Discontinued Utopia Desktop Herbal & Oil Vaporizer

Awesome to hear. Samurai Sam and DieHard's performance videos do look intriguing. But just not for $700. The VapeXhale EVO uses an all glass airpath but is 1/2 the Utopia cost.

But like said I'm looking forward to trying if the price is actually justifiable.

I have to disagree, it still uses a stainless basket and because of that we can’t say it’s all glass, none the less a great Vaporizer. On the other hand the Odyssey is hand built in The US having, an all glass body, an all glass air path and on top of that it is 100% Made in America. Two distinct vaporizers in distinct sections of the industry.

You can’t compare them.

I wasn't comparing them whatsoever.

The only reason I mentioned it was because you said the high price was due to the all glass air path.

The Glass Symphony is an all glass body except for stainless steel screen and also 1/2 the cost of the Utopia too. Jojo Monkey is supposedly working on all glass bowl as well.

I never said price was high because of the air path, I stated the price is high because of the air path materials used and every part of it being hand built in the USA even the controller.

As far as the the glass symphony is concerned not the same. They are using a design based on the Odyssey but its not the same. I am not wiling to talk about our materials used publicly so that other companies can start marketing them before we release our products but i can assure not the same.

I suggest to look at the Vriptech heat wand it could be what you are looking for. All glass and well below $300

And don't forget the legendary Mark McCoy of Vriptech! His system offers a glass screen and 100% all glass. But also let us remeber the crucial thing-every vape can be so different despite apparent similarities and traits. Take the Elev8r for example which I am currently enjoying thoroughly. There is somehing very special about the vapor and effects, and quite different to the Glass Symphony.

If the Elev8r heater could be temp controlled and work exactly the same (in wild theory) it would be really special. It really beats anything else I ever tried (or anybody else so far?) on flavour when you heat it just right. Tough to judge always.
So who knows what the (sorry Im confused-is it Utopia or Odessy?) will bring to the table. It could be truly, truly special.

There is plenty of room for next level. This COULD be it (until NEXT level hehe!)
I look very forward to more revelation on this one. I just know at some point @lazylathe will surely have to try this vape out, I look very forward to that day.

There will never be a one and only or one and done vape IMO. All vapes have their own signature and that's one of the cool things about them. Variety is the spice of life. :D

...BUT $700? The site says $1K?!!?!?!

The FP made sense to a lot of us because we already owned coils and controllers for dabbing.

Going to be hard to convince me the Utopia is equal or better than an FP.

That’s just a place holder for the 1k price point it is not actual, but what’s an FP?

Right on. But still $400 for a starter kit.

@Danksta we can’t compare the two. One is Ti the other Glass. I would like to see what the cost of the unit would be when made from glass and not Ti. When they hand build each controller, hand build each heater, hand machine each FP. Things would look different then.

As for the Odyssey out performing anything, think about it if all glass air path is desired and glass outperforming Ti in every category wouldn’t the Odyssey already be on top?

The Odyssey will outperform everything and anything in the market that’s what’s it’s made for. Now not saying everyone will agree but that is what every builder shoots for.

If one has there own Enail , not everything is needed in that starter kit to get going. A buyer with there own nail can get by for under $200 to get started. The basics are the head and nut and bowl and than someone can use there own glass and enail. The quality of the titanium parts are top notch. Personally i like glass allot but i feel with something i am always moving , taking on and off a bowl while medicated can break easy although i would love to try all glass and been following the Utopia for some time now.

That’s fine but if a buyer has nothing then $400 is the starting point. Let’s compare apples to apples.

The Utopia/Odyssey is in a different league. In fact I couldn’t compare the Odyssey to anything because of its features puts it in its own league at the moment.

The closest others come to the Odyssey or the Odyssey comes to are other full fledged desktops, like the VB1, VH, Vriptech and a few others.

Actually, you did say one of the reasons for it's high price is due to the all glass air path.

Here is a screenshot of your own words that your now denying. https://imgur.com/a/z1uNd

Also, you appear stuck up acting as if I can't afford this vaporizer.

Ill spend $700 on flowers faster than most likely anyone on this forum.

The reason I'm so focused on the price, is purely because its not justifiable for what we know about this vaporizer so far. Unless it provides such potent effects to justify $700 then I'm not changing my thoughts.

Also, why can't you discuss the materials used if its an all glass body and air path? Isn't it 100% glass??

@MileHighHuman

I suggest you reread what you posted and what i answered.

Here is you. You stated that i said " it was the reason for the price"

And here is you confirming what i said.

And also the key word is one of the reasons. It is not the only reason for its price difference.

Also no one is stuck up, I am here to discuss a vaporizer we are building. In no shape or form have I said that you can and cant afford it.

As far as price you stated your opinion and that is fine but keeping on the same line is not needed in fact against forum rules. You do not like the price then move on, its not for you.

As far as design its all glass. Nothing else needs to be mentioned until time of release.

Love the tone of your words @THC SCIENTIFIC , not stuck up at all .

I'll admit I'm a skeptical bastard. Not hiding the bastard

Not sure how tone can be taken from words over a forum but you are mistaken as it is not my intention.

@steama it is not $1000 once again it’s a place holder.

All this price talk is redundant IMO... what matters is the final product. And until that device is really ready for sale or pre-view and demonstrates its capability nothing else matters. If it's the absolute tits it will be worth it!

@THC SCIENTIFIC enjoyed your presence and knowledge on Hash Church 2.0 the other week! What a treat that was with Linus, Mark, Seibo etc!!! It's amazing how fast a decade flies man! I've been here with you guys since it all started.

Thank you Bio and because of the show me and Linus decided to resume talks on working together. We have big plans. Just wait.

I deserve it guys I really do. But it’s getting done. For sure.

Timeline to stoke my anticipation? ;)

Anymore questions for the community? I commented in Linus' VB thread as well, because from watching the Hash Church episode, and seeing some of his comments in his thread, it seems like some major things are being missed, from the convection concentrate experience anyways. It's not as difficult as it seems. I've been rocking a simple little basic log vape as my dabbing device that has made everything else including an e-nail redundant for me. I look forward to seeing what your collab with Linus comes up with!

We are working on a few things but while I wait for the Odyssey updates, I’m testing the vb2.5 and see how we can improve it.

As convection goes I understand it’s the best but it does have its drawbacks. The VB2.5 which we are working on is conduction perfection once I’m done with it but we will discuss that in the vb2.5 thread when I get the latest prototypes.

As for the Odyssey, I have updated the bowl once more and reducing something’s on the body to help save costs. It should be the convection vape you want when it’s done.

Convection isn't necessarily "the best" IMO. Some radiant heat or conduction can actually improve efficiency, and potency. I was testing this with the supreme v3 with convection dabs with a lot of radiant and conductive heat vs pure full on convection dabs with the e-nano. Interesting differences, and as you know pressure makes the world of difference here.

It should be the convection vape you want when it’s done.

Thanks for continuing to innovate and maintaining your presence here!
