@GtrBob thanks for reminding me, @pxl_jockey don't forget to remove your Prince Albert. It may smart a bit.

@Kalessin there's a lot of difference between the tips, better how?

@Fat Freddy that 0.5g of wax down the front there didn't last long, I'm sorry I can't report much else on the DVIH.
It all got too manic to have really put it thru it's paces.

Here's the hemp thru the course of use with a little larger piece in the centre.

Easier to not over brown the herb, I guess because of the greater airflow

Been a super busy day but I squeezed in a new M session :D:D. To start off i’ll Touch on something that lots of folks commented on-hygiene:uhoh:. Mine came super clean without the oil and residue of last year’s M, took all of 1 q-tip with iso to clean all surfaces.

The unit itself looks outstanding. The grip is textured without having the nail file feel, very nice improvement. The first M is unusable for my arthritic hands. The thin fins also gives it a much more turbo look.

Performancewise I don’t have too much to say right now, only had one run. Material was nice and dark after 2 cycles and vapor was super dense but I’m using it in an unfamiliar way. I’ve always been lung inhale guy so having this M tip unmodified means me inhaling in an unpracticed method. I’ll leave one tip unmodified so I can have a comparison.

Anyway i’ll file down some groves and report back this weekend.

ah, the 'joys' of being in europe :bang:
best i can do is obsessively refresh the tracking page ehehe

Mine left Chicago! so it'd seem to be a bit ahead...but then i remember the customs :o once took 3 weeks due to "administrative diligencies"
Oh well, back to hitting f5

Does it feel like all the exciting vape and marijuana stuff is happening almost exclusively in the states? I haven't forgotten @vapman and @funkyjunky and I'm sure they're others I have forgotten.

I also recommend starting heat at the bottom. I started doing this recently and find my sessions to be way more enjoyable. I used to do a pre heat then pack quick as per directions when I purchased my vapcap

I always found that at the end of my vapcap sessions, there was a small hit left that I wanted to taketl but knew that I would possibly scorch the herb or it would taste pretty awful.

I started heating at the bottom and this has alleviated my problem. I slowly move towards the center and then the top at the end. I find my abv to be darker and that I don't miss that small last hit this way.

I'd suggest trying it.

I've had to go to the Customs and explain what the heck that thing was (enano..) to two middle aged customs officers...not exactly a fun use of my time.
And then i get slapped with a 23% tax + administrative fees.. and a couple weeks wait.. the nano for example was 200 i think + 46 tax + 30 something administrative fees...and this every time, every singe time..
And still, if you look at my signature... ehehe i'm just unlucky (geographically) in my choice of vapes. (only the arizer i bought from vaposhop, bypassing customs)

I've only ever experienced that once. When I got the first herb Vape I every used a ti grasshopper, I was on vacation in Pakistan. I luckily got it it with only a $30ish import duty. The experience still sucked though. I feel for you folks who have to deal with this all the time.

I have been using the new m18 all day long. I really like it, the draw with the carb closed is very similar to the titanium tips I have. The older m was a lot harder to hit with the carb closed. The new m gives you 95% performance of the titanium tips vapcap at a lower price. The biggest difference is heating times and heat retention. (Just my medicated opinions ).

@asdf420 it was two types of CBD 'wax' and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did, non stop all day Saturday.

I demo'd one bowl to at least 3 people with plenty of clouds. The 'ever lasting bowl' is the reason I went with a concentrate.

I'd of been no use to man nor beast on THC'd stuff. Just crossed my mind anyone seen CBD kief?

60 going on 20
Not much spare time these days, but got my 2 18 M's. A giant step forward in the budget vape game. Holy shit, this little fucker is good. Feel, touch, airflow.....damn boys and girls. We're talking 60 bucks plus spares, torches and butane, for what is in all intents and purposes (IMHO) all one would need to medicate. Plus the same old VC efficiency curve. Plus dropping consumable prices (I'm down to 60 a quarter in a prohibitive jurisdiction). Outstanding work @VapCap

Got my new M today, picked up last years model as well, since it was on sale!

A closeup of the 2017 vs 2018 M tips.
I like the scalloping, my original M didn't have that in the tip, I think its a sharp look and I like the thin fins of the newer tip. The 2018 M feels heavier, I don't know why, that was first thought out the tube. It heated up fast, 4-5 secs, vs 6-7.
That was with my Portside Mini.
I think on the new M I'd prefer the textured part to be closer to the mouthpiece, I tend to hold it there.
I'm not a big stickler for performance details. I don't notice much difference in performance between the various tips.
These both work fine.
And that's fine by me!

Just received my new 2018 M earlier today. Probably won’t use it until tonight and really break it in this weekend but thought I’d share my thoughts on everything else about it.

Initial observations:

One of the first things I noticed was the the o-ring that sits just inside the mouthpiece is the new gray-colored o-ring instead of the black on my old M.

Sneaky Pete is right on about the new ribbed section, it’s placed perfectly where you naturally hold the M and it has superb grip. I like the look of it too.

I’m not picky about logo size but as others have mentioned, the logo is obviously smaller.

I never had that much trouble locating the carb on the old M as others have mentioned, but there is definitely a difference with the new M. I can see it being easier to feel for now with the bigger cross-hatch.

The tip is all new as well. The double spiral going up the bowl is nice and I’m sure helps with airflow. The fins are thinner for sure. But maybe not as thin as the LE 7 fin. It seems like a mix between the thick 5 fin and the LE 7 fin. The airflow spiral does not travel up the fins like they do on the LE 7 fin.

Even if you are someone that doesn’t use an M, maybe you’ve moved on to an Omni/Woody/Vong, the new tip on the M might be a reason to check it out. Personally, as someone who tries to collect each new iteration of the VapCap tip, the new M is well worth it. Now I wonder if Dynavap will be releasing a titanium version of the new tip...

Just another traveller in the Cannaverse
Given the Lego nature of vapcaps in general, and due to the fact that I won't get my M for a day or two, I'm scheming on how I might include it in my Dynaverse.

Given the size of the bowl on the M tip, this is something that I would only use when out 'n about or with my j hook or WP. It's perfect for out n' about in my Dynastash.

But at home I'm thinking about going Nayshstyle with my Omni XL condenser and a Ti tip with the smallest screen setting. And using the M tip on my Light wood Vong. @ArthurJ putting the Ti tip into the M mouthpiece would put the texture where you want it.

And I think it would look cool. Hint hint to anyone who's also thinking of doing this.

Hey @beyond6strings, I thought of that, I've seen that people here do that.
I like the mouthpiece on the M, so I've never flipped the tip.

You know, an MXL would be intriguing.

And I agree with you about out and about. I tend not to carry my VCs around because I'd hate to lose one. But two Ms in a double garage with the Portside Mini? I could head out for a stroll.

Just heard a viewer on the stream asking about other types of material for the Dynastash and mentioned 'Stone'

Wish they could make something like that. "Stonestash"
