Cheers my friends !

gjd0j4K.jpg

I have some news for my broken Bubbler.

Sebastien will not have time to make a repair, and he warns me about the high cost that it may cause to which it will be necessary to add shipping costs.

On the other hand he advised me a glassblower in my city who will surely accept to repair this kind of glassware.

I will tell you more
Nice! Have you tried using the adapter as a microdose bowl with EQ screen as @MrMonss did?

I am planning to get the microbowl with Digital. I also want 2 regular 18 mm bowls. Not 100% decided yet on all details.

Sorry to be curious, but why 2 normal bowl ??
Especially that it is the adapters exactly like that of @latulipe999 that can accommodate an EQ screen to dose less.. so this type of adapter can also be a bowl.
It is purely for occasions when I might have a visitor at the house who will vape with me. It is not very often, but when I am more well as I expect to be this year, I may vape with others more often.

But I am allergic to all of the weed except my own fert-free, which is too limited for me to share with friends because I cant use their herb, so we could only share a bowl if we both used my weed.

So the idea if 2 identically performing bowls is useful. I can always have my own herb load on the go, and a friend can have their own bowl loaded any way they like. We can have seperate bubblers and just share the heater. It would never work to share one bowl swapping our weed over, and the bowl would be contaminated for my allergies.

I am also aware that the different bowls may perform differently, wrt heat level required due to distance, bowl shape etc. So I dont want to be in a social situation where no 2 bowls perform equally well at the same temp etc. Like if I had regular 18 mm bowl, and microbowl...
Or regular bowl and adapter with basket screen...

Of course I want to save some money, but I also want to make sure I have the best options for all occasions. Maybe the 2nd regular bowl will never be necessary, but this is an investment for a long time for my health and happiness in life. I can know for certain that 2 regular bowls will allow for easy, consistent group vaporizing without having to pick bowl style, and find a happy medium for both bowls with temperature, or keep adjusting the temp etc (although this should be much easier and less of an issue with the Digital.)

I hope that explains my thinking @MrMonss . Like I say, Im not fully decided on all of this yet, I am open to options.
@latulipe999 thank you for your response , I hope it has been a successful week at your exciting job and you are making progress educating the world about vaporizing. Good luck always for this very worthy quest.

@Alexis For sure, like every day. :)

As an active vaporizer it's every day that I meet people about it. Especially with my mighty and my vapcap.

My work at the association allows me to reach more people through events such as the world march, the support dont punish, or our interventions in different festivals.

Well... got creative. Homemade Herborizer Log for roughly 130,- €
Spare heating element for the XL > 99,- €.
12V/36W power adapter and a 12V dimmer for fairy light LEDs, each for 7,95 € from Amazon.
Wooden Cup > 2,95 €
Universal WPA adapter > 8,95 €
... and some Kapton tape, to tape the WPA to the heating element, forming a more versatile connection.

Works like a charm :D

None. I usually use simple glass stems with various roasting chambers attached (glass, stainless steel, high temp silicone etc.). But I tried it through a bong by just putting a screen into one of those little thumb sized 18.4/14.8 glass adapters, adding around .15-.2g and just connected the 14.5 joint from the log. Works fine :-)

Well, Kapton tape is made for a high temp environment (up to 300°C) and hightec vacuum setups, that require little to no outgassing at all, as to not irritate any measuring devices. If this stuff doesn’t work..

Well, guess those blokes with the expensive experiments and stuff... guess they'd get really pissed off, if a tape that's specifically produced and advertised for this purpose would suddenly start off gassing or something and ruining their experiments... it's a) not in the air path and b) it's plastic! It'll start reeking like any other plastic, as soon as it reaches critical temperature. So you can be sure to notice any off gassing immediately, before you take any draw. I noticed nothing so far.

it's just a single 7-8 cm strip, but not the final solution. Looking for a fitting piece of ss tubing, to connect WPA and injector. The 24mm (?) joint makes the whole thing a bit unwieldy, as you're forced to use it with the Herbalizer bowl more or less exclusively.

Hole Lee Chit! I finally got a chance to break out my desktops this week, compare and test. Herbo up against the some of the top desktops available to us. This bad boy needs some more love. I am super impressed with the experience, quality of vapor and just the awesome feeling of a great extraction that I've been missing. Tingly eyes and nose, smoothness that I don't seem to get from my top tier portables. I'm usually on a portable due to my currently living situation.

I'm already eyeing the XL sphere to add to my collection, even though I have the latest bubbler. Last nights session was done my sidecar d020. I've been on the fence going back and forth about getting the XL sphere. I know some of you have owned one at one point. Did you guys love or hate their sphere? I need some feedback from anyone with experience before I commit. I'm hearing mixed reviews. I already have a orbiter but the bigger size and thickness of the XL version makes me curious.

The sphere is more of a session bubbler than a one hitter. I think Sebastien probably designed it with group/social vaping in mind. It suits the slower extracting XL with a big load to keep passing the whip/mouthpiece while the sphere stays full if thick vapor throughout.

It is good for cooling, is smooth. However I am not using it now. Im not convinced it is the way to go for today's heavy hitting powerful extractors. But please take with pinch of salt because I am remarkably unclear on these things at times, in a true objective sense.

I am going to sell my whole XL Sphere Herbo set very soon, in great condition. But if I kept the sphere, I dont see I would use it for Ti, FP, Elev8r etc.

Others may disagree though.

Thanks for the feedback @Alexis on the sphere. I think I should hold off on that sphere purchase then. I'm not really a sit around with multiple people having session guy.

I thought of you when going for that first big draw. I can see why it may work very well for your sensitive airways. One of the cleanest uplifting draws I've taken for sure. Very even extraction as well, quite surprised about that. I thought I would want the digi-Ti but I don't think I need to go that route and am quite happy with my rotary dial floating between 6 and 6.5. Man, the Francais folks put some voodoo in this magical device. I love it!

One very noteworthy thing I noticed when I last uses the Ti in November- I borrowed it for 11 days and used it daily, as it kept calling my name unlike any of my other vapes at the time.

On day 1, when I went to collect it from my friend's house, I was in a real rough condtion all round, physically and mentally.
When Dave came to collect it 11 days later, I was on top of the world. Much stronger and better bodily, more relaxed, happier and really good in my mind too.
No question, the Herbo Ti is of enormous benefit from a medical point of view, making the most of what the precious herb has to offer.

Similar to the Flowerpot in this sense. Not all vapes offer the same level of all round health support, but the Herbo Ti delivers extremely well here. This goes beyond "caining", and should be taken into account when considering this device.

Getting my order together from the suggestions @buckhakeesah made on the dimmer and power unit.

I am based in the US so need 110 and not EU electrics.

Anyone know how to tell which heating unit I have? It is a Roor with a black and white cable. I see some people have a red and black cable coming out of their XL heater. Thought I read there was a 22W version and a 36W version. Can someone please confirm?

Thanks in advance

Wish I could help you @Dubmonkey , but I have no experience with the EU versions. You may want to try contacting Higher Society Glass in Canada. They are the closest distributor to us in the states and may be able to find you what you need. Plus with the exchange rate, it may work in your benefit to source this from Canada, if possible. I know they were able to offer me the sphere brand new and can order direct from the manufacturer if they need to special order something for customers.

Did you guys love or hate their sphere?

Its cool, but not my favorite piece. The sphere volume is very large, especially if you don't use much water. You pretty much have to do 2 inhales - the first inhale is spent just pulling the vapor through the system and filling the chamber, then you take another breath to actually inhale the vapor (and carb it by lifting the heater if desired). For a session with 2+ heavy users its a good choice, as the chamber will always be full of vapor.

Thanks for this talk around the Sphere bubbler, I was thinking to get one since a while but will stick with my Orbiter finally...

Any new news @Alexis on the DigiTi? I can see from the third pic that the controller looks like a auber 150 DC. If that is the case it is easy to see what features the RFC150 fro Auber has:

Okay my good people. I decided you deserved more, I wasn't happy not knowing how to copy the photos Sebastien sent me, so I figured it out for y'all! I almost feel like a proper member now.

First up, the concentrate and essential oil Ti bowl:

The microdose bowl:

And most of all I expect, the DigiTi:

There you go. Short and sweet, hope you enjoyed!:)

Dont stress Rodders seriously. Just email Sebastien, tell him hiw much you love his device and how important it is to you, and ask him how much to repair the injector.

I bet he will fix it for the postage only, or at most a very small fee. I swear, good luck and let us know what happens.
