Question to my fellow Hazers...have you sent in your Haze for repairs or RMA recently? I got an email from Haze saying I will be charged $35 for technician's service time for repairs. Never was charged anything in the past. Good ole days are gone? ;-)

People often confuse a warranty coverage with a service plan or insurance coverage. We do not sell you a service plan at the time of the sale. If you need service, there is a flat fee. We have been doing this since beginning of 2017 as we see more and more people sending us extremely in bad shape units and expect a brand new replacement under 10 year warranty. We now inspect your unit and if we find factory defect, we replace it or repair it at our cost. That is the warranty coverage. We explained this in detail in our email. This is your second unit and we will do a thourough inspection. Please let me know if our email was not clear.

@Haze Vaporizers
I purchased the lifetime upgrade for haze dual v3 (remember it being $100) but u stopped upgrading and moved to a new line of vaporizers (I.e. Square and merger) Does that mean we will never be able to use this upgrade?

Yes you still can since Haze Dual line will remain with future new offerings and versions that our team is currently working on. Haze Square is a convection on demand vape while Dual is the conduction, session vaporizer style. Merger will also be a different style of vaping once it is released.

That's not what's happening. The warrant folks are telling me up front I'm going to be charged $35 no matter what. I sent in an obviously messed up unit in Nov. and was charged $35. 60 days later the unit is doing the same thing (one chamber on high no matter what level you set it to) and I'm being told it will be $35 minimum again? Does Haze not warrant their repair work?

We do. Unless we are sent a unit like this below and expected a warranty repair at no cost which happens very frequently.

Please PM me so i can look into your service history for you.

Not sure how to PM but I'll try. The unit was completely rebuilt on the inside around Thanksgiving.

For anyone interested, Haze Dual v3 for $100 this week.

They've had it on clearance since the start of the month but I had yet to pull the trigger. Last night I figured I'd see if the site would accept the 20% off Valentines code along with the clearance price and it WORKED. Shipped out today, can't wait to experience the HAZE!!

HI Guys.
Long time lurker first time poster.
Great thread and thumbs up to the haze team for a great product.

One of my ovens stopped working. when I flip the switch light comes on but no heat transfers to the chamber.

I wont be able to send it in using the warranty and wont be able to for at least another 10 months ,so I opened it to see if I can fix it my self.

I dissembled it very carefully, so far so good, but when I closed it the temp control button refused to pop back up it just stays pushed in. everything else works fine. the flip turns it on chamber heats etc.

Ive taken some pics of the inside of unit and of the button.

Please help me since I have no way of even buying a new one for quite some time.

P.s i couldn't figure out how to attach the images to my post.

hazer,
Hello fellow fuckers! Haven't been on in awhile. I unfortunately dropped one of my beloved V3s on a brick floor with the glass stem extended. Of all the luck, it fell on the stem, pushing it in whilst shattering it inside the vapor path at the same time. Attempts to extract it were unsuccessful as it broke into smithereens in there when I used various implements to try to remove it.

Vacation is imminent and I didn't have time to send it in for repair. I also didn't want to pay full price since the Haze has been out for over three years, and $250 is hefty. The deal over at VaporNation is sold out, but the good news is that I found a coupon for 30% off your entire order at hazevaporizers. com. I saved $75 dollars! If anyone is interested, the coupon code is Hazev30.

Fuck combustion forever!

I would have tried the air in a can to blow out all the glass pieces. Blow through the chambers into the air path.

Unfortunately, the vapor path and stem needed to be cleaned and are sticky AF. Plus, I'm worried about miniscule shards of glass remaining in the air path and being aspirated during a later sesh. I'm paranoid like that.

haze dual v3 is a bad vape, a conduction nightmare, not recommended for dry herb at all. customer service stinks as much as the factory smell of the damn thing.....bad product....bad company

Modnote: Your characterization of a well-regarded company like Haze is not only ill-informed, it's likely point-worthy as well. You have been warned.

The vape is in the eye of the beholder. I love mine and I have had various iterations of it since 2014. I haven't had to deal with CS lately, but it used to be excellent when Scott was there.

As far as the quality of the vape, it browns the herb evenly with no stirring needed, unlike the Pax or Ascent. I don't know what you're talking about as far as factory smell as it is nonexistent in mine, and I have a pretty sensitive olfactory sense compared to people around me when it comes to faint odors. Maybe you're smelling your own farts?

Also, if you don't like conduction vapes, why did you buy one?

I’ve been using mine for about 2 years now. Never had an issue with r at all. I actually prefer it over my Vapir Rise 2.0 for small sessions. For large sessions and many people my Vapir is better suited. But I’ve never had an issue with this vape.

you can hold it upside down and turn it on , let it get hot and those pieces would come out... just keep it turned upside down as you try and dislodge... the keeping it hot part would be Key.... I'm thinking maybe a big safety pin straitened then put a small J hook on the tip with needle nose pliers and use that to stick up there and pull backwards to dislodge... afterwards use Qtips and alcohol to get the rest and clean the unit too...
then once fixed possibly use the unit on a bubbler for a while to make sure you do not inhale directly from it and the mouthpiece... this is just suggestions only or advice, approach at your own risk

Firstly you come off as, well I won't go there!!!! :mental:

Secondly, I completely disagree with your characterization of Haze. :hmm:

Thirdly, you should have probably kept a Haze for when you reach 60 hours on your Crafty. :rip:

I bought the haze as a back up to the crafty which is on 88hrs atm. 1 good thing about the haze is that it's batteries can charge my crafty.

When you reach out to a company 7 times with no reply patience gets thin
