Yeah I tried some pollen last year. I cant tolerate it at all though, not sure if it is due to any potential fertiliser residues I would certainly be allergic to (very likely), or if it is just the nature of pollen.

But yes the experience was fantastic in the Omnivap. I only needed a few small crumbs, and I would get 5 large hits, basically more big hits than from a packed flower bowl.
And it was easier than ever to repeatedly get perfect hits every time, never too hot but full and thick.

I still have some here but no intention of touching at again soon.
I would gladly take it of your hands, just to test it of course.

Yes but unfortuntaely that also includes my stash!:ugh:
you best get growing and hording. :myday:

it makes me paranoid thinking about inhaling hexavalent chromium from using a torch on stainless steel!
If you brought a Vapcap tip and cap to anywhere remotely near the extreme temps needed to off gas, (read welding), you might burn your lips...

Edit: Oh, and you should seriously consider eye protection as well.

Damn team dynavap cleared this one out with the quickness!! Like an elite mobile torch powered taskforce of vaporization field experts.

Mods pleaaasse pretty please give us a laugh button for great posts like this. I had snot coming out of my nose and hitting the like button just seems insufficient to express the joy this gave me.

@invertedisdead I really enjoyed the shit outta that.

What exactly is pollen? Pics? Thanks.
I cant give you a very good answer to be honest. Being UK based access to clean hash has been severly limited all my life, and my allergies have prevented me from being able to source any ganja away from home since 2005.

All I know is I have been familiar with a particular type of Morrocan hash over the years simply known as "Pollen".
I don't know how it is made, where exactly it comes from, and what exactly differentiates it from other types of hashhish.

The one I tried in my Omni is gone now. It the typical light yellow, pressed bar but soft and crumbly. I have one now that is totally different, called "Caramello egg". It is dark, oily and squidgy like Black. And sticky as fuck! A nightmare to "work" with lol;). Comes wrapped in about 30 layers of clingfilm (for transit sake) and has to be frozen just to get it out, then into greeseproof paper.

Just scooped up a quick word from random forum. I would have learnt more about it ages ago if it wasn't just another tease:

"Pollen dont burn, crumble or taste even smoke like hash,if you didnt know any the wiser you would SWEAR you were smoking some real good bud, thats the difference between hash and pollen, basically the best of the plant is 'extracted' and pressed and cultivated into 'quality' pollen..put it this way pollen sells for double the price of hash round here which is the equivalent to the price of good weed like original blueberry, white widow, ect.

Pollen is resin made in India,Morrocco even the United Kingdom, generally of higher quality than 'red seal Black' hashish, and appears in soft, pliable or hard, almost brittle, form. It can appear in slabs, or moulded into various shapes. Typically 12%-17% THC

Pollen is superior quality to for instance Moroccan hashish, normally in round 9oz blocks. Similar in appearance to Lebanese( light and fluffs up/expands when burnt) , but of MUCH higher potency,it represents earlier 'shakes' than used to produce soap-bars, and the resin is of softer texture. Typically 10-15%% THC".

Pressed Kief

Thanks guys I knew it was a case of simple semantics. The darker, squidgy "Carramello egg"- that was also sold to me as pollen, but is not like kief at all. A totally different process for that one.

pollen is simply kief...nothing more, nothing less...pressed or unpressed it is kief

true cannabis pollen would be collected from male plants but has no psychoactive properties
I think you quoted the wrong person.

From my experience kief can look from a creamy blonde, a light green, amber, and lower grade darker greens.....

No, I meant to clarify pollen is not simply pressed kief.

Pressed or unpressed we are talking about the same shit >>> kief

Of course. I have several grams of both sitting right next to me.

I was just letting him know a more common term for what he has.

Only one portable? Easy. Sticky Brick Junior... nothing else I've seen or tried even comes close! :D

Wow... that was an easy question. :)
Couldn't agree more, I'd keep my Sticky Brick Jr. So much power in such a small package, also I'm a sucker for wood and glass.

What do you mean by more common. I am curious? Pressed Kief?

1g pressed Kief on left, 1g Kief on right.

I love the education FC gives me. I have worked my fingers to the bone being an expert stoner and still I'm learning!

I'm far from an expert, but to add a bit more, traditional hashish is essentially either sifted from dried plants (Morocco, Lebananon, Afghanistan) or hand rubbed from living plants (Nepal, India, Jamaica)

Afghani style hash is heated and manipulated like making taffy. I don't really have any experience with that, it seems like its probably somewhat decarboxylated from the videos I've seen of the process. The closest thing would probably be reclaim or vapor condensate (volcano solid valve, anybody?) Moroccan hash is just cured and sifted trichomes pressed together. The consistency depends on how pure the sift was and how much plant material is in there.

And in India, Jamaica, and other places live plants are hand rubbed to collect true a live resin, the closest equivalent would be scissor hash.

I guess I sound have been more specific. I meant in what way is uncooked vs cooked hash different. I've only ever had this paka Garda and dynavap condenser hash.

Well uncooked is going to have terpene modulation from the essential oils, cooked is going to have the potency from that decarboxylation, the activation of THC from THCA.

Even after cooking torching the hash does something to it. It's a lot less potent before the torching.

I've only had Pakistani hash.

I have thought about this question for weeks before answering here.
And I gave my best, but I am completely unable to decide between a Vapcap or a Vapman when it comes to "the only one"-situation. It will be one of those two for sure. My apologies, that's all that I am able to offer after weeks of thinking... ;)
