Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

Well-Known Member
I have had my Fury2 for a couple of weeks now. This little dude is a jewel! I don't even mind the battery life. I have to charge in the afternoon, then again at bedtime, that is just not a big deal to me. One of the reasons I when with the Fury2 was the WPA but I have found out that I prefer the plastic MP. The WPA has better taste but not enough for me not to use the main MP. I was planning on using the WPA for micro doses but I have found out using a basket screen is just as good with the Plastic MP. I had several screens that I use with my nano and that worked fine. I'm now waiting for the doseing caps.

.

I agree with this. Screen lightly packed with standard MP gives me around 4 rips. Take 2, turn it off and a nice buzz. Another 2 rips later on.

so when will the capsules be out?
We should already have these dosing capsules - but the first set of samples were slightly too big and were getting caught in the chamber. This has been corrected and we are waiting for the next set of samples that should be here next week. Once we approve them - it takes a couple of weeks to mass produce them. Please be patient - we usually meet our deadlines :)

Hi All, Ok - we finally think it's safe to say that we have done enough testing and plenty of fighting over the feature list for the FIERCE. There are so many things to consider - you really have to look at the pros and cons of each feature and find that perfect blend that makes all (or most) users happy. We think that we have it just right and we hope you all agree. We will start the FIERCE thread tomorrow - but for now - here is a sneak peek (please keep in mind that this is a FIERCE prototype and is not a 'finished' product):

Our timeline for the FIERCE release is June, 2018

The FIERCE is not a replacement for the portable FURY 2 - they compliment each other very well.
More to come tomorrow in the FIERCE thread :)

All the Best!

Count me in no matter what, but boy would it be nice if that had a proportionally sized bowl!

While it would be nice that extras fit for both and were interchangeable, I'd gladly pay for a set of both for a larger bowl....and removable batteries

I'm also in agreement with @paytonpenn on the wpa, one that snapped on like the standard mp and used the same silicone/filter would be ideal!

No worries @lookhigh, We have been taking suggestions from all of you for months as we have been crafting the FIERCE! The feature set is loaded but sensible - we will be posting all the information and pictures later today when we create the FIERCE thread. We will also post a short demo video of the FIERCE prototype in action :)

See you on the other side...goodnight!

I for one welcome our new hype overlords. Guess I'll be checking for the new thread once an hour or so.

had a quick sesh.
i did my usual: around 0.1g at 390, to have a nice check.
something in this device is done just right. for me at least.
i suspected the air flow might be a bit restricted,
but it was pin point right.
it's not huge as the Tubo's flow, but it's not needed, and even draws less heat.
because i had 0% throat irritation. i get these with the Tubo+ long stem.
that was my biggest surprise, that MP.
that specific material @HealthyRips.com is using along with the MP design,
somehow does the job.
i'm afraid the Tubo (which is excellent, apart from throat irritation and tedious portability with the stems) will go to rest atm.
and when these capsules be available...

anyway:

Cloudy...
So going for my first cleaning of the mp. My plan is to iso soak the glass and the screen. Is it safe to clean the silicone parts (blue and white ones) with a q-tip with iso and quickly put them under water and dry?

How you clean the outside of the mp? I know we can't use iso there, but small parts at the bottom and the outhole have a bit of resin, how will you clean that? I got spoiled always using iso or pbw and not sure how to take care of plastics...

I feel that done as you describe it is wonderful.
I use a shop vac to dry pieces.
IT TAKES practice to dry small pieces at the orifice of the hungry shop vac, so if you give it a try, hang on tight!

Hey Vito!
Have you tried holding a sock (clean! :uhoh:) over the nozzle of your vac to make this sort of thing MUCH easier, especially for those with challenged coordination?

It's handy for simply picking things up or cleaning sawdust and the like from surfaces which have small items which you don't want to vanish into 'the maw' too.

I have used my wife's stockings, but rarely describe it, as patients that try generally lose the stocking. Perhaps the sock's thickness will give them more to hang on to!

you can turn the flow around on the vac and make the air come out of the hose instead of sucking in... just screw the hose on the air outlet...

Not wanting to dry my equipment with blowing air... Suction prevents spot, and does a faster job.
It is not just a household vacuum cleaner, it is an industrial shop-vac with 7 Horsepower...
I do have a few air blowers, and hair dryers for forward air motion.
