I was also wondering that....so you can read it right side up with the Swivel MP. Wish they had an actual temp as well, so you could see how your draw effects the temp but no biggy.

So the battery door is Alum but the rest of the body is plastic?

I think that I tried a fair amount of vapes and I must say; Color me impressed.

Granted, there are some minor things in the software that must be fixed.

i.e. the fact that when you are in Celcius and activate boost mode, it shows 500F degrees for a second and then switches back to celcius. The fact that IT DOES NOT VIBRATE WHEN THE VAPE TURNS OFF AFTER A SESSION and the fact that I have not yet found a way to flip the screen orientation, altough I read that it was possible with the CFV 1.0 ;)

Sure they are annoying, but they are fixable with an update. Let's not forget the things it does have:
  • Full Convection
  • A special 'Booster Mode' for concentrates
  • Replaceable Batteries
  • Very sturdy build quality
  • Stainless Steel chamber
  • Vibration
  • Magnetic mouthpieces
  • Included glass mouthpiece
  • Included water pipe adapter
The core functionality is that it is a full convection vaporizer and that part fucks me sideways.

My opinon is that the Tera really has a special experience going on.

9/10.

Edit; the Storz & Bickel pods really seem to be an addition to this device; easy to clean and from what I have seen, it looks like it vapes alot more even (dont pin me on that).

Do you think it would be more intelligent to just wait a little untill this little drawbacks disapear with all the consumer pointing them and boundless changes them?

Yeah you guys ar right with that.
It looks nice and on paper it sounds awesome too
But I am not sure if I gonna use it that much if it's not comparable in the important vapor quality section with my crafty
It seems like a nice all-rounder but not like it's on top of the sections and it's not like it's super special like a supreme or a lil bud what I guess I will rather go for

Just did a session with the LG HG2's, did not notice anything strange. The original Tera batteries say 30A on the label. Is it even safe? Just now I read the description for the LG HG2 says: Discharge: 20A Max Continuous. :doh:

What battery can you guys recommend to get?

The original batteries say 30A but how many Ampere/hours? 30A is most probably the peak discharge rate and completely irrelevant, as is the case on nearly all re-wraps on the market. What's important to know is the CDR, that's the only thing we can compare.

They are 2500mAh. So there is a possibility that the LG HG2's are safe to use?

For me the Tera looks like it has parts what are rubberrized!!!

I hope it's silicon like at the Arizer Go!!!
Thought boundless learned from the CFV and escaped all rubber what reacts when it contacts alcohols or resin.
Had really strong haze with the Swift Pro and it has the same gum/rubber outside like the CFV, what reacted with the resin from my fingers and destroyed the rubber.

Really want the Tera hard but this rubberrized fucks me up yeah...
I don't need no rubberrized device when the gum isn't able to contact resin!

I've gotta see the tear down of this beast! I cant believe how fast it heats and how fast Randy was able to get vapor!

Seems to offer pretty decent performances but nothing crazy imo, although the Lightning wasn't the best in @PuffItUp video... more to come since a lot of guys ordered it and will get one next week!

I'm not one of them since I'm not anymore in search of big sized convection portables since my MiniVaps works so well and I got issues with dual batteries vapes before (seems to get through lifetime batteries faster). But it looks like a solid choice if you like the design. Personnaly I'm not a fan of Boundless vaporizers design.

Nice unboxing and full testing Puff it up, at least it seems to medicate very well, isn't it?

Somebody here who is thinking like me and troy from 420vapezone about fucking rubberrized son of a bitch gum on the outside of a vaporizer.
I think every vape have to withstand alcohols!!!
Resins have all alcohols in it, doesn't matter if it are resins from a tree or from weed, they all have alcohols and terpenes in it.
If it is the same bullshit like at the CFV or the Swift Pro i would like to rape the ones face who had the idea to use such a material.
I am sry but that drives me crazy!
Why not using only aluminum or plastic like the mighty or the alternate?
Don't misunderstand me, I like boundless and been waiting so long for the tera.
I would pay 50 $ more to have an alcohol/resin resistant outside even if I could simply not touch it with sticky fingers on the rubberrized parts because i know about this fail since I touched my swift pro with sticky fingers.

To many people, including myself, the Mighty stands for the benchmark of portable vaporizers regarding its power, very even ABV and the thick clouds. Personally I have never tested any stronger portable vape than the Mighty, it even hits way harder than my desktop Arizer EQ4. Thats why so many people were hoping that the Tera could be an even mightier device than the Mighty itself ;).
The price says nothing imo, S&B produces in Germany while the Boundless units, like most other vapes, too, are being produced in China. Thats not negative, iPhones are being produced in China, too, just may explain the price differences a little (not the price differences between the iPhone and Android phones, though lol)!

I guess for people who prefer convection units the Tera could be the perfect device. In my opinion the magnetic swappable mouthpieces are the shit + the extremely nice feature to swap the batteries as well. But if this vape is not actually hitting harder than my Mighty does, unfortunately I will need to keep waiting for another inofficial Mighty 2 :/.

That love for the S&B devices will always stay a mystery for me. The Mighty and the Crafty are the two biggest disappointments of my vaporizer life. I owned them both, tried several models of other people (because I thought that maybe just my devices are somehow faulty). But I never liked them at all. Nothing about them...

Isn't it wonderful how much people and their taste differ? :)
