A standard 62 mm stem.
Can be coupled with either a Titanium tip or a stainless steel tip.
Can be used with or without a condenser .
Simple cap-length ,polished mouthpiece end and the rest of the stem is "sandstone " textured.
Anodised to purple-blue-teal hue .
Simple yet slick !

Cheers.

Like @nickdanger , I have had my previous SDS stems for a few weeks now. For some reason I was unable to up-load pics to Imgur. Now it suddenly works again. Go figure.

Anyway, here is a pic of my stems.

The beautiful blue one with the bark design is a 62mm niobium stem. It is the first one made by @stardustsailor and was a gift that I will treasure forever. It is stunningly beautiful and I feel blessed to have it. I promise to take good care of it.

The hammered stem is a custom 79mm titanium stem that has been anodized twice to achieve a two-tone effect. It is a coppery pink/blue color. It also has a stylized mouthpiece which has a lovely curve to it. I love it and have been using it constantly.

Don't hesitate if you're on the fence. @stardustsailor makes beautiful custom stems and is a joy to work with! Thank you!!! You are a true artist!

One of these days I'll be buying one of the custom stems. They are so beautiful in the pics it's so hard to even settle on a design! If had the go ahead to buy one tonight, I'll tell you what: I wouldn't be able to decide on a stem design.
I think even it comes time to buy one I'll just let him know the colors I like and the textures I like and to have creative freedom? I know I want it to be an XL, no question there. I love love love the blended colors that stardust does. Stunning.

These stems, along with the newest ti tip version with the deep grooves, is a really effective device. The texture makes the stem feel really nice in the hand and easy to spin. It's a beautifully crafted piece. Now after seeing the purple one, I may have to order one of those at some point. I may be saving money on material, but I'm sure it is being compensated for by purchasing all the VC accessories available lol!

I haven't bought anything carbless yet. I guess I made my Nonavong carbless with oring placement. Are these pieces generally meant to be condenser free as well or do they go both ways? I would think condenser free would be kinda messy, but being metal they should clean up fine.

I've used these stems and the ones from @phattpiggie without a carb, and can get massive hits. I haven't tried them with anything other than the most recent generation ti tips with the improved airflow. I imagine earlier tips might be harder to draw from though. I do use the condenser with these.

They can operate either with or even without a condenser .
Very easy to clean ,indeed !

Well, you are on my list for sure. Some of your work is outstanding, and all of it is interesting. I think your surfaces are beautiful. I especially like the bark, but in person I'm sure they are all quite lovely. Looking forward to seeing one up close.

I have a standard and an XL condenser in my SDS stems, but mine are 62mm long and 79mm long, so the condensers fit perfectly. If you order one outside the condenser options with or without mps, you either need to make a custom condenser or go without.

I have come to enjoy and appreciate my stems more and more as time goes by. They ARE beautiful. Pictures are great and I love seeing them all but real life is where you fall in love.

Yes!^ Thanks goes to @Squiby yet again; is there anything the lady doesn't know?! And beautiful! The Total Package! Get outta here! :D I very nearly PM'd SDS yesterday to ask if I could use the spinning Ti mp, XL condenser, & get an SDS stem without the end mp band. Although I think I'd like to keep a small band on the tip end. No carb of course, but I like the XL length. Then I thought, "The man is busy and you're bored, leave him alone." My brain should have added "Squiby will answer this in an off-hand way before long, anyway."

I don't believe that I'd like to go condenser-free, I'm afraid I like a bit of restriction. Maybe somebody going commando, those with no innertube, what shall we call these free & easy folk with no condensers? Maybe one of these heathens could tell us what the experience is like? I imagine to be a great deal like a steamroller but maybe it's nothing like that. Perhaps I'm missing out, idk. But I got SE mp/tip earmarked for some SDS love and for that, I need an XL condenser.

Good night you crazy people keeping me up! I had to login just to chime in here, ffs. It's almost 1 in the AM, you guys are bad influences. Because I'm an angel on my own. Why do we only have a devil smiley but no angel smiley? Coincidence? I think not. I'm so glad @stardustsailor is alive/well and new job is a go! I've no doubt you'll be "kicking ass and taking names!" - if you're not familiar with this Texas saying, it means to be doing well/succeeding in an endeavour. You've got a great attitude, great with people, like to learn/do new things; those are "skills" nobody can teach. Now go kick some ass and take some names! :D
