I'm looking at the E-Nano as my first plug in vape. My portables are a Gaia and Fury 2 as well as a VapCap. I microdose and nearly always at home so the Nano looks like a pretty ideal choice. Do the Nano faithful here at FC think there are other affordable plug-in models I should consider?

Thanks!
I always suggest a log vape to folks and the Enano is the vaporizer I use the most. I like a glass airpath and the vapor flavor that the nano provides. Its easy to use and has hardly any maintenance other than cleaning the stems and wiping the inside of the nano every couple months. I also dump any ABV crumbs that accumulate at the bottom every few days.

The price for the Enano isn’t that expensive for what you get in return. The Enano could last a lifetime. Epicvape (Andy) will be there if you need to utilize your warranty.

I have some GrapeApe in my nano right now and it tastes wonderful.
This will be an investment in your health as well as your wallet. The Enano isn’t a weed hog.:2c::leaf:;pd;

Is there a shop in europe that sells nano stems?

Sadly no, but if you have concerns about international shipping, write them an email, I've had things shipped to europe twice with no problems, and it was affordable too! And it's always free to ask questions ;)

I had an EQ before my nano. It was cheap, well known and had a good rep, and you can get them in different power settings, AC and DC version, so no converters!

But it has its peculiarities (takes long to heat up, works better with the DDave Mod) and for me it was hard to microdose.
The nano is really nice to just leave on and take one hits, with ridiculosly small amounts of material!

I got DDave's CannaCaps kit and now mainly use the EQ for making edibles with that, but that doesn't happen all too often. Still nice to have options.

But the nano is hot faster, and (IMO) sooo much nicer (aesthetically) to me. It's like a lighter (flame). You load a lil' bowl, "flick" on your lighter (around 6.3, 6.5), and after a few minutes you can take massive ripssssssssssssssssss m a n yes. yes yes.

I, too, am proud to be able to admit: I am also NOT a bird!

Basically: the nano is a good investment, you won't need other desktop vapes once you learn all the ways you can use it! And it's correctly priced, and you get this wonderful community for free :D

I just had the first opportunity to test my newly acquired e-Nano. Three stems in a row. Please take the following words with a pinch of salt (it's just the very first impression), but I think that I just had the very best vaping experience of my life. The taste! The pureness! The hit! Did I mention THE TASTE yet? So incredibly satisfying and powerful that I am struggling for words.

I went through my inventory of vapes and counted around 40 different devices. I love many of them, but I never ever had an experience comparable to the one that I just had with the e-Nano and a tiny pinch of medicine. I am very impressed. And I really hope that this incredible satisfaction stays longer than the honeymoon period... Because: I am in love.

That thing has to come over to Europe officially. We need it here. Have mercy!

@Dynavaper Told you so! Dude, I am so happy to hear your first impression. Yeah it hasn't come close to getting old for me, 9 month honeymoon so far. That's what I was trying to express earlier: the Nano keeps my attention and respect, it's so efficient (as long as I stop loading) and powerful but always it's the trip to Flavour Country that leaves me smacking my lips and shaking my head in amazement.

Knowing how you appreciate the small shops like DV, another HUGE advantage is EpicVape. Every interaction I've had with Epic has been lovely. Always a little surprise and maybe a handwritten note from @nadia_epic if you're lucky! Not sure what glass yours came with but I recommend picking up an XL stem. Andy's work is built to last, and he stands behind each one. I love companies that are made of people because they tend to see their customers as people as well. I agree, there is a fertile market over here for a reliable powerhouse that's small and uniquely beautiful as home decor and its power requirements are so low it can be left on all day if you like. I gotta get the aroma cup so my Nano can pull some double duty.

Hey Naddia & @ACE OF VAPE What a sexy new website you have! Didn't know about the High Times award, very cool! Congratulations, it's wonderful that you're getting some well-deserved attention. Please remember us little people, yeah?!

Thanks for the thoughtful endorsements and detailed feedback from more experienced vaporists (Dynavaper, CarolKing, UnevenPizza, Howie, and flu).

@Dynavaper ...I recommend picking up an XL stem.

I was about to add the honeycomb stem. I do enjoy some cooling though and I don't have any water pipes or a J hook yet. Do you think I'd be better served with the long stem even if it means dealing with screens? I don't think he makes a longer all glass one. My usage is light enough that one stem will be enough so I don't anticipate needing the tray with several stems.

Thanks again, folks!

@ACE OF VAPE - I also like the new website but have one suggestion. Now, when an item is out of stock (e.g. the walnut stand) you can't see that its out of stock until you click on it to the order sub-page.

Perhaps it should show that on the first top level page where you first see the product.

Cheers

I usually go with a long piece of silicone tubing and cut the whip down till I find the right length for whatever vape I using. Bonus, as a convicted serial glass killer I can't break them. Downsides, even with cleaning them after every use they eventually need replacement.

Current version of a long whip used for some curing bud, Its a little too green to vape but I just couldn't wait.

You can make your stems longer by adding a mouthpiece. I connect the mouth piece to the stem using a small section of silicone tubing like howie105 shows above me ^, that way it can easily be removed for cleaning. In between them I place a small round screen to catch any debris that makes it thought the first screen.

I tried the organic cotton + wax combo the other evening through my d020 and it was VERY smooth. Thanks for the help guys!

Maybe I'm late to the party or maybe I'm a crazy person, but has anyone used something like the 7th floor flavordisc with the Nano? The small size from 7th floor looks to be around 1mm larger than the GonG for the Nano.

Could I order those and slightly modify them to make them fit?

Is this a bad idea?

Is the cotton just as good, if not better?

just_the_flu

they say im crazy but i have a good time
...the 7th floor flavour disk is much larger than what can fit into the nano, not sure if you could cut/shave the flavour disk to the right diameter??

...i believe the best option for concentrates in the nano is cotton or hemp fiber.... or the obvious herb bed :D

...i've smushed a S&B concentrate pad to use in nano gong but hemp/cotton is much better and EASIER to work with and replace...

A long stem and a J hook are both nice pieces to have. Which is better is based on preference. However, one day might feel like a J hook day while another day you'll think of that long stem and wish you had bought one (like me). Which ever you get, you'll probably end up getting the other when GAS sets in.

I will say that my preference is for the adjustable model for both stems and gongs. To me the adjustable gives you more variety of bowl size. I know there are many people who prefer the glass screen. They could tell you the benefits more than I can. You can add a metal screen on top to reduce getting bits and pieces in your mouth. Regardless you will need to deal with screens. Even a J hook usually has a gong or is attached to a bubbler that may have its own screen.
Plus, the adjustable is cheaper.

@howie105 God damn that is one hell of a bowl dude.

Hey guys and gals i've had my e nano for a few months now and really love it.I have only used it with the glass stems with the movable screens and just wanted to post an observation i had.I dont know if anyone else has notice this, looking at the posts here and not seeing any mention wanted to give a heads up.I was cleaning my stem the other day and noticed when i put the screen back in a very tiny piece of the frayed wire from the edge of the screen broke off and was on the inside glass on the end you would inhale on.It was so tiny that most wouldnt notice it but you would inhale it if you used the stem. This worried me and i want people who vape with the dry stems to be aware that this happens and the wire is so small that if you dont check you stem you very well could inhale one of those frayed strands and not realize it.I love my e nano, but using it with the movable dry stems i think im done with.Has anyone else encountered this?Seem like it can happen pretty easily with the edges of the screens.I think i will use the fixed stems, without screens, and invest in a water piece for filtering.I'm really interested in peoples thoughts and observations.

Its never been a concern of mine but to be safe I ran through my collection of stems, screened adapters and loose backup screens (9 screens total) and none of them looked like they were or had lost any pieces of wire except for maybe one I was using as a reducer in an ELB for my LSV. Don't know that for sure that but I will keep my eyes open, thanks for the heads up.

Straight stem every day for me now. I will keep an eye out for this but it won't change my method. The draw is restricted enough that you would probably catch it in your mouth rather than inhale it....:2c:

Your probably right, but wanted to make people aware since the strands can be very tiny and easily missed if your not aware it can happen.I think im going to try using a bong with it to see if i like it.Not really a fan of the fixed stems as you tend to pull a little into your mouth from time to time, more if you grind finer.

Well, my original eNano purchased back in May of 2015 has failed. I noticed a couple of days ago that the cord would separate from the eNano much more easily than it did in the past. I chalked that up to wear and tear and didn't think much of it. That is, until I took a closer look at the connector on the eNano. The electrical connector itself has cracked and pieces are gone, allowing the lower pin to float about freely.

Here are a couple of pics at slightly different angles:

I guess it's a good thing I have a spare eNano to bring out of storage while I wait to get a replacement on this one.

The older the screen is the better the chance that this could happen. When this happen to me the screen was about two months old and had been cleaned and put back into the stem mabye 4 times so the edges were more frayed than a brand new screen.Probably should replace them sooner as the more you take them out to clean the more fraying you'll get and the better chance that you might get a stray wire in your vapor path.

@Deano420 as your stem gets a nice coating of sticky goodness the particles will stop reaching your mouth. The screen will stay put better also. I rarely get anything in my mouth but it doesn't bother me if I do. Either spit or chew! I thought the stem was cumbersome as well when I first got mine. I used a bubbler D20 for probably a year. I don't know why I tried the stem again but it was a game changer for me. I never use the bubbler anymore and feel that I get a much better result with the stem. I call it my glass blunt!

I'll still use the stem as that's the way i really enjoy the e nano, but will replace the screens more often. When the wire bit happened to me i had just cleaned the stem and screen in iso and put the screen back in.Since the glass was clean i could see the tiny silver wire strand stuck to the glass a little above the basket in the vapor path.If it was dirty i would not have noticed,so just wanted to make people aware since i dont see anybody else posting this happening to them.

I think I cleaned my stem once. As soon as it was used it went back to the way it looked. I just heat it by giving a good draw empty and push the stem out. It comes out easier warm. It will scrape out most of the debri and like I said it holds the screen better.

I also like just using the nano with the stem but I clean mine often and clean the screen at the same time with 99% ISO. I just pour the ISO in the stem and shake it and repeat another time, then I rinse with hot water. A clean stem gives off better vapor flavor IMO. Whatever way works for you - that’s the right way.

It’s always good to have a back up nano - when “oh shit” happens.:2c::leaf:
