Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

Hey guys newbie here, I've read around 30 pages in this thread but I still have two questions before I pull the trigger and buy this bad boy!
1.Are you able to use the WPA as a mouthpiece without an actual bong? I've read that the WPA has a bowl that is perfect for microdosing and thats one of the reasons why I want to buy the Furry.
2. Has anyone tried using the Fury with another person? How was your experience?

@FifaCity16 Welcome!
I use the water tool as a mouthpiece all the time. Works great! But really better with just one person, unless you are both just taking 1-2 hits each. It has a pretty small chamber.
With the regular mouthpiece, it is great for two people. Super easy to use (no learning curve, no special technique needed).

@AMiA and @Jill NYC Thanks guys!:)
How many bowls do you guys usually smoke to get a decent high? I'm worried about my tolerance and consumption being a little high since I've been smoking daily with my Xmax . Nowadays a bowl of my Xmax only gets me to like [6] even if i pack a lot :ugh:.

I use it only before i go to bed,MICRO DOSING..0.02->0.04 at the most.So maybe it's time for you to reset and get your tolerance down.48-72hours..come on i know you can do it ;-)..if you really want..But with my MD (Micro Dosing)i get what i want,a good nights sleep whith nearly no leg cramps.

I am using a lot my falseFury lately but I notice an increase over time in draw restriction. I tried some burn offs but does not work. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? My unit is pristine clean right now.

The air intake vent is on the bottom of the unit and consequently it's easy to inadvertently cover it with your finger when inhaling...I do it all the time!

The more I high, the toker I get!

Yea my Fury has also seen a lot of use and has started to develop a bit of a reclaim smell when you turn it on.

According to puffitup's teardown, you can't really get the bottom screen out to clean underneath it, and you can see in their pic that there is definitely some gunk built up under there on top of the diffusion disk thing:

I imagine this is what mine looks like under there but apparently there's not much I can do about it short of forcibly removing that bottom screen.

I typically use the XL glass bowls (both bent stem and WPA) which hold about 0.1g. It is pretty easy to kill these in like 4-6 rips and then pack another one. Repeat as necessary until you get where you are going. I'm not sure how big the bowl on the Xmax is?

@StonerSloth
The Xmax V2 bowl is pretty big, its holds around 0.3g . If I pack it almost completely full it usually gets around 2 5 min cycles out of it . Whats your opinion on the glass stem ? Is it worth it?

Oh my bad, I thought the mp was dismantable and removed the white silicon part in order to take out the mp glass tube to clean it and now I can't see how to take the glass tube out and how to put back in place the white silicon part, any help would be appreciated!

@PPN - maybe my old post helps:
a few pics to dismantle the mouthpiece with the dab tool
first the white seal
vxom4w.jpg

then gentle leverage for plastic piece

mjqzpg.jpg

that will go easier after the first time and removing that glue i don't like there
10r7ryp.jpg

and btw don't put black plastic in iso - that was maybe 1 min of soaking
sn027q.jpg

looks like a heat flow 'footprint' on the surface etched by iso? (i always feel the bottom part being hotter than the top, so i change every few draws...)

Yes, glass MP may be nice - but for me the little guy is primary for going out bc it's small, for water there are better vape solutions imo, no need to burn out batteries for that

Another thing to add is the glass tube might be stuck by resin to the top white silicone and hard to get out - the dab tool is here handy too, go in at a mp corner with the 'spatula' to pull it out

Good catch!

And just to be clear, we're not referring to the amber-colored thermal tape wrapped around the heater, but the junk accumulated on the "retaining ring/diffuser" as well as the inside, bottom of the heater. It could be that the majority of this accumulation burns off as you go along, but I'm guessing eventually it will reach a measure of critical mass causing a certain degree of permanent restriction...have to wait and see for sure. Hopefully @HealthyRips.com is aware of this design issue and will work toward re-engineering this aspect of the unit!? In the meantime, if owners haven't placed an accessory screen in the bottom of the heater as a preventative measure then it might be a good idea to consider doing it now! Or, using the glass MP as much as possible will likely help prevent build-up as well.

Hi All, We have not personally (HR Team) experienced a draw resistance issue with our test or our personal units and we have been using ours for almost a year now. However, if you are concerned about this - we can send you a screen that will fit in the bottom of the chamber. The FURY 2 chamber diameter is 11mm and the screen is 12mm - so you have to push the screen down into the chamber - but it stays in nicely. Just email us at: healthyrips@gmail.com - please provide proof of purchase and we will send you two free screens. We will have them available for sale on our website within the next few days as well, 10 for $10 including free shipping (as always).

OK...now for the NEWS! We just got our hands on our second FIERCE prototype today.....OMGosh! The clouds and the flavor - we are on cloud 9! It is definitely time to start a FIERCE thread....we will get on that as soon as we have pictures and videos.

All the Best

Now you have my attention.
The Fury 2 (as it comes without the glass) has become a preferred session for me.
It just is built to really drain a load.
If Fierce does this well I would love to see video!

I really like the metallic stash "box". Can you share specifics about it and where to get one of those?

Real nice on the go setup. :)

I have had that little stash for about 15 years. bought it at some head shop local for like $15. I really wish I could find another, it has really coarse threading so it only takes a full turn to open it up, holds 1.5-2 grams ground up and has a arched bottom instead of 90 degree so little bits don't get stuck in a crease. plus it last 15 years so far with the same meaty o ring and threading is still holding true

Its about the same size as a Tupperware "smidget" if you wouldn't mind a plastic version

Thanks for all that info. Sounds even cooler than it already looks on the picture. I especially liked that the material is metal.

I think that Space Case or another grinder manufacturer also sold such kinda stashes gonna have to do some research later on. :)

For the moment I have a pretty similiar sized Jyarz Chico which I really like ... but somehow I am really into the metal ... :D
