Bringing Cartridge to Malaysia

I’m heading to Malaysia later this year. Would love to bring a cartridge with me. Malaysia does still allow vaping and bringing my battery with regular juice is alright. Has anyone brought a cartridge to the country before? I know bringing real stuff is a big no no but does something so small like a cartridge really attract attention? Would hate to go to a beautiful place like Langkawi with my own.

I took 2 ml of CO2 oil to China injected into a travel-sized empty toothpaste container.

grampa_herb,
I’m gonna take the plastic top off the cartridge then siran wrap the cartridge with oil then wrap electrical tape around it. Will they really find something that small?

That would look pretty suspicious. Hide in plain site. They are experts on finding the hidden.

And watch Return to Paradise first!

You will be fine , don't hide it , just take a few carts of legal stuff along with it and put them all next to each other in your carry on bag.

If that movie was about them having a tiny 1/2 ml cartridge then I most certainly wouldn’t risk it.

Having a little THC in your urine is a crime there.

A year after that, my family struggles began. Once people found out I used cannabis, even for what are obvious medical needs, I was an easy target. In this country, if you are found guilty of having THC in your urine, you can be jailed for up to 2 years or a 5,000 Malaysian Ringitt ($1,500) fine or both. Our urine is their business, one might say.

My husband is the general manager of Western Union in one part of Kuala Lumpur (the capital city of Malaysia). Our family rented a hotel room not far from his work place. He had just started the job and while searching for a house we stayed at the hotel. Our room got raided one night. They took my husband and charged him under 39A1 of the Malaysian Dangerous Drug Act. If he was found guilty he could be fined up to five thousand MR or sentenced to two years jail time and mandatory minimum of three strokes of a birch cane across his back. Perhaps you have seen movies where people get the lash as punishment in movies about slaves and prisoners. Here it still a reality. In 2016. Consider that. Think about how you’d feel knowing one you love will be tied to a structure and given the lash – for cannabis.

Malaysia

Another country you would do well to avoid is Malaysia. Possession of cannabis can land you in jail for up to five years (Section 6), and carries a fine of up to 20,000 ringgit (around $6,500). If you are found with over 50 grams, the sentence is at least five years, plus a possible lashing of at least ten strikes (Section 39a). Planting a cannabis seed can get you life in prison plus at least six lashings (Section 6b). In 2010, a man was jailed for a total of eight years for being found with just less than 58 grams of cannabis. One charge was only based on 12.65 grams (less than a half ounce) and carried a sentence of two years. The worst case scenario, getting caught dealing a lot of cannabis, can lead to the death sentence.

Simply put: don't do it. Malaysia isn't messing around, and their laws aren't lenient. You probably wouldn't get caught, but then again you might, and if you do get caught you're fucked.

This 100% As you said, the locale you will be visiting is beautiful, isnt that enough for you to enjoy it? If you find something to get you stoned while there, then great and if not then it wasnt meant to be. Like already stated, its not just a little thing if you do happen to get caught.

Edit 1 * And honestly, even trying to find something there may not be a good idea. Their laws arent a joke, and they routinely make examples of foreigners who visit and disrespect their laws and get caught.

Doesn’t seem worth the risk...plus the cartridges I have leaked and failed both times I drove them to a much higher altitude. Depending on where you’re coming from and where the cartridge is stored during the trip, you may end up risking a lot for something that doesn’t even work for you.

You might find other legal vaporizable substances that you could take or buy there. Some forum members claim that there are blends of other plants with fairly similar effects when combined. I haven’t tried them, but it sounds like you have time to do a little research and testing. :)

Those are some really ridiculous laws though...
