The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I've never gotten any plastic taste from my mighty, even with the plastic mouthpiece. I haven't tried the fury2, but from what I've read/heard/seen, it probably makes hotter vapor than the mighty, but if you're ok with the grasshopper, maybe that wouldn't be an issue. the fury also lacks the vibrate function, which I find very useful.

I only got a slight plastic taste from the Mighty at the beginning and the same for the Fury.
Imho the Fury has as cool vapour as the Mighty surprisingly and as for the vibrate function it is not really needed as it heats up to temp in 20 seconds. The Fury also goes as high as 221 deg c which I find very useful for rinsing herb with added sift. 2p

But consider that we spend around $500 on these devices.
Maybe with all the bells and whistles, but the Mighty, even without any promotional discount is currently US $349.00, and you even get some bells and whistles.
I agree this is still a lot o' scratch, though we get a superior product with great service.

Btw, I got a rare promotional email from S&B USA today, announcing the 20% more battery capacity, and encouraging that it be purchased 'direct' to ensure getting a unit with this improvement.

I would like to share my recent experience with Storz & Bickel.....out of warranty by a few months.....I was thrilled....I really appreciated the kind gesture:clap: Storz & Bickel!

After a recent experience I had, this puts Arizer to shame.
Hard to understand why they wouldn't look after international customers half as good as S&B do, maybe because they're in Canada only with no service centers to make it easier for them to do so?
Or they're just not as generous!
They can keep their smelly mica toasters if that's the case IMO.

But consider that we spend around $500 on these devices. ...Thats probably why they take such good care of us.

I did think something like this before, or maybe someone with a Volcano and a Mighty might be considered a loyal, repeat customer. Or one worth keeping!

3rd Mighty incoming . I thought I could do without one being I have a plethora of hard hitting desktops and portables but so far there has been nothing like the Mighty for on the go that can really compare to the ease of loading and getting huge clouds with something that can hold a decent amount of material . Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and the Mighty .

I need some information on the Mighty charger please.

What size is the end connector that inserts into the Mighty? I know zilch (or less  ) about connectors, but is this a standard 5.5 X 2.1 plug?

Thanks

I'm desperately trying to find something to complement the Mighty, hitting a tad harder than 210, electronically. I haven't found it yet (I eye'd the Milaana but that thing is not available in Europe)

I wouldnt be up on plug types either but every 12V center positive adapter I have for things like radio or cctv use will work with Mighty and yes it looks like that standard chubby plug 5.5mm wide, so it must be.

i left my charger in a friends place a while back, and can tell you, a 1500ma adapter will charge your battery, but won't operate the heater in the Mighty for use while charging.
A 2000ma will operate the heater but may shut off eventually as it overheats the supply I think.
Therefore you'll need 2500ma or higher I believe, to properly use the heater while charging.

(36watts divided by 12volts is 3 amps, so you may need 3000ma, sorry!)

The Milaana is unregulated so i'd almost call it electrical instead of electronic! But they are available again shortly on Vapefiend UK after some restocking.
The Pax 3 goes to 215C, can make ABV much more dark, and uses full conduction so sometimes seems to hit a little harder even at around 195C, but the taste suffers a bit after the first few draws.

Other than one or two other possibles, do you think you can wait for the Haze Square around April?
It looks promising.

Unfortunately my 3rd Mighty was stolen from my building so i never got it but i am working with the shipping company to possibly fix this issue , really sucks people have to steal other peoples mail. The worst part is it was signature required and i had signed the slip for them to leave it. As for finding something that will hit harder , my experience is a on-demand butane vape such as the dynavaps or my favorite the sticky brick will get the job done , i wouldn't say they hit harder but would be on par. I personally never liked the battery powered on demand vapes much that i owned but some love them so i cant recommend that but can guarantee you a good desktop will get you there such as the New Vape Flower Pot.

The dynavaps will melt your face off.
They hit just as hard as the mighty, even the 55 euro M.
They are not good for groups though.

So, I'm a botanical vaping newb really, only had devices for just over a week or so...but I cleaned out my Mighty mouthpiece for the fist time a few minutes ago. I had cleaned the Crafty, and got a BB sized glob of red sap, but with the Mighty I got maybe a fat raindrop size glob and a BB sized hard resin scrape.

Here's the question. I literally received my FlowerPot today, but I've never done a dab ... should I start with this or should I wait to do a press or something ... keep in mind my preferred payload is not readily available in my area :( Or is it bad form to vape reclaim from one device in another and I should just add this to the Mighty pad and go to town?

Your advice as always is much appreciated! One other note, I do have a Crafty to back up the Mighty ... they both hit heavy, the Crafty just won't last much longer than 45 minutes if it makes it that far.

I dont know the Flowerpot but you can easily vape the resins in your Mighty again :).
Usually to me it kicks way harder than weed itself thats why I am always saying keep your resins since they dont acquire any work at all.

Like I said previously the Fury hits harder at 221 deg c.

You can dab your SB reclaim in your Flowerpot no problemo, just bear in mind that you have vaped a lot of the goodies already and so it will not be as fulfilling as a full spectrum dab.
Its a waste of concentrate in a Crafty or Mighty as 210 deg c is not a high enough temp to properly rinse it.

I hear you, I'm working on getting a press...tried the Mcguyver hair straightener method with shitty results.

What is a good temp for this kind of dab? The FP is preset to 650, but i did an 800 burnoff .. tha thing is solid as a rock.

On thing about my ABV from the Mighty, it does come out a toasty light brown, but I'm able to get a lot more out of it if I move to a stronger desktop. It works out though, because I get twice the mileage out of the product

I've been vaping rosin in our mighty for a long while. It's not as efficeient as an enail, but it's perfectly functional using the liquid capsules and concentrates. Also it was 3 yr old last November and still ticking, although with weaker batteries that will need replacing soon.

Guess what I'll replace it with though? After using my mighty this long you'd think a better portable concentrate vape would have come along, but no, I'm going with another mighty. I conceed its not the perfect portable concentrate vape, honestly I don't think there is a perfect portable concentrate vape, but better than any others I've tried, or want to try. Ymmv

Over the horizon u can see the edges of the Earth
Storz & Bickel wouldn't allow me to send my Mighty in being that it's an older version (dated 05/2017) and they would gladly take my mighty and give me $100 off a new mighty vaporizer directly from them. That sucks I wish I had known about this updated battery news. I can't imagine that you got a outdated warranty crafty albeit with issues already and S&B was able to address it by handing you back a brand new Mighty for $59 which I highly can't believe because they wouldn't allow me an upgrade even under warranty and buying from Namaste.

Is your Mighty working fine and you just want to send it in to get a newer upgraded version back for free? If so, I'm not surprised they refused. They're running a business you know.

man, what your are consuming in this video lasts me over a month.
And I dont do concentrates.
Your tolerance must be trough the roof.

but you seem to have your shit together.
great demonstration of this benchmark unit.

I had several mightys.
ended up selling them each time.

I used capsules with approx 0.07g per load.
To strong to intense for me.
And it is a session vape.
The heater will heat your load even when you are not drawing from it.
I always felt pushed to finish my load as quickly as possible because I did not want to waste vapor.

To each their own.
Great unit and I like the design and ease of use.
qualitiy product though and through

I had to get this video out before the Tera... just in case...
I have to agree that with all of the new vapes that have come out, the Mighty is still king of portables for to me.

NO brainer easy to use, NO technique needed, throw in some flower and inhale. There is NEVER a question of "am I going to get vapor", "am I drawing too fast/slow", "am I drawing too short/long", etc, ad nauseam.

THIS is what all vapes should aspire to in a customer experience IMO and many of the newer portable vapes hitting the market are just too fiddly or have too many little bitty parts to handle and don't win over my heart like the Mighty.

I am interested in the Terra as an alternative to the Mighty (my SwiftPro just recently died) but I will wait a bit and see how that thing does in the field.

Cheers
