When first got my dual, display was upside down too. Five clicks unit off, pressed and held + & - my screen flashed on, flipped orientation then turned off again. After that it was fine when I clicked five times to turn on again. Tbh sound like that's what you've done already :hmm:

For some reason i tried it twice more and it finally worked. Not certain if it was user error or software error but it is working now.

how long does it normally take to receive the tubo evic after purchase?

Could some one please advise me on how to acquire a tubo as I’ve messaged about one on there website weeks ago no reply and today still nothing quite annoying really or am I missing something thanks
there's a website you can purchase from but there's a waiting period as from when you purchase and from when you receive your tubo

Figure this is a good time to post pics of my dual I've been slacking on taking. Been waiting for natural light pics but yea yea super busy during day and every time I'm free it's shitty out.

Works wonderfully - that @VapeFiend.com mouthpiece is my daily, and lately I've been joint packing instead of using the capsules.

That amazon camera case I mentioned fits my dual, one of each type of jyarz (idk about satchmo+grinder but will see shortly... however that may give up smell!), a vapcap or 2 (I can get my 98mm stem to fit... and actually both of my other ones, so 3 vapcaps!) and a torch lighter (or 2), and a doobtube for abv. Also can fit a spare film canister with actual film, so if I'm walking and have the pack, and my camera around my shoulder it won't be terribly impractical just to look normal either! haha

Only bad news is that lil bit of beech fell off cos I poked it w a usb charger n slight pressure damage it seems (birch pretty soft I guess) right around the button :) I've been thinking about maybe painting this one myself a lil custom dealie so no biggie, but will see.

Anyway, tubo still my favorite. That lil case fits all my necessary EDC vapes and plenty of stash so that's why I'm psyched on it. I haven't actually measured, but if I was to guess, I get 6ish full stempacks (.15 maybe each) from a full set. Been using VTC6s but just switched to 30Qs.

I'll try to remember to test and get nice pictures sometime

edit: anyone notice that the usb port + button area looks kinda like a lil happy dude?

Joined the Tubo club a couple days ago. Didn’t splurge for priority shipping so it might be a few weeks, but here is the color scheme I picked up, blue wood with orange evic.

I’ve owned a solid collection of vapes over the past few years and am transitioning from my past daily driver milaana, which I charred by pinning the button down for 15 minutes. The device still works fine, but has a charred taste, so my VAS took over and I ordered a Tubo to expand the collection. I have a feeling it will become my favorite of all time.

I will report back when it arrives and I hope I don’t regret not getting a dual!

15 minutes a serious pull my friend. :p

Welcome, love my single battery Tubo and never thought about getting the dual when announced. Your used to the Mi's single battery and probably have ample supply to keep the Tubo going anyways. I like it's fit in my hand, Dual adds some bulk, although they do have the option to run with one battery as well, and the sweet stir stick spot.

Quick question about the logo.
I probably have to upload the logo still, cause I can turn the logo on or off, choose top or middle position, but no logo shows.
My question is what is omitted when the logo is displayed? I saw at around 1:41 of @WakeAndVape 's video, I can see the logo up top, a dead ass battery level below, :p , tcr setttings and junk in the middle. Does the logo replace the Temp setting display? Could not see that on the screen.

I wish my lungs could handle a 15 minute hit, but it was actually during transport in my center console of my car. Didn’t take the battery out like an idiot and it was pinned against a glasses case. Didn’t realize it was firing until I stopped at a light and saw smoke coming from the center console. That fact that it still works is impressive.

You’re right that I’ll be good with the single Tubo, coming from a single 18650 device like the milaana. And also moving from the milaana to the dual would be a pretty big size jump. And I have multiple batteries and a good charger, so I’m good to go (except I obviously had to decommission the battery that was in the 15 minute milaana fire)

Now I have my smaller and damaged milaana for on the go, and can keep the Tubo safe at home as my “cordless desktop”.

By the way, picked up this adapter that I think will make a good vapor cooling mouthpiece for the size:

This would be used dry. I love the properties of long dry air paths. Cool vapor without the loss of flavor from water.

@SloJimFizz the TCR 185 M1 line, and temp setting is what the logo covers when displayed... after a few seconds of no button pressing.

What is the number after the TCR? I changed mine from 185 to 200 and my TUBO got hot enough to char the load. Lowered it to 195, but still have no idea what it is. I read the Joytech manual, but it was short on details.

@sickmanfraud the M1 setting is 185 (think M2 & M3 are set to this by default also). It's allows you to set a value to match the material of the coil you're using...

80-200 is for SS coils and you can set others for coil materials such as Ti (200-300) and Nickel (600-700) etc. I left mine at 185 as default...

Tbh the only setting I've changed in either of my Tubo's is temp. Haven't messed with anything else and they work beautifully

Same here, just temp change out of the box.Flip the screen and basic stuff
Managed to update it a month or two ago. 185 is my M1 setting as well.
Tried to upload the logo today, but it kept saying "LOGO should be of a single color bmt!" when trying to open it in updater. Did find the Screensaver option and turned it on. The clock is pretty cool, poltergeist screen works, but no logo screen saver. So, no logo for me and its no biggie.
Also, the Flappy Bird game in the Evic if youve found that, how the hell do you control the bird to move between the pipes? :haw:

My Dual’s resistance changes every time I swap batteries, even though the resistance is locked. If I forget to check it, I either get nothing or it gets red-hot instantly. I’m wondering if re-loading the firmware might fix it. Has anybody run into this?

Also, the resistance written on the unit is .212, but I’m currently running it at 2.32, and thinking about bumping it a bit more to better match my OG Tubo. No big deal, but thought I’d mention it, as it seems extreme. I don’t recall having to adjust it by this much initially. :myday: Perhaps it’s related to the former issue(?).
please check in 'menu>coils>manage' that Check is set to 'No'.
do you have your tubo in a very cold place?
the resistance change from my recommended one is indeed a bit high. if it gets worse over time i will have to look over it, that would point to a connection being lose. what resistance does it change to after reinserting the battery?

about the flipping, yeah sometimes it does not want to flip. i found that a recent 5clicks off works better than waiting when its off to hold down the buttons.

yeah, tubo dual face is a bit happier than the og ones :D

the capsule stems are still not ready. we have a lead on manufacturing them thanks to @Padriano!
today i had an additional idea for the wood stems and thought its a good occasion to show how everything works:

Confirmed it is set to “No”.

No, it’s indoors, at 70F. Also, just to be clear, it’s the Dual. My OG Tubo is fine.

Pulled the battery 4 times, and got; .386, .387, .405, and .403. Previously, it’s dropped too low to produce heat, but lately just the high numbers.

And, I’d love to try the wood stem and capsules. Very cool. Would it be possible to produce that type of stem without the glass protruding, as an option? That would make the Tubo much more portable, IMO, and I’d definitely order both.

That walk and 3 jumps you did with the stem was pretty funny. That thing looks great. Man, just placed an order for a few bent stems and the gong. Need to get this

I see you have a SH flowerpot back there, I have one as well and its my current desktop vape and im in love with it. Im looking for a nice portable that will mostly be used around the house that can produce some serious clouds like the FP can. I know that it wont be AS good as the FP but is it at all comparable?

I don't find it fair to compare them since it takes like 4+ hits to kill 0.15g in a tubo but can kill that in 1 hit in a FP.

The tubo is a beast though..It and a vapcap are my DD when I'm not roasting away with my showerhead.

You will get big clouds and serious flavor from your tubo and I do find the effects of a 0.15g session in my tubo as compared to my FP are a bit less lazy. Tubo is great no matter how you use it. I had actually put my SH away the past few days and was fine w tubo and vapcaps (and dabs)

Hey dudes, I have been lurking for a while on this thread but I just wanted to say how pleased I am with my Tubo Evic that I got in the mail yesterday. I have been able to run about 6 bowls through it and I slightly burned the first bowl by starting too high but apart from that it has been really efficient and running smooth. It's so nice being able to quickly finish a bowl in a couple of hits. It was getting pretty annoying having to breath in hot air for like 10 minutes to finish a bowl with my CF while also wasting herb when I'm not hitting it and coughing. Convection/On-demand ftw, the Tubo has everything I could ask for in a vape :)

I usually get a device too hot warning whenever I use the whip or shinny mp, is this something I just have to live with or is there some tweaking of a setting that can alleviate this?

How’s everyone using their dual? I’m usually someone who likes everything petite and unobtrusive but I love that 2 battery configuration. It’s so hefty and solid, I’m super surprised I prefer that configuration.
