Did a video with the new air inlet tubes on a Bare Essence using the Bubbler with the carb valve
Here is a pic of the abv after the first two hits
utDLt59.jpg

I was a little aggressive on the heating and got just a bit of charring
Then I stirred and got a few more hits

Backed off a little on the flame and got this nice dark brown abv

And here is how I am holding the flame

Love the your setup, especially the function of your bubbler. Bet it retains a lot of flavor.

@mixchu69 the bubbler is fun for sure. I have only owned a few bubllers and broke them all. Since I have access to a glass shop now I started having them made. The carb valve is my favorite part, I always hated taking the vape off to clear the bottle. The carb valve is most effective with an on demand vape, works great with the Essence or Touch.
I haven't put this bubbler in store but could do them for $115

Made some Essence parts. Going to make several units where the caps and body are the same wood.
Making three in coco bolo (on the left) and two in tulip wood.

I'll post finished pics next week

@mistvaporizer going to pull the trigger on one of the coco bolo, is it the same price point as the $79 for the kit? When I go on the mistvape site, how do I order one?

Great review, as usual. Could you compare the Bare Essence with the Flam that you reviewed a month ago? I’m considering tapping the VAS vein...at a reasonable hit to the wallet. I used to own a Daisy vaporizer, but didn’t feel that it was getting enough out of the herb in the end.

Just personal preference, but for the vapor porn I wouldn’t edit quite as much. It would be useful to see the heating process and inhale, not just the massive cloud exhale. Good work though!

Edit: Just hit my Supreme 3, ideas are flowing lol....If you want to keep the reviews short and edited, maybe you could add a separate, longer video for the "outtakes" or whatever.

Here are the coco bolo units
EWmaJNX.jpg

and the tulip wood

The other units will have caps from some other wood, probably blood wood. There wasn't enough wood to make all the caps and my main supplier is out of coco bolo and tulip wood.
Also @Tiny88 already purchased one of the coco bolo units. I'll try to get the other two on the site later today.

Holy shit! They look awesome! So happy to have gotten one!

Hey @WakeAndVape can you make a video on the flame technique you are using for the essence. Seems like you have mastered it!

Ah. I found this in a drawer and wasn't sure what it was but the beautiful wood and design limited designer options. So now I know what it is. Unfortunately I really don't like using butane and am considering a butane clearance of my wood vapes. This one though is heading for Vitolo along with an alternate I found in the same drawer. I tend to be slow mailing things which is what gets in the way of my selling any of my vapes. Vitolo doesn't mind if it takes a while for me to activate myself.

But for those who like butane these are quite lovely and reminds me of one of the triihouse vapes. And I think of triihouse as being the progenitor of many of the current wood butane vapes.

Used the Essence with double filtration now and it worked exceptionally well. These are also the new stems I'd been promising to show, the 18mm stems are shown in the Zion thread. They use the standard clear glass stems for secure screens on the bowl end, fused with the colored glass. The green one's connection is imperfect, but it still works fine, while the bent amber stem is great for using the Essence dry too:

Yes this is a great vape! Super simple, effective, efficient, beautiful, and an amazing value. And the Bare Essence may be the best deal around!

Now THAT is an AMAZING deal!

This is by far the best value hands down now and everyone should be grabbing one!

Think I am giving a gift or two...

So it's pretty similar to the Tubo Flam then? Any differences?

The Flam has glass beads in it so as far as I know that is not like any other direct torch convection vape available... The bowl is different as well, the Essence uses 14mm stems (the same ones as the Touch) and WonGs so the bowl is smaller. The glass intakes are different, as well as the wood. Tubo wood is soft wood laser cut and can be painted, Essence wood is hand turned Maple and the sleeved units offer fancier turns of exotic woods with caps too. There could be more differences I missed

I managed to pick up one of the limited edition Coco bolo Mistvape Essence, I have had it for about two weeks now. I have to say that I am LOVING it. Those of you that are familiar with the Lotus and the Sticky Brick lines would definiately appreciate the Essence.

If a Stick Brick and the Lotus had a baby you would get the Mistvape Essence. The breath work is similar to that of the two vapes mentioned above; the way you inhale determines the quality of your vapor. There is one main advantage over the Sticky Brick however and that is there is no taste of butane. The new air inlet tube (totally genius) allows cool air to flow in while you are inhaling so the vapor is warm but smooth. I apply my flame in a 90 degree angle with the tip of the flame just touching the extended part of the intake tube. This technique has worked for me and it has produced huge clouds.

I find that the Essence takes less time to heat up versus the Lotus as the hot air just flows right in as oppose to heating the herbs through a piece of nickel.

Also, I love that when the caps are on that no one really knows that it is a vape.

Anyone that is on the fence about this vape, take the plunge this vape is a beast. This is truly a one of a kind vape and the best part is the price of the unit; $79 for the Essence kit and a little more for the limited editions. Any vaporizer enthusiast should have this in their collection.

Thanks @mistvaporizer for coming up with such a genius vaporizer.

The Essence arrived on Sat morning, coast to coast in 2.x days, thats fast y'all.

Really digging this vape, super simple and now is cloud functioning, at least for me .
I have been macguyvering little mini setups to dissipate the heat a little more evenly and I have settled on using a singgle SS screen from a fury2 mouthpiece, sandwiched between the wong load and the upper screen below the glass insert. Mainly doing this based on my heating source.
To me technique differs between torches and the Hong ming triple flame is my personal favorite at the moment. I have a couple of Eagle single flame types and they take a little more work to extricate, the triple is actually overkill a bit and was giving me hotspots natively. However, once I added the f2 screen and figured out the dance and shake of the flame, lol, this thing finally is ripping and roaring.

Stay safe.
