Your favorite on demand vape.

I use the E-nano as an On Demand vape doing just that, though I have yet to really like it very much. I cannot find the sweet spot and though I get cloud production, flavor is meh.

Try a glass core heater Bamboo HI from @Alan with a glass stem roasting tube . clouds are there and flavour is phenomenal! Priced at a steal too , he sometimes has some available.

Very little flower being used in this video. Check out the other 2 vid's while there !

Sticky Brick OG, or Hydromaxx would be my number 1 choice. It's effortless, and minimal messy cleaning operation, as long as you keep it reasonably clean ie, empty bowl, use brush etc after each session run a pipe cleaner through the SS tube, and a cotton tip with some fairy and water in the shotgun hole. For some reason there doesn't seem to be anywhare near as much oily gunk in the smoke path. The actual glass mouthpiece is the only bit that tends to get stained, so I've got a habit of running an alcohol wipe through the mouthpiece, on the end of a dowel.

Joint favourite, Dynavap Vapcap, have three. Fantastic things.

Also really up there, Lotus Convection Pipe, an oldie but goody.

Looking for a Milaana, and an Ed's T'n'T Woodscent, and I think that will do.

I also have a Davinci IQ, a S&B Crafty, and a Firefly 2. I find them all unsatisfactory in some way.
I find the Firefly difficult to draw, I've watched vids, tried all sorts, and it's too much bother getting it rght.
The IQ, is overly complex, bakes your herb, tastes ok but once again is difficult to get the fill not too tight, not to loose. I got a glass spacer, but they are hard work, have to go in after the herb, and you've still got a fairly big ten minute session. It is really hard work, and not consistent at all.
Lastly the Crafty, by Storz&Bickell. This is the only one of the three I could recommend to a friend. It's primarily a conduction vape, with a little convection, but it's not fussy like the other two, loose or tight pack will both work, and despite appearances, the vapour path is somehow more cooled than the others.

Compare these over complicated devices to the butane torch powered devices I have chosen, they are simple to use, easy to smoke, intuitive, ans easy to keep clean. They provide instant vapour, and are extremely efficient, so you conserve your herb.

I know it sounds hypocritical to rain on battery vapes, and then say I want a Milaana, and a Woodscent, but I want the Milaana spalted for it's beauty, and the reviews suggest it is really good.
The Woodscent can sit on my desk, and be an extension of my Dynavap kit. :-)

Zion, Splinter and VapCap for on the move and Herbie at home on rare occasions.

@RastaBuddhaTao should be selling Splinters again in a few weeks and a highly recommend it. Pair that with a VapCap M and you could get two stellar portable on demand vapes with two very diffrent vapor signatures. Plus, one is torch powered, and one is battery powered. Both together can be had at around $200 or less i believe.

Any criteria's? Are accesories aloud or stock vape. I don't find have to put a torch to my vapcap for 20seconds very on demand... it demands my time and effort yes ..
Just to kind of specify here, I was going for on demand units only. The only real requirement I see for on demand is that the unit must not waste or heat your material when you are not using it. For the sake of this poll, I was also kind of aiming for flower use only.

Nice result, Greeny!

I'm only looking for the GG#4 by Dark Horse Genetics. There is a lot of BS at the market with more the name than the real genetics. DHG shall be the real genetics. Still looking for seeds or cuttings. Sorry for OT.

Is this an on demand unit though? Will the unit heat your material if you leave it on and walk away?

It can be on demand, the only way it would heat the material when you walk away would be if you set the Tubo in cruise mode. Otherwise, if you just pull the trigger it is true on demand.

I will be making a simple poll for "most liked or used on demand vape for flower" but first I am trying to round up most of the best or popular options. I will make a poll and link here once they are all in. This is the current list:

Dynavap Vapcaps
Milaana
Splinter
Sticky Bricks
Elev8R
Enano Log
The Tubo
MFLB
Firewood 4
Zion
MistVape Touch
Nomad
Firefly 2
Grasshopper
Ghost MV1
FlowerPot
ModPod

The only real requirements I had in mind would be:

1. Cannot waste or heat material when not triggered by user.
2. Looking for best flower usage for the sake of this specific poll.

Surely, there are many missing from this current list so lets round them all up. Let us know what we should be adding.

they say im crazy but i have a good time
...i would seriously look at something like rbt splinter or modpod(think renamed though) as they are 510 atomizers... if your after a portable device...

...i lost interest in portables, but these atomizers have re-peaked my interest... especially with rbt tech, milaana was by far the best portable i've tried, that heater on a regulated mod :whoa:

I fail to see how using a smelly, noisy and burn inducing device running on non-renewable energy, that makes you look like a crack-head and attracts cops from 2km away, qualifies as the best vaping experience (and that's also aimed at the VapCap etc.)

Torches are the opposite of stealth. Playing with fire evokes Stone Age to me. Fuck combustion, in all its forms!

We probably all get your point here. However two things to point out here. The list above is not in anyway in any order yet. I plan to do the poll after building the list. The butane heated vapes "like them or not" are still on demand vapes that don't waste your material when you are not applying heat. Therefor for this poll I think they certainly qualify.

However a portable non butane list would be cool too.

I agree with everything that's being said about using a torch in public, how the Dynavap looks like a "crack pipe" etc.
I don't use these in public (well sometimes the Dynavap, in a shop doorway at night, you only need a small torch lighter for that). This is aided by UK law which forbids smoking in pubs, cafes etc. So outside each bar is a clot of people puffing away at Cigarettes, Ecigs, big vapes etc. Ideal camouflage once you're vaping
I'm simply putting forward my choice for vapes that provide instant (virtually) vapour, and don't continue to off gas your herb while you're not drawing.
Some people have said that torch vapes are dirty and smelly. this is simply not true, I've been puffing at my Sticky Brick for about a month, and all I've had to clean is the mouth tube, that gets residue in a sort of mist on the side, very hot water and a bottle brush, or iso wipe on the dowel poke through removes it instantly.
I can't undersatand why, but the vapour path, from the wooden bowl, doesn't get very sticky or gunky at all.
There is a stainless steel tube, about a inch and half long, which joins the bowl to the vapour chamber, that gets a minor residue buildup.
I gave it a full leisurely clean the other day, easy, and less than ten minutes.

Honestly folks I really urge you to try The Sticky Brick, or The Dynavap. They are effortless, and such a great taste, and there is nothing gucky about them.

As I said, I have a Firefly 2, I find it hard to draw, but I could't use it for stealth anyway, it looks like a drug piece.
I can easy get away with the Crafty and The IQ, and have done several times outside. My mates were singularly unimpressed with either of these, and mocked me for spending so much on things that didn't work that well.
Since then, a few have visited me at home, and they are all in love with both the Brick and the Dynavap.

Cheers all, John W

ps. @LabPong, I've been looking seriously at the Elev8r, it looks great. A good idea for the heat source, I can see that irregular tip working well. It looks quality, and the little clip come stand. I thought it was quite expensive, and that, with my record with glass, wouldn't last long. So, I don't think I can get it in the UK yet, Namaste, and Vapefiend don't have it. As I say, it would be easy to break, and I tend to do that with glass :-)
I'd love to hear more about it though, so if you want to say some more about it, I'd love to hear more :-).

I guess it depends on what is deemed "portable".....and "portable's" have many ways you can use them....not all are out in the public. So if you deem portable to mean ok to use out on the street in public....then I would agree with you.....torching a vape of any size/kind in public probably not the best instant on demand portable vape. ;)

Also the thread is asking "what is your favorite on demand vape". Not what is the best portable stealth on demand vape. Right?

That said, the Elev8R is by far the absolute best vaping experience for me....because the vapor is the best for me. I do not get any throat irritations during or after taking extremely large draws of smooth vapor that medicates me higher and quicker than any vape......that's why I made my statement of what is MY FAV on demand vape. But dont worry, your still a friend.

Head over to the Elev8R Thread to discuss more. This is not the correct thread and I do not want to break the rules or go off topic. Lots of info over there.

KeroZen,
You know fully well ya don't have to look like a crack head using an induction heater:D:peace:

haaaaaa so freaking true. It is amazing at the responses I get from a couple friends when they saw the IH and using the vapcap with it. It was like a super clean highly advanced healthy vape that was cool to use. Then in direct opposite feelings, they get a nose in the air look when the torch comes out and they regress into feelings of addicts in an alleyway shooting up in the grime of the city. haaaaaa

That said, I do not want to use a torch if I do not have to.

Of course! I'm just trolling! :p

I do even own a VapCap, but it's the one from the original crowdfunding campaign and it's nowhere like what the current models are (super restricted draw, hard to use carb, silicone soft mouthpiece etc) I never fell in love with it, but I've been told several times it's not fair to compare it to the most elaborate models that came afterwards.

I would consider my Elev8R much more instant on than my NewVape flowerpot.

How long does it take to get a hit out of the Elev8r?

I tested my Flowerpot from cold the other night, and by the time the bowl was loaded I was already basically at temp and getting great vapor. Can it vape completely through whole unground bud or do you not count that prep time in your time to get a hit?

I do not get any throat irritations during or after taking extremely large draws of smooth vapor that medicates me higher and quicker than any vape.....

Does that mean you are using the Elev8r dry and get none of those irritations? Or do you still use it through water? I'd love a vape so smooth I could get giant dry tokes, a few members told me the elev8r vapor was too hot to use dry but I'm curious about your experience.

Anyone touch their vapcap tips after a cycle or two ? It's freakin hot and for that reason I always complete the load rather then let it sit in the hot chamber . Might not off gas but it sure feels like it could still slowly extract terp's while it's cooling down. Much rather start with a fresh load in vapcap in my opinion being such a small bowl .

It's kind of like the cigarette looking "one hitter" in combusting days , not much a bowl to save and sto away till next hit, unless you like smoking ashes / vaping abv .

You know after using the sv3 a lot the vapcap seems positively cool by comparison. It's kind of rediculous how cool it seems to me.

Can I nominate my B1 ?

It’s like a log had sex with a flowerpot and the offspring was better than both the parents :D

Seriously, this thing can be subtle or melt your face clean off.

Heat up time 10 seconds.

Unfortunately there is only one on earth so I’m gonna loose the poll. :(

@szai , I’m still not calling it The Brown Note or Bomber or anything bomb or poo related. :shit:

For mass produced... for me, FF2

You can call it whatever you want but that's gonna be my head canon name for it! You don't get to decide my head canon bro! Though if you make me one you'll be influencing my head canon for sure!
