The angle on the battery contact plate as I tighten down the tiny little screw is significant and troubling.

This:

How many washers (I think that’s right word) do you have on the screw? Would a few more help even out the copper plate?

The angle of the copper plate will vary depending on the number of washers you use, how you arrange them, whether you include the pick, and the contact spring at the bottom of the battery well. I have no pick, with three washers below the copper plate and the star washer above the plate. The angle on mine is perfect, but that's because I fine-tuned it by pulling up the contact spring a little.

Finishing up my 2 week honeymoon with the Mi. :luv:
Really love this thing. Makes me want more like this. Do I really need an earlier version to compare? RBTAS has bitten. :uhoh:
A Splinter is calling to me, but not sure how to get one. @RastaBuddhaTao 's Website says list is closed.
Bought a four pack of vct5a's from IMR to go with the variety four pack I already had, and I'm set. I can get two great sessions per charge, my older batteries taking a little longer to get up to temp the second time. But haven't had much luck with a third session. Even with the new Sony's.
But I'm good with that. Like @ohmygodimsohigh in his review, I like how the Mi performs on a fresh cell and I've now got a shit load of batteries to keep it up to temp. I'm in the same boat as @beyond6strings @bostonthrowaway7721 and @grovas , Troys video made the Milaana purchase a no brainer.

Ah, finally someone getting less sessions per charge than me!

I can get 3 but the last one is pushy. But if you adjust trigger time accordingly, no problem. Note that I'm probably bringing my cells voltage lower than you do.

You can get marginally more run time with the 30Q, HG2 and VTC6. But in practice, it doesn't change the bowl count for me. I do notice a more significant change when using them in the Zion though.

Where are you sourcing your extra washers?

I'm not. From the bottom up, my Milaana came with two washers, a pick, another washer, the copper plate, the star washer, and the brass nut. I think it was the last non-production unit, so it's possible yours is different.

For me, same as @pakalolo , they were there to begin with, But I removed the pick. So I have 3 washers below plate, and star washer above plate. It is very even with battery.
But washers should be easy to buy on the cheap.
@RastaBuddhaTao or @cannabis.pro can you tell @analytika what size the washers are? Thanks!
Hey folks... the washers are a
#6 and can be purchased at most hardware stores.

My Mi is feeling pretty good about itself today thanks to the kindness of @mucsusn !

How's the ID of the black stems compared to the other colors? I bought a pair of these from mountainglass.com and the ID is much wider than the green and amber stems I have.

Mine is like this too, normal for the black stems
It isn't consistent with any color batch to batch, mold to mold. The next batch could use the narrow ID mold.

Please to report that both of my Black stems have the same ID as my Amber stems. The RBT screens, both the inner ones and the rimmed ones I got from @cannabis.pro fit perfectly. Even the rimmed screens formed for my Amber stem, fit into my Black ones.

I removed my "pick" today. Don't see a use case, for me.

Just can't imagine leaving the battery in place, even with the pick.

That reads like Johnny Cash covering Hurt. :)
As a guitar player, I love a pick being incorporated into the vape and it is the easiest battery to swap out in the land. I shudder at the tought of removing my Air battery now. So many threads. :D

Is there a reason for this....aside from...well, disregard for the customers????
There is no rhyme or reason for it and it is one of the reasons RBT has transitioned away from using the colored glass vs the clear. But even between batches of clear I've witnessed the same variations in the inside diameter.

If I had to guess, I would say they are using two different molds with the manufacturer(s?). Because the glass industry is only concerned with external specifications, it is not an intentional disrespect or disregard for us.

RBT is working on their own glassware to improve the experience with RBT Technology. This will be great for future products with a more standardized glass designed for vaping purposes. The glass joints we are using now are just off the shelf literally and not designed with our usage in mind.

hi everyone pretty new here and I had a question about my mi.

I dropped it yesterday like a fucking dumbass and the 18mm glass insert fissured... ikr fml I died a little inside honelsty. good news is it seems hold up pretty nice and is still in one piece but you can clearly see the fissure. It still works but I'm afraid it will break in the future.

Do you know if RBT can repair it if I send it to them and pay for it? any other suggestion is welcom
