New glass bowl will be able to hold and properly vaporize .5 correct?

Damn that's huge.... I would be more than happy if it would just hold half of that. I just don't feel the experience is the same loading a small amount in a large bowl.

Any time estimate on when the new glass bowl will be released?

Good question, I wonder if Stevenlmz will be released sooner... i'm guessing yes. Good tide me over!

And any idea when the showerhead will be back in stock / for sale?

It shows in stock for me bro!

Nope. That's an huge amount for the FP. Currrent recommendation is .05-.10, and that's a couch-lock, knockout amount. Like taking a J straight to yo face! You can probably jam .5 in if you want, but its going to completely block the airflow.

Nope. Its going to be quite some time. We have sent RFQ's for 100 piece initial orders to both Bradley Miller(US), and china factory and received no quotes from each. If anyone is waiting on the glass to purchase the Flowerpot, please know that its going to be some time. To get this bowl to NewVape quality standards, its going to take some serious R&D. The glass bowl is not currently being sourced.

It was just put back in stock!

We definitely need this forum's help. As stated we've gotten no response from both US and offshore suppliers. Our specifications are a challenge as we need tolerances to be met very closely, a challenge for lampworked borosilicate. Even the raw tubes from makers like Schott, Simex and Corning don't have 100% consistent OD's. We have assured potential blowers that we can adjust the dimensions of the mating part to fit what is possible on a production run. Consistency is what we need, and with glass...that's damn hard.

If anyone knows of a glass blower that might be interested please forward this link to them! The proposed drawing is completely open to modifications to make more workable. We can send them the coil nut for reference.

Our main criteria is to:

1) Final product must prove to hold the showerhead safely when being used on a 45deg beaker rig while doing a dab with the showercap.
2) Retain a 3/4" ti screen, healthstone, quartz frit, etc any thing else that will fit inside a 3/4" x 1/2" bowl.
3) 18mm male
4) Very flat top
5) The 1/2" top section of the outside dia of the bowl must be held consistent for production. (this is the area the 20mm coil nut interfaces with)
6) Sturdy, sensible handle.

The glass bowl looks good. I suppose only being able to get all-glass with big nugs would force me to do whole nugs/chunks more... but I would really like the ability to do ground buds with all glass too if this is even possible.

Yes.....having a total glass heating element, bowl, into a water unit would be the ultimate setup. But let me just say that unless you have tried using the setup like many of us are using....with the glass bowl and a ss or other screen....it is not that far off from having all glass bowl and screen.

This is why it will be a must to have at least 2 different bowls to cover a wide range of use.

1. a tall one for those that want either a larger load, do full buds, watch their loads melt.....
2. one like we have been using now (look back a page or two for my post with all the pics) that
can allow use of finer grinds, small chunks/buds without metal screen added, or normal all round
use with either tiny amounts or up to say 0.1 to 0.13 like it is now with the bowls I current use.

Also make them so you can use the hemp fiber at the same time if you want. Though I have some
h-fiber...I have not wanted to use it for some minor reasons and I am already have a quick and simple
method to clean my arizer gongs the same way. Having the ability to tweak and micro adjust for various uses is key....just like the vape already is.

3) 18mm male

I understand that going with a 18mm helps in heat dissipation and overall strength, but I would rather have one in 14mm and use the adapters most of us have already. I have not had any need to use a 18 female to 14 male adapter ever. Not sure if I am alone here? It is just nice to have as little connections as possible to keep the bowl top height low as possible.

+1 if only one size is to be offered it should definitely be 14mm male. 18mm reduces easily to 14mm, but going from 14mm to 18mm is clunky.

Why not just buy these? $12 all over the internet:

Checks all the boxes, and it's 14mm like many are asking for.
The outside diameter is a touch small, but it covers all SH holes, and has such a flat top that it's easy to seal the vacuum. :)

Don't bother with the 18mm version though... the O.D. is too large unless you invert your ShowerHead.

Tried searching thread but I cannot unscrew the bottom part of my showerhead. I'm using a d-nail coil that's a bit wider than most, but not sure why it got stuck. Any advice?

Tried unscrewing when cold and hot, doesn't budge

 is that glass screen removable? Does it impede airflow much?

No, and no.

I put a thin "mat" of degummed hemp fiber over the top of that star screen, when vaping finely ground herb. I often use the bowl "As-Is" when roasting full nugs, without the hemp fiber mat screen. I typically use some kind of particle trap under the bowl as well... I don't like chunks in my glass. :)

Combo weekend! Enjoying some rosin smeared on whole nugs in the FP SH set at 700F, vape away the outer terps and melt the rosin into the nug then scissor it up and enjoy thick tasty rips! May just have to break out the wraparound setup and start doing some double decker mixes :science:

I would say it is like 85% sufficient to what it could be for seal. Just a bit more fit for a much better performance is possible I feel. Even though I am digging low temps like 600 to 620 mainly.....I can get big full draws of vapor in a 6 second draw. Having a better bowl seal would allow for possible better performance and more control.
