how many should I get? They are 7.50 each will they fray and break apart easily?

The last order I grabbed 5 to make it worth the shipping. They stay intact pretty well. I try not to torch the crap out of them like I used to. Just a light torching once a week or so. I've only killed 1 screen so far. The rest are in good shape still.

I bought three when I got my FPSH a few months ago, and I'm still on my first one. They are a tight but very secure fit. They are very durable if you treat them right.

I've found a way to ISO them clean without removing them from the bowl (I have the panhead) which I will post the details of when I get some time. No need to torch IMO, that just reduces their life expectancy. :2c:

Sorry if I'm not understanding...do you mean Female posts? The posts currently available for the 'Heads are 14mm, 18mm male.

The female post was discussed - but as it needs no adjustment, so we'll stick with the current female bowl - for now. A version for the 'Heads is on the radar, but towards the outer reaches for now...

Again, sorry if I've misunderstood your request...?

Thanks! I meant Female. Sorry. Had a rough morning as i am recuperating from an 8 hours drive home this weekend.

Good News:
  • FP-SH just arrived (plus accessories)
  • HN-02 arrived last week (not setup yet)
Bad News:
  • I'm out of town for a week
However thanks to all of you FP maniacs :freak: for all your great advice and tips, I should be able to get up and running at the weekend in next to no time.

T-Break time is nearly over!

Good deal GreenHopper !!! Cant wait for you to get it and use it.....you will be quite happy me thinks.....

I agree with @Danksta on the glass bowl and dont even bother with it. too much work for such a little return. I have about 5-7 different types of glass bowls for the FP and i still use the NV bowls as each glass bowl has its own issues.

Funny, for me it is the total opposite. I find it to be little effort to setup a glass bowl and huge returns over using the stock Ti one.

Oh man, just putting the shower head on the coil and clamping the handle on the cable was a treat. Love how solid it all felt and the hemp string had a really nice feel to it. The coil, handle and SH was smaller in person than I was expecting.

It's tough leaving it all at home before having a chance to play with it properly but I agree @LabPong, this weekend is going to be a lot of fun :D

The effort comes from cleaning the glass screens after each use. if one peddle is clogged, that side basically doesnt get vaped. I vape a lot and dislike using dirty or clogged set ups.

Also, using a double woven ti screen inside a glass bowl still taste smooth and good. much better than a ti bowl and oo so close to all glass. But the airflow with a ti screen is fantastic in a glass bowl and much easier and faster to clean and reuse.

I see, yea pending on how many loads and load types...you can get clogged up. I typically have 2 or 3 bowls setup to switch out as needed. I clean them by taking out the screen and putting both in a small container of iso and soak for 20 mins or so....

Even with a single SS screen in my glass flower pedal bottom bowl...I never had it clog up a full area between the 8 pedals. I switch out after 4 or 5 bowls worth.

But when I mix kief in my flower it gets fairly messy twice as quick. Then having a few extra's comes in handy for sure.

I did try the stock Ti screen from NV in the glass bowl...but since I had to bend/mold a conical shape into it....it was way too springy to keep in the bowl very easily. Because it is fairly thin gauge screen....this happened to be the biggest reason I stopped using it. The other reason was because it was not fine enough mesh to keep out particles directly into the water unit. I am waiting on some drop downs, so that may help that use case scenario.

I guess ill try one of these females bowls and ruin a DW ti screen to put in it since there isnt any other options.

is there any difference between the handle and no handle 14/18mm female bowls?

Is the no handle female bowl basically the female version of the stubby?

BTW, Love the Medium Humidor!!

@NewVape420 First, I want to say you really do a great job for us here! Thanks for the heads up on the UK/EU enail bundle; however I was very disappointed to see that this bundle contains unnecessary "accessories" that unnecessarily inflate the overall cost. It just seems like a cheap and cheesy retail marketing move to add low-quality freebies so you can charge $140 for what was $125 from dhgate.

This bundle should include controller/coil and the ability to specify which plug, UK or EU. That's it.

If I am buying this bundle to use with a newly purchased FPSH made of certified US Titanium, then respectfully, I ask why in the world would I also want/need a imported Ti nail, imported carbcap, and two cheap-ass silicone containers that are most-assuredly not platinum-cured? The nail will be useless to me, the carbcap is rubbish because I have the NV one, and those storage pots would be tossed. So there is absolutely no added value for the customer and it fools absolutely no one. At the least, give EU & UK customers the option of buying the controller & coil seperately, like the North American customers have.

Something else I've wanted to ask for ages: NV sells an imported, rip-off Space Case grinder for $20?!
4 Piece Alum Grinder (9133)
In the photos, you can clearly see SC and MADE IN USA on it. For a company that makes grinders and trades on MADE IN USA like NV certainly does, I don't understand how you sell fake Chinese knock-offs and harm the sales and brand of your fellow American manufacturer? Surely this embarrassment adds little to your bottomline, but it undermines the top shelf, top quality brand image that NV has cultivated so far.

Please don't take this personally @NewVape420 it's certainly not intended that way & I don't want to piss off the boss! I know these moves aren't your call and I don't want or expect a response. You're doing a great job in what must be a difficult position at times. Keep kicking ass and maintain your positive attitude!

NewVape has to make money on items they sell. Only a $15 increase over the dhgate price is more than reasonable considering they more than likely had to pay import tax. I agree that they should take some photos of the actual grinder they are selling but it clearly states it is an import grinder in the description.

  • Machined from Alum 6061
  • Black Anodized.
  • Rare earth magnets
  • 2.5" dia
  • IMPORT

@Likes2vape hey man, good points all around. I agree NV needs to make money but there's no way that NV is paying anything like the single-unit price. They're making more than $15 per bundle, my friend.

Now about the grinder, very interesting because I didn't consider that NV are using SC images and the grinder actually sold isn't branded as SC. I would have thought that if I click buy, I would receive the item shown in 5-6 pictures. I never thought or expressed they were trying to deny it's imported. There are many people who knowingly buy a counterfeit for much less than the original. It's still not cool.

But your understanding that the grinder shipped is a no-name import is nice. I've got no problem then.
Also, let me say that it's 3:30 in the morning and I'm up in pain and catching my son's virus. I probably shouldn't post when I am compromised. After my post, I stepped away and vaped a bit and realized that pain was colouring my perspective and my post was proof. Apologies! I should only lurk if up with pain, no posting when grumpy!

I also would like to see a option for single eu/uk e-nail pid cotroller and the optin for only buying a uk/eu coil...
I have bought my controller and coil from dhgate for eu because then it was the only option, but I would not need all the extras in the eu/uk pid controller set which you now offer...
also if the coil fails it would be nice to be able to buy only the coil... as far as I understood the eu/uk pid controller uses another coil then the us pid controller...

So what would i do to get a replacement coil? I got the Kit from Vapefiend, btw all the extra stuff was in there too (Nail, Silicone container, dabber etc.)

Would it be wise to get a spare coil? It s my first e nail and i have no idea how likely it is to fail....

Have a great day!

EDIT: last days at 740°, uncapped with controlled / semi-slow draw or capped with a strong draw :freak: - i like

They need to change the picture. No biggie but its also inarguable (to me) that the picture needs to be of the actual model sold.

They last a long time, tens of thousands of hours.

Except when they don't. I have had a coil failure with no more than 20 hours on it. Coils fail and an owner needs to identify a sourced and even perhaps buy a spare, IMO.

Cheers

they say im crazy but i have a good time
...after some frustration with my new controller i decided to revert to my RDK-200 because the performance in comparison was untouched with my flowerpot/showerhead...

Coil cover is cosmetic and blues nicely with use, it will not protect you or a surface from burns. I think it does give the piece a nice finished look. Respect! YaMon

It is not cosmetic , it actually helps maintain the temp and keep it a bit more stable trapping the heat in around the coil. It may not make a huge a difference but it helps.
