Conscience (not consciousness) enhancement

Does anyone else notice this psychological effect? Being too self-critical? Maybe related to paranoia. Seems to be strain-dependent.

New plant seems great otherwise. Strong and delicious. Did an early dab, but felt so lazy about leaving work undone. Couldn't enjoy it, went back to work! Built-in buzzkill.

Is it guilt? What are the physiological symptoms you experience?

If you have any natural guilt about being lazy when you use Cannabis, the buzz can augment those feelings.

Yes - in this case, the feelings of guilt were disproportionate to the importance of the neglected work.

Yea, Cannabis can definitely make guilt much worse. It can get to the point of a panic attack.

I would recommend not consuming Cannabis if you have any guilty feelings, but if you only get the after consuming, trying to distract yourself with music or a video game can help.

Nah, playing a video game would definitely produce lazy guilt. It's okay, once you know it's an effect - like paranoia. Still harshes the buzz.

This plant was a champion. More than a gram of flower per watt. Wanted to clone her. Still have a few seeds (and about a years' worth of flower), but less interested now.

That’s true. It might increase the guilt of laziness. I just suggested it because they usually require full focus, which is what you need to distract yourself. Perhaps something beneficial that also requires focus will help, like getting some form of work done while buzzed.

Something else that helps, is gettig your work done before using Cannabis. That way you feel like you accomplished your days worth of work already, and have earned the relaxation.

That's a good tip, thanks. Feeling overwhelmed with interesting but time-sensitive projects. Getting stuck with the nor'easter and no charger didn't help.

Also, curing this flower, so effects may improve. This first batch is from freeze-dried fresh.

I would suggest THCA from a Sativa strain is your problem.

I suggest the following as possible solutions :

Vape strains with less Sativa (more hybrids). Vape a little CBD with the THC strains.

If the problem is with edibles, decarb at 240 F for 40 minutes to convert the THCA to THC.
