It's all about the vapor quality with this. The most unbeatable taste and feel when dialled right. We talk about next level, this is as close to vapor perfection as I have experienced.
Now if one day somebody can find a way to regulate and control the heat on that heater precisely- then I don't think there would be any more "levels".

So high again, but my point coming here was for @invertedisdead , (hiya dude!) just a while ago I had my best Elev8r session yet. Watching the UFO bubbler in daylight, mindful of the heat emenating from the glass (and NOT burning my cheek, AGAIN!! Lol), I got every hit bang on for the most fantastic tasting, pure vapor every time.

And it was all "blue" vapor! Which @ShadowVape of VHW insists is more potent. It didnt look like milk in the UFO, but flows fast. Visibly blue though. Exhales were STILL very large, and my god the flavour and feel, all the way.
Every hit perfect. Later Im sure I'll take it higher to finish the load. I get so much out of my herb like this too. Just taking all of it's goodness, like Pirranha fish!

I feel quite confident about replicating this in daylight with my senses and vision, etc. When Im cained at night is when I struggle more. Hence-incoming Digi-Ti!

Love it bro!!
Gotta get me an Elev8r! I think it would be great to bring to my dabbing buddies houses. They all have glass and torches, so the whole unit is pretty compact!

I don't think it is a bad investment at all. I am stil struggling with hand and wrist RSI issues, but the rewards are so fulfilling it makes it all worth it until Digi is released.

Then the Elev8r is available for on demand purity heaven any time I wish.

Oh yes, I didn't even MENTION the effects above! The flavour is just so damn good it seems to be the onky thing that matters. The effects are to match!

Oh yeah man I get that light blue cat that doesn't seem very thick but tastes so fresh and so good. The exhale is like a juice cloud it's surprising. It's very very very hard to overheat with the little lighters I have. I started putting the little triple flames right onto the heater and turn very slowly since you guys are using these massive torches. Anyway, it shortens the heat up time significantly for me, but the lighters still get very got from one use and burn you hot if you are stupid enough to keep using it.
So I totally between torch lighters lol. Second rip heats quicker anyway.

@steama I find it easier (and safer) to put the Elev8r on its place in water tool, then you have 2 hands to turn the gas off, plus without having to place the torch down while ignited- i can see an accident happening one day that way if you put the torch down too near to an object without clocking, or if it accidentally turns.

That is presuming one is using the WPA of course. Also I am using the Big Buddy atm, which I can easily switch off one-handed without putting it down.
Just trying to keep you alive bro (or keep your house intact- who wants a big pile of ashes and an intact Showerhead?;) )

I just stumbled across this and man am I jonesing! Any of you cool kids hitting this with whole nugs? Since moving to TX I've only got 2 vapcaps at the moment to keep me company (when I can find a little herb), but this looks like an interesting new friend.

I've got the ELEV8R in my cart along with the sherlock and their little bubbler attatchment, but that's 55 bucks, can anyone chime in whether the water tool is worth the scratch? I'm trying to live on a semi tight budget!

If the ELEV8R was the only vape I could have I would be satisfied to live with this vape. It hits all the right buttons for only $100 bucks which blows me away. This is such an enjoyable vape with loads of ultra tasty vapor. I also need to mention I feel like I have been getting 'more baked' when I use the ELEV8R.

It takes a lot to get me just baked, but when a thing gets me 'more baked' it's really saying something.

Well I think that makes it official- I am officially not a lightweight!
I was realising yesterday how since using this vape daily for 5 weeks now- I have been very unproductive in life. I must refrain from Elev8ing during the daytime as my momentum to keep up with the day and get somewhere in life sort of dies a death and not much gets done except managing my symptoms and basics.

Yet none of my other vapes are really calling my name atm, until I get the desktop I need in April.
The last 2 evenings, wow did I get so high. A very psychedelic experience of cannabis as well which is like pure blissful euphoria and displacement.

I was already sure that the Elev8r effects are equally or more potent than any and all of the big guns I have tried... except it is harder for me to compare to FP and GS due to short, limited and tormentuous use.

So for you to give this ongoing praise @steama , being such a leading figure and champion of the Flowerpot, well it assures me very much that at least my vape bearings are good and sound. Thanks for your ongoing assurance that I have got this right in my mind bro.

Ok, so I love the elev8r a lot. It doesn't make sense, cause I'm not even using it with the right heat source. I burned a finger a little bit today from using my lighter. It just got too hot and that's not safe. I tried to hold off buying accessories for it cause I'm poor. lol I just started college and haven't had my financial aid come through. But when it does! I am going to get a real torch for this mother fucker.

At first I'm always like "Hey, no vapor" and then this light blue vapor just fills my lungs and takes me to paradise. Actually this morning I used it a little differently. I am revaping my AVB with this guy. I used to use the vapcap for this, but I have a technique for really ripping dark with this when I want to. But that's not actually where this shines.

The Elev8r is greater than the sum of it's parts. You can load up a GIANT bowl of ground up (or a good size nugget if you prefer) and get the hugest cloud of mid temp vapor that is full of rich flavor. Lung buster rips of blue vapor. It's so easy to get each time. I just warm it until the flames turn red around the glass. Just rip. It doesn't feel right cause there's next to no resistance and nothing happens at first. I don't even have water in my bubbler so it's very odd feeling to me. The wand provides good feedback because you can feel the warm air very quickly to know it's the right temp. You can't see the vapor with the wand so much, but it does a nice job of smoothing it. It's easy to use the wand with other pieces, too making it very diverse.

 So glad you are digging it Diggy! I was genuinely wanting you to get your unit and was feeling for you with the delays. But all worth it though Im sure. Def get a proper torch though and show both Elev8r and yourself the respect you deserve- rolling out the red carpet is the only right thing to do here.

I think I am going to give more attention to the effects now, the lipsmacking flavour has been holding the spotlight. Im sure I could be using much less and be amply hammered still.

It just seems like a high powered car- so easy to go fast you never learn to go slow- I either need to use other vapes more often, or tame the Elev8r's heavy, debilitating signature so I can function better day to day.

I have the GS and the Elev8r. These are my observations.
  • The GS is up there with the best of em in taste, however even the Elev8r blows the GS away on taste.
  • The GS definitely extracts faster, but the vapor from the Elev8r is more enjoyable
  • The potency... There are days where I feel like the GS gets me more lifted and there are days where the Elev8r brings me to a level where the GS cannot. I think it's a tie.
  • Clouds. They both can get retarded sized clouds however the GS definitely wins here.

Hesitant to even post this.

A butane torch can be expensive. Especially the Big Shot ones other users have mentioned. And even more so if your not in the US (don't know why they are so much more expensive North of the border). The blazer big shot is $84 plus shipping and tax on amazon.ca

Alas, if you have a kitchen supply store (Ikea, kitchen basics, trader joes....) you can find a Brulee torch for under $20.

I paid around $15 CAD for the one I picked up after a few weeks of looking. I ended up going to kitchen basics for mine.

I've also seen some cheaper models that you attach to the butane can (instead of a fill).

I did notice that Amazon.ca prices seemed higher than most of the local stores I checked out.

FWIW

-----

Someone had mentioned difficulty with turning the device during heating...

If you place the wand on top of a counter you can roll it backwards and forwards and only need to worry about the heat.

I placed a towel on my countertop so I didn't scratch the glass.

A similar approach can be taken with the wpa, just be careful you don't melt your fingers (or counter top).

This is a suggestion other users have dropped in thw DynaVap thread where some members have similar wrist issues.

Great thoughts shared there, and interesting to me as I was only able to test the GS for 24 hours and likely never again.
From that limited trial I was adamant that I experienced much better flavour from the Flowerpot Showerhead than the GS.

But the Elev8r does definitely come out on top of both in that department.

I am curious now-Do you have any similar thoughts/comparisons between Elev8r and SV3?
Obviously the Elev8r will take it on taste, but what about effects and heaviness, enjoyment of buzz etc?

I loved the power of the SV3 @Alexis but i found it did let itself down in the flavor department IMO. Even when using the glass stems i found it lacking a little, awesome clouds by far the biggest i'd had before which certainly need to advertised as apart from the extra butane being used via the torch the flavor was the only true gripe.

My friend is still in love with your GS Alex, he gave it all a good wash down yesterday and actually enjoyed the experience of taking it apart and placing it back together which for him is a rare thing indeed as he wants zero maintenance.

The Elev8r has peaked my interest a little more recently even tho i've just parted ways with yet another butane vape (the SV3 actually) but i feel if it can deliver on:

Flavour AND clouds
Easy to use
Works with concentrates (sift and bubble mainly)

Might be worth looking into? But bare in mind i have a flowerpot in my arsenal, might be hard to shake it from it's perch as my NO.1 driver.

Hello and thanks a ton for your thoughts and update on my re-homed GS. I am sure glad he is happy with it so far- a happy new owner was always priority no.1 (funds for me Herbo Ti a VERY close 2nd haha!)
One of the most surprising things about the Elev8r is that it is very worthy of attention from people like yourself who have the creme de la creme of home desktops at your disposal.

Since the Magnificent Showerhead has come onto the scene quite a few people have expressed dissatisfaction with numerous other vapes they previously enjoyed particularly portables.
At first it might have seems as though the Elev8rr would be a bit of a gimmick and some fun at best. Not so! But one aspect in particular where it shines- it offers vapor quality and potency that no SH owner (or any other desktop) could really be disappointed with.
And it has been pretty well established that's the flavour is As Good as It Gets.

Obviously it is not a true portable for on the go. But if you can see it having a place in your vape routine or for travelling and away from home, then it is an excellent option to consider even if only for infrequent use for the pure flavour and fun aspect.

Let's be clear though, when I get my digital Herbo it will be my DD. Simply because I need as easy a life and vape routine as possible. Due to my illness and fatigue condition, plus repetitive strain issues, I do not personally enjoy the ritual of heating etc, for daily use.
The fact that this device HAS still been my DD for 5 weeks over the 2 desktops I currently have (Herbo XL and a top line log vape), is a real testament to how great it is.

Thanks again for your thoughts man. If you go for the Elev8r please let us know how you like it, and how it fits in alongside FP. It would be a pleasure also to share a vape with you since I had to leave the FP club. Have a good week at work.:)

I enjoy using the Elev8r more (maybe because it's a new toy) as I feel like the SV3 gets me too high and it brings me to the level of uncomfortable. I don't use my SV3 as much and only save it for special occasions when I want to go to the moon. When I want to go from 0 to 100 real quick, it's the SV3 for sure. Also, the effects with the SV3 is heavier in the brain... it feels like my brain is being weighed down and I'll be literally useless for the next hour or so. All my smoking friends are scared of the SV3 as the effects are too strong sometimes.

I can't knock the FP for flavour now really, i love doing convection concentrate hits with it cranked up to 750C and over using some very well matured bubble from last years outdoor harvest, mixed trim just amazing.

I loved the lotus for that convection flavour and slowly i'm getting similar taste on the FP but i still fancy a pure glass, convection vape for cons as it's my go to right now, herb doesn't get a look in.

The blazer big buddy is pretty cheap on amazon.com I can't comment on the canadian prices. $22 isn't so bad. I don't I'll go for the big shot.
I got the blazer big buddy turbo off amazon...its a smaller version of the one @steama has, i figure it should be small enough to travel with. Has the same temp output as the big one just smaller fuel capacity. I may get that bigger one later. That is a sweet ass deal that amazon has for it as well!!.

The biggest difference between the two, and the only real practical advantage besides larger fuel tank, is ease of operation. I was using my Big Buddy wrongly to begin with, by first locking both "continuos flame" and safety catch buttons into place, then just using both hands to ignite the flame by pushing the ignite button in without having to hold it in.

But soon it stopped working like this and the buttons would just release when ignited.
So I rang Vapefiend a few weeks ago and explained. The guy explained that is the wrong way to use it, and you have to push down safety catch, then press ignition button down and hold it in with one hand while you switch the continuous flame on.

So it is a 2 handed operation which I was hoping to avoid. Vapefiend had already agreed to replace my Big Buddu which he said has probably been damaged by incirrect use, because tge instructions do not make it clear to not use it this way.

That was 2 weeks ago. I rang them today and asked if I can exchange it for the Big Shot instead and he said yes.
So I will do that because I have hand issues and the Big Shot looks a breeze and pleasure to operate- this is whay we are paying extra for IMO. Igniting the torches so far is the least fun aspect of this vape, and I want to have fun with the Elev8r through time so I shall bite the bullet now.:D

So, I got my replacement heater, and it's perfect in every way, except it doesn't have the little nobby part near the bottom that allows you to use the sick clip to remove it. In other words, it's going to work perfectly, but I can't remove it until it's completely cooled down. It's fine, though. I personally have no intention of using this back to back! It was nice to be able to dump the bowl while the herb was still warm, but hey, this is safer. Lol

Mine is missing as well. But I rarely want to run back to back flower bowls so it's not an issue.

But for concentrates, it sometimes takes a couple small dabs to get me going (weird eh), so After a chatting with Pete, of sneakypete fame, he reccomended tongs - found a pair for a few buck on Amazon

I think I searched science tongs for anyone in the same boat as us.
