cooler, tastier vapor than the wpa's used dry?

First night with my new Fury 2. This is not a review, I just want to talk about my new vape and, besides my wife, you folks are the only ones that know I vape the herb.

So, I started with charging it then setting the unit to high for 2 full cycles to burn off any residue, then wiped it out with iso damped Q tip. I gave it a few draws and got the robot fart taste. Gave it two more heat cycles and took a few long draws , the fart taste started to dissipate. I don't know if its completely gone yet, but much more reasonable now. Given how quickly it is dissipating, I have no doubt that taste will clear out. It just shocked me on the first couple draws.

I then packed the xl wpa with a nice blend of Golden Goat :goat: with a little Bubba Kush to take the edge off. The wpa slips in nice and snug when the unit is warm. ;) Set it to 390 and when it got there I took my first hit. I got a lot of flavor with a mild cloud. However, the second and third hits were nice full clouds of vapor. I had to stop there because I was getting fucking stoned.

After a short break I heated it up to 390 and hit the same bowl again, with an equally massive rip. I had to stop again. I want to finish this bowl but I'm too medicated to go any further. The hits are not harsh at all, pretty mild for such a short air path. Did I mention previously that my third hit was on my bubbler and that little bastard milked that glass up?

So I really like this little guy so far. I hope to do a lot more practice with it in the near future. I also like the solid build and the small size. I think my Air is getting nervous.

I also like how I can flip the packed wpa upside down and rest the frosted end in the heater chamber when taking a short break. It keeps the weed from falling out of the wpa and gives it a place to sit when not in use so the herb doesn't continue to toast. :sherlock:

Oh yeah, I also put it in stealth mode almost immediately. If the screen tells you when it's at temp, why the need for the red/green lights?

I've had allergies all my life and now I'm getting old, so I'm quite sensitive to plastic or metal or burning oily smells and tastes. I've abandoned more than one electronic vape over this issue. Gotta say that my Fury 2 had absolutely no burn-off farty smell, even on the first day when, after charging, I ran it at the top temp. I actually took the lack of foul burn-off odors as a challenge, but couldn't get even a hint of any stink.

Yesterday was gorgeous crystal clear day here in the mountains and I spent most of the day outdoors xc skiing. Brought my F2 with me for the third time and it certainly made a great day even greater! Though my day started near 0F/-17C, the F2 worked just fine, staying reasonably warm in its little padded camera case. The reason it still hasn't knocked off my Crafty--it has taken the place of my CF and APX--is the lack of dosing caps. Loading in the wind and cold is just impossible, so I had to wait until I got back to the car. Hopefully we'll see the caps for the HR vapes by next week, per HR comments here a couple of weeks ago.

How can we help? If you let us know the problem, chances are we can help.

am i the only one using this with the screen as a chin rest?
upside down or right side up. maybe wrong way around?

I don't think there is only one way to hit it, but I like to look at the screen. However I frequently cover the air hole with my little finger when I cup the vape in my hand. I know now if it has restrictions, it's my finger.

Hi All, We wanted to give you an update on our FURY 2 dosing capsules.
We sourced a metal mesh manufacturer on December 27th, 2017 to provide us with dosing capsule samples. We paid them for the mold and samples on January 2, 2018. On January 25th - we received our first samples - but they were getting stuck in the chamber and the lid/cap was too loose. We immediately informed them of the necessary adjustments - but we did not receive our second set of samples until March 10, 2018 (after numerous requests for them to speed up the process). The second set of samples were worse than the first - the depth was off by 1mm and the lid/cap was now too tight. We contacted them again - and they wanted us to pay for a new mold and they tripled their price from the original quote. And they said that the capsules were too difficult to make due to the small size. We were obviously extremely upset that they didn't simply disclose this in the first place and not waste so much of our time and money.

We immediately contacted numerous other metal and mesh manufacturers and narrowed our search to two additional manufacturers. We have now paid these two additional manufacturers for molds and samples - just to be sure that one of them can actually produce them. They are both giving us time estimates of 21 days to produce the samples and then another two weeks to bulk produce them once we approve the samples.

We are very sorry that we originally chose the wrong manufacturer - which is causing our clients to wait longer than expected for the capsules. Both manufacturers that are currently working on these capsules have assured us that they can get them produced correctly and timely. Once we receive the capsule samples - we will compare them and finalize bulk production on the better of the two.

We will make this up to all of you that have been patiently waiting on these capsules by providing a coupon code that will triple the number of capsules you will receive with your order. We will update you with new pictures and release dates the second we have rock-solid information.

We appreciate and thank you in advance for your continued patience and understanding.

We definitely appreciate the transparency and understand that some things are out of your control. Sorry to hear that you got hosed by the original manufacturer. I'm anxious to see how these things look. I've pressed a lot of mesh basket screens in my day and these Fury 2 capsules look like they are going to be a PITA, but I'm sure you will find the right supplier soon enough. Good luck! We will be waiting less-than-patiently for them.

FUCK CANCER TOO !
Out of curiosity, are these manufacturers that you've been dealing with Asian, or are any of them American?

Any chance of leveraging the offshore manufacturers with good old American manufacturing, or would that be cost-prohibitive?

Well, in the meantime the FC members are certainly creative in their modifications to pre-existing units so let's wait and see what happens there as well perhaps?

Thanks for the update HR. It is so refreshing to have a vendor with such thoughtful customer service.

Meanwhile I will give my curved screen a try with the regular mouthpiece for the first time. I hope I can get some practice in before getting significantly medicated.

HR included a bunch of screens with my order and I also noticed that they included a metal mesh pad for concentrates rather than the quartz cup. I read that the quartz cups had some issues and I understand that these wire pads are preferred by a lot of people, so I look forward to trying it out also. I ran the first charge completely down and I'm now giving it a full recharge before having at it. Wish me luck. :peace:

This is also a reason why I choosed to buy a Fury 2, HR seemed to be dedicated to their customers.

Thank you for being transparent and keeping us updated, it is really appreciated. I have to admit, I'm really looking forward to those capsules as I am always using it on the go! :)

Has anyone tried the mesh pad? Curious if u can blow decent clouds. Got the Quartz cup but will purchase the pad if they perform when HR gets the new batch of dosing capsules
