I now have hearing aids and, as a gadget freak, they are really up my alley. I can control them with my iphone, and listen to SiriusXM, etc through my Hearing Aids.
Does it bother you that you have not just amplifiers, but also radio receivers inserted in your head?

They sound cool tho. I've had a similar selective hearing disorder for years now, the same kind of not being able to understand the person right in front of me, if we're in a setting where loud music is being played.

And while I've been to a few loud concerts in my day, it's probably hereditary in my case as well.

:tinfoil::hmm:

was told I suffered from the same

or "selective cognizance". You choose what you understand.

I wear them unless it is very warm, as my ears sweat. I have never been a phoney person: I seldom call people, but I enjoy receiving calls through my hearing aids: fake stereo. I don't listen to the TV LOUD with them in anymore. The actual unit sits atop the ear and a clear tube with a inverted plastic dome is inserted into the ear canal. I understand they have made great strides these last 10 years, but they are not Bose-quality. Still, I like them.

So the Beast from the East 2.0 has come and gone, according to the media; it got a bit scary back there for all 30+ hrs or so...

So today for me it its all back on track, so after grooming the cats, and doing (the real) horticultural work,;)
I am going to be planting seeds, I'm trying some wild lettuce, as I recently read an interesting article, claiming it was more effective than opium against pain - I'm gonna give that a trial this year, along with some other medicinal plants that I've read about., I got some 'medicinal heirloom'seeds from an outfit in India!! so we'll see...!:hmm:

I got my S.O. (significant other) to build a HugelKulture last October, (poor thing it nearly killed em)
So I guess I'd better get down to (Funny Fuck Farm as I call the plot we've got down at) the allotment, and (or at least appear, like I am making a) start. To be fair though, I did put some Walking Onions in the base of the hugelkuture bed, around the end of November, but I ain't seen anything yet?

However, I gotta say the no-dig beds are looking the business, they've shrank from about eighteen inches in height, over the last few months, right down to a couple of inches. We're planting potatoes soon using the No -dig style, i.e we're just going to fling the potatoes on the ground and cover them with straw (fuck that trench digging malarky)!

As we're the only ones down there growing this way, its raising a few eyebrows, lol! I gotta say it's an eye opener watching the old salts and the traditional's, toiling away, digging away for days and then complaining of back ache and the like, meanwhile I, or should I say we, have just been dumping leaves, straw and manure (from our chooks) on the beds and leaving it to become incorporated!! Funny how that approach can bring out the haters!:hmm:

Anyway my goal this year apart from the harvest, (in particular the herb harvest,) is the Beekeeping 'honey' harvest, I've gotta couple of hives raring to go, and my little apiary is all set up, so just waiting for a swarm, cos I ain't freaking buying them:mental::disgust:.... Fuck that, oops sorry wrong page!

Sorry for going off on a blah blah, but just wanted folks to be aware that 'little gentle' Trypsy Summers ain't all about fuck the system and sounding off about stuff, my default is just being a warrior(ess) tending crops, as opposed to being a gardener going off to make war:tup:

Not saying:\, just saying;), without saying:)

Enjoy your day

Pure Peace:leaf:

I used to chew my pens. Not to the point of mangling them, just a stupid habit of putting them in my mouth & biting on the ends when thinking. This bad habit ended when a coworker needed to write something down & asked to borrow my pen, and I then saw his nervous mindless thought action of scratching the inside of his nose with a pen. Stopped cold turkey.

In one parallel universe I actually followed through on my wim to become a camp host at Harris Beach State Park in Southern Oregon.

Quiet hours at the campground are strictly enforced. Violators are locked in a minivan and forced to listen to ABBA for the entire night.

As for anyone caught with a guitar singing John Denver songs 'round the campfire...

God help me, I just threw away almost a half ounce of weed. Knowingly.

I was going through my stash inventory today and came upon two mason jars that I've had in storage for some time. One jar had about 7 grams of an old sativa that I didn't much like when it was fresh. I took good care of it, along with all other strains in storage, keeping it air tight in sealed mason jars in cool darkness with boveda packs in the jars.

Now that the sativa was about 3 years old I decided to check it out. With the exception of being a bit brittle, it looked to be in good shape with no signs of anything nasty. I loaded up a small bowl and gave it a try. I did get a bit high although it was a blah type of high and the taste was stale. I decided it wasn't worth keeping so I took it, along with another jar that had about 5-7 grams of random shake that I kept in the same jar over the course of about 3 years and just tossed it.

I don't know if there is a weed god or not, but if so I hope I didn't anger him. I remember the days as a youngin' when we used to scrape old bongs for shitty tar to smoke when we were jonesing for anything. Now I'm just throwing it away. I'll be honest, it hurt to throw it.

I remember feeling much the same way when I tossed out a big jar of AVB/ABV when I realized I wasn't going to be doing hours of work to make some edibles that weren't going to be pleasant to me anyway. Still, actually dumping it was hard as I was once a bong tar scrapin' fool as well. (For those unclear, we're NOT talking reclaim.)

Funny how time changes things. Thirty years ago I would have run over my own mother to get that jar of ABV you were throwing out.

Yes, I've always had a love for weed and I've always thought it be medical. These days we search for the right THC amounts or different terp flavors. As a teenager, my favorite flavor was a four-finger bag. Rare as hen's teeth.

I ate the ultimate '6b' waffles today, perfect for a sunday am:
  • belgian
  • buttermilk
  • buckwheat
  • bananas
  • blueberries
  • butter
I made too much and ate three of them :D
Bob's red mill, with toasted peanut oil, fresh eggs and almond milk.
Too bad I didn't have any birch tree syrup layin' around, coulda had a 7th b.
Maybe next time, plus I'll try and take a pic before I wolf them down.
Had to settle for the organic maple stuff this time.
It was the real deal

Dumped mine too. At first I would make foul-tasting brownies with it, then I told myself I would save it for lean times (survival mentality), then got honest and tossed it on the compost heap.

If I ever get to the point where I have half a gram I wouldn't mind losing, (let alone a half an ounce), I've got so many "experiments" I would try with it (Rosin, creating my own e-cig juice, edibles, etc.). What stops me from experimenting now is knowing I'll mess it up the first time.

I’ve been watching sports on tv for many many years and I’ve never watched a final four game with two announcers so flamboyantly favoring one side. ku if you’re wondering what I’m talking about and may a landslide bring ‘em down. No disrespect to ku fans.

EDIT : well i guess it’s tnt that chooses sides...

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
ABV and ISO for ISO hash? ISO is dangerous. So know what your getting into. I have a very gentle method using a large squarish pyrex dish and an old electric buffet tray.

Even though FC users are on the World Wide Web they often still seem to think they are within the America. I always find this odd.
Other Non - American members don't seem to use as much slang, colloquialisms, phrases from their own soil as often or is as represented. :freak:

Or the universal language of vaporists. :D

I forgot that point as a new member. Until the other 3 EQ users I got with the most were Australian. So I had conversations with them at 4am my time.

...idk, but one theory which i dig is we go into the spirit world when we dream (same as a heavy psychedelic state)...

...but on the other hand... it may because she was recently on your mind...

...i dont believe in coincidence, i feel thats a cop-out... dreams fascinate me- the meaning of them... where or what we do spiritually... however i have not dug that deep into the subject...
